The workouts that are prepared are fast paced and challenging, both from a strength perspective, and cardio perspective. Everyone needs a cheerleader, and Paige is definitely that for me. Training with her has been a game changer she motivates me while teaching the proper fundamentals and making sure I understand my BMI, meal intake, and personalized workout plan. In all my years of memberships at other gyms and studios, this has been by far the best experience—both in terms of results and overall vibe. What truly sets TRV | FIT apart is its amazing community. My fellow members are my accountability partners—they’re a big reason I love showing up for every session.

The facility itself is fantastic: it’s spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of heavy weights to get a solid pump going. Whether it’s barbells, kettlebells, or sleds on the turf, everything you need is here.

I love that every class is a full, efficient workout in just about 45 minutes, and there are sessions available morning, afternoon, and evening. So if life gets in the way of my morning routine, I never fall off my workout split—I can easily catch an evening class.

TRV | FIT Detroit is perfect for anyone serious about working out and improving their health. The coaching is top-notch, the community is supportive, and the facility is well-equipped. Highly recommend!

Finding TRVfit felt like uncovering a hidden gem. The group classes are engaging and effective. Every single coach is kind, knowledgeable and invested in creating great workouts. I am so fortunate to have been paired with Chloe for personal training. My one goal was to be stronger. Chloe's approach to training felt like a loving challenge. I never anticipated the physical results that I gained in 4 months of working together or the confidence that came from feeling so supported. THE BEST COACH! I have been an athlete my entire life. Years ago I felt I lived in the gym but I have to say that now, at the age of 38, I am hands down in the best shape of my life. For that I need to take a moment to thank TruFit and COACH CARTER especially. I was going to the group classes but with my crazy work schedule it was not consistent. I inquired about private training and Coach Carter was great about accommodating a crazy time that worked for me.
I began working with him 7 months ago. I thought I knew how to work out but he put together an incredible plan that changed every month to keep things fresh and my body progressing. Every month we do a body scan and my muscle mass % has gone up and body fat % down. More importantly I cannot believe what i see when I look in the mirror! Coach Carter shows up every day and is there (really there) for each rep making sure you're getting the most out of it. He makes sure you have the best form yet are pushing yourself on every single rep. Ive been impressed and inspired by his dedication to his craft and how much he cares about seeing the progress in others.
I have a list of qoutes I keep on my phone and one is from COACH when I heard him say one day "This is your workout. This is your time. You can never get that rep back. You can never get that time back."

I love TRV Fit! The workouts are super intentional and always keep things interesting whether it’s strength training, conditioning, or kickboxing, there’s something for everyone.

The coaches are awesome. They really take the time to get to know you, help you with your form, support your goals, and even share advice that goes beyond the gym.

I had the pleasure of training with Carter Drazga for over six months, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. In a relatively short time, I saw meaningful progress in my hip flexibility, overall mobility, and core strength. Areas I had struggled with for years.

Loved my time at TRV Fit Detroit (only reason I had to cancel my membership is because I am moving out of the state)! I had personal training sessions with Marisa - She was awesome, and truly cared about me and my fitness goals. After trying a few gyms in the area, I found TRV|FIT and haven't looked back. The coaches are great - I'm pretty sure I only introduced myself once and they have greeted me by name every class since. They're supportive and encouraging, and provide challenging workouts as well as motivation to go along with them. The other members are friendly and it really feels like a community. I never feel any judgment if I modify anything, but I'm encouraged and motivated by the coaches and other members to challenge myself. I love their more traditional class offerings that are strength and/or conditioning, but I especially love that they also have boxing workouts. It was everything I was looking for in a gym and I'm so glad I joined!

This place is awesome! I want to start off by saying my wife (who is a regular) convinced me to join their 6 week "Spring Shred" challenge. I was as skeptical as they come because I've never been a fan of class workouts but I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at TRV|FIT Detroit the last 6+ weeks.

This is no Zumba or Pilates studio (though they have some lighter movement-based offerings), every offering here is designed to test your mettle. The classic TRV|X classes are a great all around mix of strength and cardio, the GRIT classes are strength focused (either upper or lower body), and the Riot clases are boxing based workouts that will leave you soaked and exhausted. There are also some specialty sessions/'clubs' for more targeted work and they offer private and semi-private personal training if that's what you're looking for. Whatever you prefer there's something for you and although you only get out what you put in, the other people in the classes and all the different coaches/trainers are super motivating and there to help you achieve your goals. The class size is capped so you're getting a focused workout without tripping over a hundred people and every session ends with targeted stretches which are a really nice way to finish off an intense workout.

