I would like to thank the team at Discover Strength in the Northeast Minneapolis location, specifically Chris, Edwin, Sophie, Teresa, and Lawrence for the amazing service provided to me since February of this year. I originally signed up in 2024 to prepare for the ski season and the DS team has provided so much more! You are always greeted with a smile at the door and pushed as hard as you want them to. They are welcoming, attentive, monitor your safety, ask for constructive feedback, and will leave you feeling stronger than ever after each workout. Thank you, Discover Strength Northeast. I’ve been going to DS since 2009 and love it as much now as I did then!! The trainers at the NE location are stellar! They are highly trained and educated. They are very personable and listen to you about any joint pain or issues they should know about. It’s so easy, too! You don’t have to think about how to set up the equipment.. they keep records and adjust them for you. And, it’s only 30 to 45 minutes a session!! As a woman in her 60’s, I feel it’s critical to keep strengthening my bones to avoid osteoporosis.
I HIGHLY recommend you stop in for an initial assessment!

The trainers are well-trained, educated, and passionately committed to giving their clients the best workout possible, all with great energy and constant encouragement. Scheduling is easy for group, one-on-one or virtual workouts. The studio is safe and clean, social distancing is practiced when needed or desired. The team reacts quickly to address and create workouts for client's individual needs, whether due to injury or special physical conditions. I receive the tough and challenging workout I want each and every session.

Every trainer is the absolute best! They know their stuff and tailor the workout to me and my needs and to how much I’m willing to be pushed. I don’t have time to go more than once a week, but I make gains every progress report and feel great. The best thing is how welcomed you feel every time you walk in the door. I have been a virtual client for three years, but I was in MSP so scheduled my Monday workout in person last week. I had sprained my ankle bad enough it hurt to walk, but Maria was able to tailor my workout so I was able to work every part of my body, and not flex my foot (therefore not hurt my ankle. My whole body workout, with each muscle group reaching failure, lasts only 30 minutes. You have to experience it to believe it. Working one on one with a trainer is a game changer, and achieving better results in 1/3 of the time (working out twice a week) just blows me away. The workouts are not fast, they are intense and efficient, and provide amazing results.

I have been at Discover for only 5 months and I’ve never felt better. The 30 minute workouts are efficient and the trainers have you jumping from one exercise to the next to get the most of your workout that day. What I enjoy the most is the feedback the Trainers always provide during your workout, whether it be about correct form or motivating you to get one more rep in. I highly recommend if you’re a busy person and need a solid strength training session.

I started going to Discover Strength in Fall 2019. I have tried a lot of different group fitness classes around the Twin Cities. Hands down this is the best place for strength training. They create a personalized fitness plan for you, & track your progress every time you train.
The personalization is what keeps me coming back. I started noticing results in about 3 months when going 2x per week. Which is fantastic considering everything else I’ve tried I saw NO results (zip, zero)! I don’t have enough money to do 1:1 training so Ive always done the group trainings and they are still top notch workouts. Any trainer you get there is awesome Maria, Grace, Maddie, and Tyler.
