This is a basic gym with basic lifting and cardio equipment. They keep it clean and when I have addressed an issue they have taken care of the concern promptly.

As for expense it is not bad for a facility open 24/7 for you to go to. I find that a real nice benefit. Also being able to use other facilities in the chain is an awesome benefit. I like to mix it up a bit and use other facilities from time to time.

Most are very clean and well kept and although I do not always like similar equipment between facilities the benefit out weighs the cons at this point.

4 stars because there are not any hangers in the bathroom at this facility to getting ready for your work out can be a pain.

I have been going to the Moorhead Anytime Fitness for almost a year now and it is the best gym I have ever been to!! It is very spacious with a lot of newer (and very well kept and clean) equipment. I’m always excited to go and work out because of the nice and spacious area and the friendly staff there that make me feel safe and supported throughout my weight loss journey that I’ve had this past year. I’ve lost almost 100 pounds and it’s truly thanks to the support I feel there from the trainers, staff, and other gym members! Would highly recommend this gym!!

0 star actually. Please don’t be so dumb to sign up for this gym. It does not provide enough equipment for members compared to the high membership fees that we are being charged. On top of that, the process to cancel a membership is unnecessarily complicated and restrictive. Right now, I am in a situation where I have to “bite the bullet” and continue paying for a membership that I cannot use. This is unacceptable

Take the comments about management being disrespectful very seriously. It was such an uncomfortable feeling walking in and being greeted with awkward faces and groaning over having to look into the account I was looking at. They had nothing set up. I guess they weren’t answering their phones because they were closed for two weeks. I didn’t get any discount on payment for these closed weeks either. Planet Fitness has been great and I highly recommend trying them if you’re having issues with this gym. Anytime fitness has been unprofessional and I hope they can get some training to help them improve their customer service!

In general, a very good gym. Staff is friendly. There's a good variety of equipment (plenty of cardio, but mostly just one of each type of strength machine, so can get backed up when busy). Generally pretty clean, too.

My critique is mostly of the other gym goers. Lots of weight dropping, people not wearing shoes, not wiping down machines or weights, and taking 10+ minutes between sets without swapping out. It's a 24 hour gym, so I know the staff is limited in what they can enforce, but I wish they'd do more.

Terrible experience attempting to simply cancel a membership. I’ve had multiple other locations and clubs sah they could help me over the phone had I been a home member there, not here. Absolutely milk you every last dollar they can. Rogena was the manager, so that’s who this review is based on.

I initially had issues with my key fob not working at other locations after signing up at Anytime Fitness in Moorhead, MN. It was frustrating, especially since I'm currently traveling in Canada. However, the staff at Moorhead were very helpful and persistent in resolving the problem. Now, my key fob works perfectly, and I'm back to enjoying the gym. Great customer service!

Check your bank statement carefully, I belong to AF in Duluth,MN and after visiting the Moorhead AF one time ,they transfered my membership to their club without my permission. And had been taking $26 approximately every month from my account for over 5 years, you got it $1800 plus and they refuse to refund it !

They sold my overdue balance of nearly $400 to collections DESPITE the fact that I was well past my 12 month contact and was on a month-to-month arrangement and they refused to cancel my membership. First they wouldn’t allow me to cancel unless I came into the gym, I live three hours away. Then after my billing cycle came they refused to cancel my membership until I resolved my past due balance??

That’s a joke, if I’m on a month to month arrangement I should be able to cancel my membership at anytime and you can bill me what is owed, not refuse to cancel my membership and let me accrue hundreds of dollars in overdue balances despite many attempts to cancel before that.

Any self respecting business would accommodate their members and offer a resolution, not refer to some fine print on the bottom of the contract binding me to cancel my membership in person, in the facility I’m which I started my membership? Anytime Fitness LLC extorted me for hundreds of dollars knowing fully well I have had no access to their facilities for nearly 8 months.

Anytime fitness? More like you can’t cancel anytime fitness. I was a loyal member for almost two years and they refused to work with me to resolve this. I would encourage everyone to support their local gym proprietors before giving their money to this large corporate giant who cares nothing about their members.

My husband and I really enjoyed having a membership here but are extremely disappointed with trying to end our membership. This has been the worst process. I typically do not write reviews but do not want anyone else to have to go through this process. We signed up for an 18 month membership and completed the 18 months. We now live in another city and have chosen to not continue with our membership with anytime fitness. I tried ending our membership at a location in our new town, I called 3 times before I spoke to someone from the Moorhead location, and then they requested that I send a certified mail letter stating why I wanted to leave the membership which they received in August. They are still charging me in October even though I have been trying to end my membership since early July/ August.

The staff is amazing!! The equipment is always in good conditioning. Their training instructors put their trainees on a great course based upon their individual needs and goals for better fitness and well being.

I recommend this location 110%. Clean for sure! And provides what you need to clean up after yourself too. This location will always be my favorite gym. Hands down.

This gym literally stole from me by withdrawing amounts that were not authorized multiple months in a row despite numerous phone calls and voicemails that were never returned. Then they ended my membership and never told me they restarted it. Three months later, I began receiving phone calls from a collection agency about my overdue membership fees and said if I didn’t pay it they would proceed with collections. I am paying a lot of money for the mistakes THEIR STAFF made. If you want to join this gym be aware that no one will answer the phone or call you back, the turnover is extremely high, and they will take whatever they want out of your account - even if you did not authorize it.

I have nothing bad to say about this specific Anytime Fitness. It is conveniently located less than five minutes from where I live, which is awesome. The equipment is top notch, and there is a large variety of it as well. There's also a good amount of open space in this gym if you want to do your own workouts on a mat. I've taken advantage of their small group personal training, too, which I've really come to love. I've had to switch trainers a few different times, but each one has been wonderful to work with and I get a lot out of our workouts! So happy I joined this gym. :)

Won a two-week trial from the wedding show, or so we were told I think they do this for everyone. Also was included tanning only got to do 3 days of it since my key fob stop working for for the tanning part and couldn't talk to anybody since I work late and no one workerd are there after 5. I'm one to watch out for scams to get you locked in and my fiance had mentioned to the lady if I couldn't turn my keys in on the last day because life happens would you not lock us in and she said oh yeah we understand no worries. But now they claim we are locked in for 18 months at a way overpriced charge for a small gym. Be careful people make sure you get in writing that if you don't turn them in on the last day you won't be locked in.

The gym is nice but their third party billing bulldog is also a debt collection agency and they try not to let you cancel your membership - actually they refuse to let you cancel even several years after the end of the 12 month agreement term!
