At the beginning trainers we attentive and visits were great. I feel that morning is the time to go. Trainers are more "present". 2 times (afternoon) that I went, the trainers were off training each other and not paying attention to their clients. There was other times that the trainers were too busy gossiping.

The trainers are very knowledgeable & the entire staff is super friendly & helpful. I’ve been a member at many other gyms & this is by far, the best! I have joined Troy city fitness just recently . It has been 2 weeks . Attended 6 sessions so far .

My experience at TCF has been transformational! Andre and all the trainers are so helpful, patient & do a great job motivating me to push myself through workouts. The thing I enjoy most about TCF is that they've built a community there, made classes interactive and fun, and it genuinely seems like everyone looks forward to working out. The 6 week training program really helps you to reset mentally and physically, and for me, it made me rethink the way I portion my meals and emphasized the importance of clean eating and consistency with everything from hydration to sleep. By week four, I had lost 6lbs and nearly 4 percent body fat. Seeing your results from week to week and messaging with your trainer really helps to fuel the momentum & getting to know the team and other patrons there actually makes it fun. Highly recommend for people that need more accountability and community in their workouts and are looking for long term lifestyle changes!

Let me start by saying I absolutely love this gym and everything about it! I have been struggling with my weight my entire life and I always had such a hard time finding a gym program that worked for me or to have a trainer that holds me accountable for my diet and exercise.
I found that trainer in Andre (and his team) at Troy City Fitness! He has a very strict but doable regimen that holds me extremely accountable for my daily routines. He coaches you through counting macros, charting your foods, and keeping logs of your exercises. There is an app that is very user friendly that you can access your workouts on at any time.
Last year I followed a strict program to get back in shape, and I got pregnant after my weight loss. My progress photos looked incredible, counting macros became a habit and I started documenting my progress through weekly videos and noticed positive changes very quickly.
TCF Trainers are THE BEST! I have had the pleasure of working with every single trainer personally and they are always so professional and encouraging and push you to where they know you can go.. They always motivate you to keep going and truly want to help you achieve your own personal goals/gains. They also modify your workouts if need be and always have great modifications! (I modify for my knee and ankle and now my core because I’m postpartum 3 months)
If you’re looking for a LIFESTYLE change and not just a temporary diet, you should contact Andre, he will literally make your dream body a reality as long as you’re willing to put in the hard work and commitment it takes!

I had a busy day so I’ve been ignoring texts. I looked at a group chat, and someone said “has anyone seen or talked to Nicole today?” And another person responded “she’s probably at the gym”- Today is a perfect example of why I am leaving this review.
I have been on some form of a diet for most of my life, gaining and losing 5-10 pounds year after year. I’ve tried every gym, workout dvd (Yes p90x), every diet, juice cleanses, stomach wraps whatever. I have tried it all and this is the first gym I’ve ever stuck with.
I’ve been a client for a little over a year and dropped 35 pounds and 13% body fat. What was different about TCF is that I actually learned about food and my body type. This is not a “one-size fits all” gym, they will create programs tailored to you, your life style, and your eating habits. I was bloated all the time, I wasn’t getting enough sleep (or water), I was stressed, It was bad. But through a series of personalized training, amazing coaches, fun but challenging group classes and activities, reading lists and just support from the TCF community, I’m an entirely different person.
I feel loved, I feel cared about, and most importantly, I’m happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.
If you could do it by yourself, you would’ve done it by now. No more excuses! Get up, put in the work, and stay consistent. Results don’t come from shortcuts or trendy social media diets—they come from discipline and effort. You owe it to yourself to commit and make it happen! I hope to see you in the gym soon!

Just joined the TCF family in December by happy chance.
I love the flexibility and the workouts. You will be challenged. All the trainers are great. I've worked with each one of them. My fitness has greatly improved. I never thought I'd be able to do certain movements without pain (previous acl injury). The workouts are structured allow your body to gradually strengthen.
If you avoid cardio like me, then they're cardio classes are something to behold. They're excitingly challenging.
Also, I love their programs bse they work in all planes which is overall better for body movement.
Looking for nutrition advice, look no further. For once you'll have nutritionists who are also fitness trainers.

I began the 6 week challenge at Troy City Fitness during an extremely low period in my life. I struggled with binge eating as well as going days without eating - while excessively working out. My unhealthy relationship with food and exercise had a significant negative effect on my mental health. Andre created a customized plan to help me rethink what health and fitness should look and feel like. After two weeks on this challenge and with Andre as my accountability coach, I began to feel more like myself again. I no longer saw food as an enemy, but as a source of fuel to keep me going throughout the day, and the training part of the challenge encouraged me to push myself beyond limits I never thought possible. I highly recommend this gym. Professional, organized, clean, and more importantly they deliver results. My main trainer Morgan, is consistently following up with me (weekly, sometimes every encounter lol), checking my food intake, asking for weekly weigh-in’s, and always working with me to ensure I reach my goals.
Not to mention, this gym is for EVERYONE young, old, mom, dad, and it is kid friendly. So no excuses

I had a really good time with Troy City Fitness and with Morgan as my trainer. Morgan was really helpful in regards to diet and helped suggest things I should be focusing on including in my diet. When working out she usually did really well getting just the right weights for me :) i dont think I had to ask for heavier weights very often. I think she also explains exercises really well.
So far I lost 16 lbs in the 2 months I've been with troy city fitness! The diet wasnt nearly as restricting as other diets I've tried during gym programs and I never felt shamed if I had a cheat meal or if my weight fluctuated.
Overall it's been a really positive experience and Im excited to keep going!

