Izzy is a wonderful trainer/coach! I feel she has great intuition about what areas we should work on and where our focus should be. I have gained more strength than I have had in years. I couldn’t recommend True Grit more!

Checked out an open drop in HIIT class with IZZY on Saturday at 9am. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was awesome! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. We started with group stretching, then were broken into groups of 2. We each did a HIIT Circuit as many rounds as we could for 8 minutes. Then a few minute break. Then did another Circuit, rest and another. All moves could be adjusted to your work out level. Legs, Arms, Core and Cardio. We did a cool down and all felt GREAT after it was over.
Locally owned, great people, and care very much about their clients. Can't wait to go back to another drop in class.

I had never worked with a personal trainer but needed to build strength and add some muscle and decided to give it a try 2 years ago. Sean was, and continues to be, the perfect fit for me. He designed a workout regimen for me that definitely pushes me..a lot...but it's very much worth it and the results speak for themselves. Also, I love the new space!

Training with Sean over the past 3+ years helped me change my life for the better. I came in with very limited mobility and previous injuries and medical conditions and was steadily able to gain mobility. Fantastic results. After sustaining a back injury, training with True Grit has provided me recovery and increased fitness. Sean does a great job pushing me, but careful not to over extend. Lastly- Sean is fun… great dry wit helps the hardest of sessions.

I'm a new client at True Grit Training. I've only been working out with Sean for a month but I'm already much stronger than I was when I started with him. I have been plagued with shoulder/ trap issues, and he has helped me build up that area. His workouts are specifically tailored to my needs which I really appreciate. He comes up with exercises I would NEVER think of on my own. The sessions are not only effective, but also really enjoyable. I'm excited to see more results as I continue my fitness journey at True Grit Training. I can't recommend Sean enough!!

I worked with Sean in the past at another gym, and was excited to hear about him opening his own place. Awesome space, awesome location. He always finds the right balance of challenging me without pushing over my capacity. Also, he plays great tunes 😎😎 Highly recommend!!! I do my sessions with a friend which helps my nerves when it comes to using gym equipment 😂

We have been working with Sean since August 2020. I believe we are his chronologically oldest clients at age 76. Our goal was to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and stamina. We can’t say enough about Sean’s skill in assessing our starting points and guiding us to marked improvement and progress in all our goal areas in addition to other modalities he has introduced through our customized weekly workout sessions. His personalized printed plans make workouts between sessions with him easy to follow. He is always available between training sessions for clarification, modification, and suggestions. He is a natural listener and highly intuitive. His experience and expertise + empathy make him an outstanding personal trainer. We highly recommend Sean to anyone-no matter your age.

My experience with Sean over the last few years has been nothing short of amazing. I had back surgery in 2022 and physical therapy and other exercises were not doing much for me and my sciatica. I decided to try personal training and it completely changed my physical wellbeing. After six months of lifting I definitely felt stronger but I also started feeling pain free. Sean is great at customizing workouts and helping me get back on track when my back is having a bad day. It’s also been the only workout routine I’ve ever stuck to and actually enjoy. Looking forward to getting even stronger (and being able to do a pull up) in 2025! 💪🏼