Beyond the physical aspect, there is an unmatched sense of community and a ton of (no pressure) social events hosted by the gym/coaches as well as other gym-goers so you have the opportunity to get to know others.

Highly recommend trying out a session or two - you'll be hooked once you do!

As a seasoned runner who doesn't lift like I should I took a chance on a group fitness class. They were offering a workout class with a goal setting session afterwards. I wanted to be around like-minded individuals who are chasing goals but need the support of a community. I got that and more on just my first two classes! The coaches are awesome and so welcoming! I highly recommend TRV FIT for people of levels of fitness. I joined with the goal of restarting my fitness journey after a long pause of 2 years and trained with Chloe. My wife was starting her weight training for the first time. Chloe was a great coach, skilled, motivated with positive energy, and created excellent workout plans to push through my goals. Based on my research in the Detroit area, these guys are the best trainers with most valued cost plans with multiple options of personal training, semi-private, and group classes. She's pushed me to perform way better than I thought I could. I’ve been going to this Trvfit location for over two years and loved it until a few months ago. Another gym downtown closed, and in response Trvfit increased the class limit. It was impossible to get a good workout- between there not being enough space in the gym, not enough equipment, and not enough time to rotate everyone through the workout, it just became a really frustrating experience. I voiced my concerns with the owner, who said he was aware of these issues and asked for patience while they worked them out. A month later, nothing had changed (they added more classes, but kept the cap at 18….. so nothing changed), and I was tired of getting a subpar workout and leaving frustrated.

I cancelled my membership and was informed I would still be charged for 4 more weeks- so if you have their cheapest membership that’s $140 and it just goes up from there. I understand it was in the contract, but the conditions of the membership changed. The fact that the owner is aware of the issues, doing nothing to fix the problem, and still charging cancellation fees just rubbed me the wrong way. It sucks because I’ve been coming here longer than almost any of the trainers and have loved it until now. I was hoping to come back if they figured themselves out, but after them trying to charge a cancellation fee while knowingly offering a sub-par experience, I’m good.

Genuinely have had the best experiences with the trainers though! Gaby, Chloe and Carter are amazing and I’m so grateful for their positive attitudes and motivation.

As a former college athlete I’ve worked with numerous trainers over the years and Carter is by far the BEST! He is very attentive and checks in frequently to make sure I have the support I need to reach my goals. After having gone to a few gyms in the Detroit area over the last six years, I feel very lucky to have come across TRV FIT at the beginning of 2024. The owner (Travis) is a truly genuine individual who very clearly wants to ensure that every gym member meets their individualized fitness goals. I have been able to master many movements and become considerably stronger in a relatively short amount of time (in spite of already strength training for the last several years). The overall workout space is well-kept and exceptionally clean. The clientele is diverse and welcoming. Very convenient location if you work at Henry Ford Health or in the vicinity. Parking is very easy. Classes are available early in the morning and late in the evening for those who have busy work schedules. Highly recommend!

I’ve been doing personal training with Chloe for the past three months and it’s been such a game-changer. I can’t recommend working with her enough! I’ve struggled with back injuries on and off the past few years, and going into one of those BIG birthdays this coming year I wanted to get my mobility and strength back. The STAIRS best pre pre workout ever! That leads into a nice pre workout/warm-up, I love the difference in trainers they switch things up so it's never boring, and it keeps you engaged. TRVFIT is a great gym. When I first started at the gym over 4 years ago it was mostly due to convenience when I moved nearby. But I quickly realized I had found my place and that TRVFIT was the gym for me!!
The workouts are challenging, work all parts of the body but focus on certain areas as well. There are a few different class formats that offer cardio/strength and conditioning. There are many times I can "feel the burn" almost immediately after class which makes me feel like I truly got in a good work out.
After a few classes I was able to connect with other members and started to develop a sense of community within the gym. And that's one of the things I like so much about TRVFIT, we have a community! Everyone seems to know each other, you see the same familiar faces at class everyday.

A great place if you want to get fit and create new friendships! No matter your fitness level the trainers are flexible and there’s options for everyone. For the past 3 months I’ve been enjoying the diversity of workouts and how intense they are. But even more than that, I’ve come to enjoy all the coaches and how each one cares for all its members even if you don’t train with them. This is not the kind of gym with jerks. There’s a strong sense of community and care with an even larger emphasis on overall wellness. Quite literally the perfect gym for anyone!!!

Can’t recommend TRV|FIT Detroit enough! These classes have challenged me more than any other workout I’ve done and I notice a significant difference in my strength levels. As someone who had little to no experience or confidence lifting weights prior, the trainers really emphasize form and technique in order to make sure you stay safe and benefit from each movement.

