I came to Summit Training several years ago looking for something different than “more reps, more weight”. I found personalized workouts focused on my goals. Dan is attentive, encouraging and never lets me settle for less when it’s difficult. As a result of my training at Summit, I am stronger and more confident. My experience here has truly been life changing. I have struggled with knee pain for years which limited my ability to do things like hiking and biking. I also had post-op wrist and upper extremity weakness and pain. Since starting my journey here with Ben I am stronger, more comfortable, and am back to hiking and biking. I mostly work with Ben but have had the opportunity to work with the other trainers too and they are all supportive and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve worked with these trainers for almost 7 years. I had trainer at a different gym before here for 5 years who retired. These people are EXCELLENT trainers! They really know what they’re doing which also means no injuries at the gym and they can really help you recover when you get injured outside the gym. They know how to create a workout for anyone at any level. I HIGHLY recommend Summit to anyone. It will be the best investment you ever make in your health. I am 100% not an athletic person but I’m good at this because these trainers know how to teach.

Addie is amazing! We have loved training with her for the past 2 years. She tailors all our workouts to us, including for injuries or personal preference. She also creates personalized work outs for us to do at home too! The gym is an amazing facility and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!

I have been training at Summit since September 2022 and the experience has been phenomenal! I have neck, shoulder, back, and hip pain so the "typical" personal trainer wasn't going to cut it. My brother who is a chiropractor recommended Motive based on their focus on movement, flexibility, and overall health not just losing weight and gaining muscle. I have lost weight and gained muscle BUT most importantly my neck, shoulders, back, and hips are mostly pain free. I am able to work, live, and keep up with my now six year-old daughter significantly better than I did prior to training.
Dan has been fantastic! I originally signed on for three months of training to alleviate my pain and get in shape for ski season. I figured I would learn some good workouts, and then when the three months were completed, I would join a gym and apply what I learned at Motive. No way! I'm in seven months and still going strong.
Every training session Dan asks how I'm feeling, what's sore, what hurts, what my goals are, and he develops/adjusts my training regimen specific to my needs that day. If I'm having pain or am tight, we stretch more. If I let him know I want to look good for a beach vacation, he caters my workout to that. There's no way I would be getting the results I'm getting if I was just trying to wing it on my own and guessing at what is going to get me results. I hate, hate, hate working out, but I know I have to do it, and if I have to do it, Dan and Motive are the only people I am trusting with my overall anatomical and physiological health.

I have been training at Summit for the past year, and I am the strongest I’ve ever been! All the trainers are very knowledgeable and tailor workouts to your own fitness level to get results while keeping you safe.

Bonus, Summit also offers physical therapy! I randomly experienced a sciatica flair up over Christmas and Brandon was amazing!! After massage, dry needling, and exercises to stretch/strengthen the area, I was feeling sooooooo much relief after the first session! A couple more appointments and I was as good as new!

I highly recommend Summit for personal training and physical therapy!

I actually started working with Dan over three years ago to prepare for two knee replacement surgeries. Not only did I experience a speedy recovery ( for both) but have continued to work with Dan to improve my balance and overall stamina.

In addition I’ve struggled with neck issues for years that have caused severe migraines and continue to get worse and more frequent. The timing of the gym’s expansion is impeccable because of the addition of Brandon, a physical therapist and Dan’s brother. I’ve now worked with him for 6 weeks and the relief he has provided is significant! I continue to improve after each session for which I am very grateful.

By far the best personal trainers in town. Highly recommend to anyone who might be just starting or have been working out for years. I joined about a year ago very new to strength and mobility training and admittedly not in the best shape. In that time I have seen better results than I could have ever imagined and am beyond thrilled.

I work with Ben and he is amazing!!! He is really tuned in to what you need and makes even the hardest workouts feel like no big deal…until the day after and you feel muscles you didn’t even know you had. He makes the time there fun and I have never once dreaded going to an appointment. Ben met me where I was at and taught me to believe that I could do all the things he was throwing at me.

After researching different personal trainers, I stumbled upon this place and met Dan. I knew I was going to sign up immediately. I loved the energy. I love the message that they have. But what really impressed me was when we started a session and I was found to have adhesive capsulitis. Not only do they offer personal training, but they also work on any mobility issues or pains that you may have. I work with Ben who is very knowledgeable and pushes me more than I can ever do for myself and he fixed my arm in just a few months! I’ve been there for five months now and I don’t think I can ever stop working with them. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

The 5 star reviews are accurate. I started working with Dan and other team members 18 months ago after a left knee replacement; I also have arthritis challenges in my back. My mobility has improved dramatically, including mountain hikes, and I have discontinued cortisone shots in my back.

The workouts are varied, challenging and focused on my needs. By far the best compared to several other trainers over the years.