The concept of this fitness center is awesome! I have never been so proud of the fitness results I accomplished as I have here. I had been struggling to lose 15 pounds that I had gained over the last 5 years due to pre diabetes and perimenopause. It was impossible to lose the weight without losing the muscle I had. I decided to get some help at the center when I saw on FaceBook about 6 week challenge. I finally visited after contemplating for a bit and it was one of the best decisions I had made and money best spent for my health. My goal was to lose 15 pounds without losing any muscle. After 4 week trial, I’ve lost 7 pounds and gained 1.3 pounds of muscle! Went from 32.4% body fat to 27.3% which is HUGE for my age! I was assigned to Coach Morgan who taught me how to eat healthy in order to lose the pounds without losing muscle. I recently had my bloodwork done, and I was blown away by the result. I had high cholesterol for many years and they all came out to normal. My glucose level was on the high side but that also went down. I am unable to continue my journey at the gym at the moment but if I am able again, I would join back up in a heartbeat! My sincerest thanks to Andre, Morgan and Felix who helped me to get through some of the really challenging workouts and being accountable to eat healthy.

They also do in body results weekly to check your % body fat and muscle mass which checks on your progress. Just from starting a few months ago, I’ve noticed amazing results. I signed up for TCF's 6 week challenge right after Thanksgiving. I've been working out 5 days a week for years but wasn't really seeing any results. During the challenge, I lost 4 pounds and 5% body fat while also gaining 3 lbs of muscle and I have never felt better! Andre and the whole TCF team are amazing and every workout and class is dynamic, tough (in a food way), and FUN! Individualized workout plans to meet your personal goals are uploaded to an app with video tutorials for you to follow along and you can enter your weights/reps to track progress. The plan/phase changes periodically so you never get bored and stay challenged.
Men and women workout along side each other, and in my experience the weight room tends to be more female dominant which I love. The whole community is very supportive, friendly, and helpful.
Andre’s Saturday AM glutes class is a party of strong women with similar goals and it will leave you very sore but in the best way.
All of the trainers and staff are amazing. Leila has been going above and beyond working with me to achieve my goals and fine tune my form. Marlon is always smiling and greets you by name as soon as you walk in. Every single trainer is incredible at what they do.

I consider myself to be your average fitness person. The one who has tried every diet program and exercise routine until April 2023 when I was introduced to Troy City Fitness from a friend! My husband and I decided to sign up, we couldn’t be happier and we haven’t needed to try anything new.
Why, because you get semi private workout sessions, your personal exercise routine on an app and your trainers are there to set up your workout, show you proper form, answer questions or even substitute a workout should you have an injury, plus they encourage you to challenge your strength.
They also have great hours, group classes that focus on glutes, arms, cardio and my favorite part —- nutrition guidance and accountability.
I am more aware of what I choose to put on my plate and how often I am eating. This was my biggest opportunity for learning and it’s been extremely helpful and effective to change my habits. I of course am not a fitness model, but I can absolutely say I am living a healthier life with their support. That’s what matters most to me.

I joined TCF after having my second child and feeling defeated through my post-partum journey & the only thing I regret, is not joining sooner! I started with the 6 week challenge where I really began to understand nutrition. I’ve always loved strength training but didn’t have the confidence to try new workouts. I have been at TCF for six months now, and I only have positive things to say. Before starting here, I had not worked out for over a year and was probably in the worst shape I’ve ever been in. Six months later, I have never felt stronger! I still have a long way to go for my own personal goals, but every week there is something to feel proud of - whether it’s a loss in body fat % or pounds, increase in muscle mass, lifting heavier weights or increasing reps. You are provided workouts through the TCF app, so you always have a plan on what to do and can see your progress week to week. The trainers are all amazing and guide you on how to do each workout. You can also tell that the trainers and everyone that works out here really wants you to succeed, which is something I’ve not experienced in any gym before. I have had a great experience with Troy City Fitness, the coaches are great and really help to stay on track. One of the best coaching experiences I have had and the facility is great, they’re currently expanding and acquiring new equipment to facilitate more members at a time!

Joining Troy City Fitness is one of the best decisions I've made. Not only are the trainers incredible, but the community at TCF is amazing. The staff is top notch; I am always greeted by name, and Selena has a protein shake waiting for me by the end of my workout! Andre's approach to fitness and nutrition works--I have never had a coach as dedicated as him. I am impressed by how interactive he is with his clients. If you train here and follow Andre's nutrition guide, you’ll meet your goals. I saw results in just 2 weeks! I could say great things about all the trainers; I love training with Leila! I did the 6 week challenge to lose 10 lbs, and all of the trainers were extremely encouraging and motivating, while also holding me accountable to work out regularly and eat properly. It was a great success and I lost around 13 pounds by the end of the challenge, while building muscle.
Two months later and I’ve lost another 12 pounds - all in all 25 lbs and counting! Needless to say, Coach Andre’s methods work and I highly encourage anyone who wants to make a real fitness and lifestyle improvement to check out Troy City Fitness!