Back in March I begin looking for a gym home to start my fitness journey. Discovered TRV Fit via Instagram; and decided to try it out. I signed up for the two weeks free trial that was being offered at time; and HAVE NOT looked backed since! My overall strength and confidence have increased tremendously since joining TRV Fit. I also like how the facility have equipment available to help track your BMI, muscle mass, and other key metrics during your fitness journey. The coaches are great and super motivating! Classes offered are challenging; but fun. Modifications are always demonstrated during each class to either make the exercise easier or more challenging. OBSESSED is an understatement. I've been part of the Detroit TrvFit fam since a month after the gym first opened and I am proud to be considered one of the OGs. My love for TF started off because of its challenging classes, my favorite being TrvX. No class was ever the same, therefore I never got bored. Even in a class setting, the coaches always pushed me on an individual level, ultimately driving me to reach goals beyond what I thought was possible. I can honestly say I've never felt stronger. But aside from the coaching, class styles and personal training (which are 10/10), the members are what makes this gym special. Thanks to TrvFit Detroit, I've met some more life long friends. TRV Fit Detroit is an amazing gym. Honestly it's been one of the best gyms I've been to. I found it through an app that lets you try a bunch of different places, and I was looking for a place where I'd be able to build a gym community which is exactly why I ditched the app to sign up to TRV Fit Detroit. The coaches are amazing, they get to know you, and push you just the right amount. The classes are totally adaptable to your level, meaning that when I first started out with the smallest weights I was training next to these amazing athletes using the 50lb dumbbells. Everyone is super nice and will help you with form and recognize we're all on our own gym journey and we're here to help each other out and cheer each other on! I've been telling everyone I know in Detroit to check it out. And let me tell you, the boxing workouts are a blast.
I'm so sad to be leaving Detroit soon, thanks to the TRV Fit Detroit family!

I remember popping into my first RIOT class at the end of March. Though my movement and punches were clumsy and weak, I feel that this is exactly what I need! Then I started taking 3 classes during weekdays and semi-private class with Travis on Sunday for the following six weeks. Right now I lost almost 4% body fat without any food restriction. I love this gym! My experience so far has been wonderful + all of the trainers have been great as well! I especially enjoy the semi private classes they have because I’ve been able to work on my form + having a trainer in class makes me more comfortable when it comes to lifting weights! I especially enjoy both the Riot & Grit classes the most! I’ve been consistent for about a month now and I’ve lost a total of 10 pounds with no special diet! Now that I’m learning to eat better as well. I’m excited to see how much I’ll lose at the end of next month! Where do I even begin. This gym is EVERYTHING. From the members, to the trainers to the space itself! I love that the workouts are different everyday so you don’t get bored doing the same workouts and you never know what to expect lol! They treat you like family and everyone always has a smile on their face in this gym. Also, you can be in any type of shape and the workouts can all be modified to fit wherever you are at ! It’s like having a personal trainer there with you without paying an arm and a leg for it. I couldn’t see myself going to another gym after coming here. I started Trvfit about a year and a half ago
when a friend invited me to do a free 21 day challenge. However, after the 21 days were over, I couldn't stop coming back! Going to a new gym can be really intimidating even for me but everyone from coaches to members were so welcoming and made you feel like part of the family from day 1. Trvfit has helped me get out of my comfort zone and challenged me with lifting weights, body weight workouts, and even hitting the mitts! Before Trvfit I had never even touched a pair of gloves, now it's part of my workout routine at least once a week. I've only been here for a few weeks but I've been having such a good time that I know I'll be here for a while. It's a super welcoming and supportive atmosphere for people in any shape in a way I haven't experienced at other gyms before. The coaches are amazing with each one of them having their own style for workouts so things stay interesting. Class sizes are usually around five people for the morning workouts I've attended. Plus, the industrial atmosphere of the venue of an old factory building is a vibe. Would recommend trying it out to anyone.

I started with Trufit at the beginning of 2020 without ever having stepped into a gym or a weight room before. I immediately felt welcomed not only by the instructors, but by other members as well. The instructors themselves are hands on and encouraging whether it is your first time or millionth time walking into a class. And the classes are actually fun! Whether it’s boxing or core training, the circuits are always different and done with a lot of thought and considerations.

I can’t begin to say enough nice things about TRV fit. I discovered this gym by accident at Lululemon doing a free workout. I was engaged by the HITT style workouts. I go 3x per week now as a full on member. I feel myself getting stronger. The community here is wonderful with supportive instructors that care. Plus nice, new equipments and kettlebells.
