If you're in search of an exceptional yoga experience, look no further than Minneapolis Yoga! This studio is a gem for anyone interested in Bikram Yoga/Hot Yoga or Hot Pilates. The instructors here are truly impressive; they expertly guide you through each sequenced pose while providing insightful tips for subtle improvements that enhance your practice.

The studio itself is well-equipped, featuring ample space for changing clothes, lockers, and a convenient water fill station. After class, the outdoor area is a fantastic spot to rinse off, relax, and hydrate while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Midtown Greenway. It's the perfect way to unwind after a challenging session.

Personally, my Bikram Yoga experience has been transformative. It has played a significant role in my recovery from a torn rotator cuff, carpal tunnel, a rib injury, and stiffness that comes from years of trail running. Whether you're a local or visiting from out of town, I highly recommend checking out this studio. You won't be disappointed! Those poses are magic

All the staff are fabulous. They are a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. Hot yoga is very challenging, but I've noticed massive gains in flexibility and the way my body feels. I most enjoy hot pilates. I have a hyperactive personality, which makes the hot yoga and stillness a challenge, but it makes the hot pilates fun and invigorating! I 😍 this studio!

Sardines, in a word that was my experience on Sunday morning. The β€œcapacity” listed on the website is 35 students per class, and I arrived early to get a corner spot as I am somewhat claustrophobic but LOVE Bikram yoga in general. Another practitioner moved my mat to the middle of the room, and then 1 minute before the class was set to begin we were all forced to move closer together so a couple of teachers could squeeze in, or 37 students in total.

When I began practicing Bikram, people used to be required to have a towel and the studio would "sell" towels to students who did not bring them. A person on one side had a regular mat spilling sweat onto the floor, and the man on the other side, who moved my mat and unapologetically told me he needed room for his mat, although he arrived after me, and continued to grunt throughout class. I kept repeating the mantra, in through your nose your mouth is closed in my mind, and let the heat wash over me. There are almost no true Bikram studios in the Twin Cities and I will be returning, yet was uncomfortable that the majority of the class was clapping as we squeezed to pass capacity. An ideal number for this studio, in my opinion, would be 30 or fewer practicing yogis to reduce the sweat flying from mat to mat.

As a long-term practitioner of Hot Yoga and new resident of Mpls, finding a great studio was critical to me. Mpls Yoga is one of the best studios I have ever been to. Every teacher is highly skilled and brings expertise and wisdom to each class. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is wonderful - as is the beautiful facility. I feel lucky every day I practice in this wonderful studio.

I joined this studio in March of 2020, although I’ve practiced this style of yoga for 18 years. The 90 minute original hot yoga classes work wonders for mind and body. The community is welcoming to all and the instructors are exceptional.

I have been connected to the studio for 20 years. People who go there always talk about what an incredible community it is. I love all the classes for different reasons. Bending my spine in four directions on the regular has changed my life in profound and beautiful ways. The inferno Pilates class is so fun and full body. All are welcome, hope to see you there!

Discovered this studio last spring and it has quickly become one of my favorite things about the Twin Cities. I had been going to a very well known corporate yoga studio for a number of years and had found myself frustrated with the infrequency that the original 26 and 2 hot yoga series was offered - and then only in an abbreviated 60 minute form - so finding out about Minneapolis Yoga was a revelation for me. The full 90 minute 26 and 2 series is offered multiple times daily, making it far easier to commit to a regular practice than at other studios. The studio space itself is calm and does not feature distracting music during the classes, and the overhead lighting is very soft and not at all glaring, making it possible to really reap the mediative benefits of this practice. Most importantly, the level of instruction here is second to none. The instructors are all incredibly knowledgeable and offer instructions that will ensure you will grow in your practice as you continue to show up. The vibe and community of this studio is very warm and welcoming as well. This place is a gem.

I just started going to hot yoga and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! I'm 59 and I wondered if I would be able to do it. Yes, I can, and it feels so good to me, my body and being loves it. Every instructor I've had: Steph, Sarah, Julie and Sheri are, each one of them, extraordinary, knowledgeable, skillful, and kind and I respect them as practitioners very much.... I am learning so much from each of them and can't wait to meet the other instructors! This is a wonderful place and community. I feel really grateful. Thank you, you guys!

I completed my first hot yoga class at Minneapolis Yoga recently. The studio is very inviting, from the music to the way the place is decorated. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing, with a peaceful sense of calm, as one would expect with a yoga studio. The teachers are very knowledgeable and as someone new to yoga I felt very welcomed and even encouraged throughout the session. This was a great experience overall and I highly recommend the studio to both new and experienced yogis.

I've been to a handful of bikram studios across the country and this is the best (along with the Fort Collins, CO studio) I've experienced. They stick to the script, the studio is clean, the people are friendly and there's no hint of the cultish, unfriendly yoga atmosphere you run into at other studios. HIGHLY recommend to beginners looking to whip themselves into health and expert practitioners alike.

I'm from out of town, but I'll be dropping into this studio every time I'm visiting the Twin Cities.

Hunter is spectacular.

I have been practicing at Bikram Minneapolis for almost two years. I've seen the reviews about the smelly room- and totally agree, it used to stink. But, they have recently installed new carpet and have a new cleaner and the smell is so much better. Of course it still has an odor, what do you expect? There's a zillion people sweating in there everyday. I've practiced at three other studios around the country and this is BY FAR THE BEST! In addition to the excellent instructors, there is an awesome, supportive community that is nurtured by the owners. Get over the potential smell, and give it a shot. It's life changing.
