My wife and I rented a cabin on Lake Francis and wanted a place to get a workout in. This place was perfect and offered a day pass at a reasonable price. Very clean gym and had a good mix of weight machines, free weights and cardio equipment.

Hometown Fitness is a great place to workout, machines are well maintained, clean and well placed. Dumbells and Kettle bells available in weights of 5# on up. Sanitizer wipes are available for cleaning surfaces before and after use. The 24-7 accessibility is a big plus. I'm thrilled that our little town has such a well equipped gym!

Really enjoyed my time at this gym! For the most part it was quiet, and not super busy which I appreciated. My biggest reason for leaving was I just didn’t use it as often as I thought I would. My only “complaint” was that I wish there was a leg press machine. Overall a great place to workout!

Hometown Fitness is one of the best gyms I’ve been apart of. It was really easy to have any issues resolved quickly and I enjoyed that when I went there there was usually only a few people or even the gym was vacant and I was able to use whatever machine or rack I wanted right away and didn’t have to wait for a spot to open up. I love coming to hometown fitness. It checks all the boxes of what I look for in the gym- free weights and being 24/7. I get to the gym around 4am every morning (including weekends) no other place in town is 24/7 anymore that isn’t crazy busy. Eagle lake from our house in mankato takes the same amount of time on the highway as to drive to a local place in mankato. It is usually quiet, clean, and everything you need.

Great small town gym. Away from the college crowd, a good place to get a quality workout without waiting for machines, or feeling insecure. At most there might be 6-7 people in the gym at a time, which is nice so you can get a quality workout in. Definitely not large like the larger fitness chains, but this size is much better. Clean environment and updated machines. Bring headphones as there is not music played in the background. Great gym!

This gym is great in comparison to the forever hectic ones in the Mankato area. It has all the equipment I need for my typical workouts - plus a cool body composition machine and interactive workout mirror. Definitely love that it is open 24/7, too. The machines and other surfaces were always kept clean as well.
