I took a class with Mari and it was genuinely one of the best yoga classes I’ve ever taken. The studio is the perfect relaxing setting, Mari’s cues were gentle and very descriptive, and she provided multiple modifications as needed. 10/10 experience

I’ve been with this space for 5 years and it remains spiritually grounded while it incorporates innovative accommodations, styles, and tools. I love bringing friends here. There are a wide range of class options for whatever kind of yoga someone needs at the moment. I love that the founders are integral to the culture, they are so twined with Zion Well’s energy. Especially love that they continue to expand their own practice and share their learnings in class. Proud to be of this community.

Art and Aubrey are not only incredibly warm and inviting, but also have a deep knowledge of how bodies move and function. I appreciate their very unique approach to yoga, they lead from a place of curiosity—it's so refreshing. I keep coming back to their classes because I know I'll leave feeling better than when I came in!

Walking into the studio, I always feel a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately puts me at ease. As someone relatively new to yoga, I’ve appreciated the opportunity to explore the variety of classes offered, each providing a unique approach to movement, mindfulness, and relaxation. The instructors are supportive, make it easy to feel comfortable and motivated, regardless of my experience level. It’s been an enriching journey, and I look forward to deepening my practice here.

Best yoga studio in Ann Arbor. Art and Aubrey have created a welcoming, kind, clean and calm space for anyone - seasoned yoga folks or new. Teachers are kind and knowledgeable, the studios are beautifully maintained, the people who go are friendly and welcoming. Definitely not 'treadmill yoga' which is a welcome difference in the Ann Arbor yoga scene.

Magical: Beautiful and delightful in such a way to seem removed from everyday life. My experience at Zion Well has been magical. Though it has become part of my everyday life, each class is an opportunity to step away, re-center, and emerge in a better place than when I went in. My journey at Zion Well began with an amazing breath workshop followed by the unlimited monthly intro trial. During the intro, I tried every class offered at the Ann Arbor location. Working remotely, I was seeking connection and movement. The instructors: Emily, Vinnie, Mallory, Jess (x2), Lauren, Julie, Will, Chelsea, Aubrey and Art are warm and welcoming. I even feel connected when traveling and joining classes remotely (a much-appreciated offering!). In addition to the fantastic teachers, I enjoy practicing alongside of encouraging and delightful human beings. Beyond the intro package, the unlimited monthly options are motivating and provide a tremendous value. There is certainly something magical happening at this studio!

I moved to town recently and Zion Well has quickly become not just my home studio, but my community. Every class is special and feels like a gathering of friends, even if it's your first time. And there's something in the schedule for whatever you need that day, from Vinyasa to Yin to Restore!

I love Zion Well! Art and Aubrey have helped create a beautiful space where I have found a community I didn't realize I needed. As a trans masc non binary person, I find it can sometimes be hard to navigate new public spaces. But with Zion Well I don't remember feeling that usual strain or discomfort in any class or with any instructor. There are a wide variety of teachers coming from many backgrounds, so there is always a myriad of classes to choose from. Sometimes I need a high intensity class, other times I need the stillness and inward reflection meditation can offer. They also have regular lower intensity classes, and classes that focus on a variety of yoga teachings/styles including pranayama, ashtanga, hatha, and restorative postures. No matter which class I take, I feel empowered to be mindful of my body and what I need, regardless of the cues being given. Sometimes I need to hang out in a forward fold during the flow and that's ok! The other thing I truly love about this community are the people we have met. I love coming to class and saying hello to everyone, catching up, and meeting new folks!

After checking out just about every yoga studio in the area I can assure you Zion Well is the best one in Ann Arbor/Ypsi. My spouse and I have been going to Zion Well 3 times a week or more for over a year now. Their Ypsi location has huge glass doors overlooking Ford Lake, and the sunset classes are to live for. The AA location is a bit larger with a clean Scandinavian design. My favorite part is they are bipoc, lgbtq, fat, and age inclusive. They even offer partial scholarships to bipoc, lgbtq, and single parents for their Yoga Teacher Training. The new client special for a month was just enough time to try every class style and instructor. In addition to the wide variety of classes offered regularly, they also lead several focused workshops on numerous topics like the warrior series, backbends, grief, and inner child connection. Every June they put on a donation based pride event at the park and the proceeds go to Ozone House. Periodically they host sound baths and 1 day retreats at the studio that include yoga, lunch, a sauna, conversation, and an extra activity. We look forward to joining them on a longer retreat somewhere around the world one day, wherever they go next! Joining the Zion Well community has been indispensable for my physical and mental health and I can't say enough good things about them.

I have been to many yoga studios over the years (including all the ones in Ann Arbor!) and since first walking in the door I knew Zion Well was special. Zion is more than a yoga studio, it truly is a community fostered with loving attention by Art and Aubrey. Zion is a space where everyone is welcomed and we are all challenged mind, body and spirit by the variety of practices offered. I could not recommend Zion Well more as a place to not only feel supported physically, but spiritually as well.

Finding Zion Well and becoming a part of the community has truly been the highlight of my 2023. Art, Aubrey, and all of the teachers have come together to create a very supportive and welcoming community for all. The classes have pushed me in ways no other yoga classes have before, with each style providing something different but wonderful. I couldn’t recommend Zion Well enough to anyone looking to start/continue their yoga journey

Zion Well provides so much more than just a basic yoga flow. There are lots of class options for different levels and needs, and I always feel empowered to trust my body and where I'm at with all of their instructors. But even more than that, Zion Well really is a community grounded in love and healing - their classes and messaging genuinely feel like therapy for my soul. It's clear that Art & Aubrey care about cultivating a space built on their values and that everyone can feel welcome and cared for in their space.

Zion Well Ann Arbor is such a beautiful space for anyone who wants to slow down and connect to their breath. Art and Aubrey have created an inclusive, welcoming space that radiates love and acceptance. Regardless of one's experience practicing yoga, ZW offers classes for all levels and the instructors always offered modifications and variations of poses to help makes classes accessible for everyone. ZW isn't just yoga; it's a community, a family. If you're in the Ann Arbor area, I highly recommend stopping by for a yoga or meditation class.

I have practiced at most of the other studios in the area and this by far is my favorite! Art and Aubrey's care and passion for yoga and the people who practice their studio is at the root of the work they do. Their classes (regardless of instructor) are grounded in compassion and empathy. If you are looking for a release, to destress, and grow stronger not only physically but mentally too, I encourage you to try out a class for yourself. Also the space is gorgeous! a mini rest oasis right in between ypsi/arbor.
