It’s funny how people report on this company because of an HBO documentary. Lord knows those are Never one sided and always speaking truths. We have been there for 4 years now. We have not had a lick of problems. We enjoy all the coaches there. Maybe the reason you wrote a negative review is because your child wasn’t good enough and you were living a pipe dream through your child or maybe you thought they should be in the Olympics. I’m guessing it’s one of those things I mentioned. There are no participation trophies, buckle Up and work. I do know one thing for sure, there are always going to be negative people out there. I used to be on the competitive gymnastics team a few years ago. The coaches mainly the owner of the gym were rude and disrespectful, if I felt scared of a skill they told me to get over it and just do it anyway which causes injuries to the gymnasts. They would call girls names all the time and there would be at least one girl crying every single day. If a girl was crying they'd call her a cry baby and even get the other gymnasts to join in. The parents of my teammates were even worse, if I got a better score than their children they would scream at their kids as to why they didn't get a higher score than me. The mentality the coaches put on their team is awful, if you didn't get first place you'd be punished for it, either by extreme yelling or excessive conditioning. They are putting their gymnast's body through painful torture lasting several hours. I get that conditioning is needed as to not get injured, but 3 hours of it at a time is absolutely absurd.

Really love taking our 3 year old to Twistars. She has improved a bunch, and looks forward to class every week. Her coach, Joyce, is the absolute best. She is patient and energetic, yet really focuses on having all the kids give their best effort. Love it!

I used to take classes here at a young age and thought it would be the perfect place to take my sister to work on her skills for cheerleading gymnastics. Once the coaches there found out we were cheerleaders they were extremely rude to us, basically telling my 12 yr old sister that everything she was doing is wrong. I used to love coming here when I was in high school to work on my skills but I will never be coming back here again.

Twistars camp was the most well-run, productive camp my daughter has ever been to. She loved the focus on basic skills and shaping, and was able to take what she learned back to our home gym with her. I thought the camp staff was impressive. They were focused on the girls and gave 100% (all it takes is all you got, right?). I would like to give special recognition to Tanya in your office. We brought a group from our gym in Ohio, and anytime we had a question, Tanya was there with an answer. She was always kind and professional. I am sure we will be back next year!

My 3 year old daughter just had her second class at Twistars this week. She absolutely loves it. She did some tumbling classes elsewhere before, but it was nothing like this. It is a fight to get her to leave after class is done; she wants to stay and do it all again. Her instructor is amazing and has the patience of a saint to teach a class full of 3 and 4 year olds. We are so happy we found Twistars and can't wait to see what she learns in the future.

My daughter came to the summer camp. I was really impressed with how the staff was with my daughter and also to me. The never made her feel like she couldn't do anything. There was always room for everyone to do gymnastics. The coaches and equipment were top notch. I wish we lived closer to go here. We came to Twistars in August 2012 after moving from Tennessee. My daughter had been a competitive gymnast there and was eager to join a new gymnastics club. I knew that Twistars had a great reputation and a number of people had recommended them to me. Despite all that, I was unprepared for how much we would love it. Coming here was like getting upgraded from a coach seat to first class. Certainly the facility is amazing, as anyone can see, but what truly makes Twistars great is the people. From my first phone call to our first day at the gym I found enthusiastic people willing to answer all our questions. The coaching staff have brought out the best in my daughter, personally and athletically. I could certainly rave about how good the coaching staff is at training my daughter to be a premier gymnast, and they are phenomenal, but even more remarkable is how much they care. I can see how much they owners and coaches care about all the gymnasts, and that is not something you find everywhere. Thank you so much to everyone at Twistars for all that you, we couldn't ask for more.
