Just returned from the Studio 1 yoga retreat in Chiang Mai Thailand led by Sarah M. It as a lovely time of daily meditative yoga, cultural activities in the area and delicious meals. The Aleenta Retreat Center was a quiet, beautiful space with great staff and massage services. It enriched my life and I gained new yoga friends. Sarah does a great job making sure everyone feels comfortable. I would totally recommend Studio 1 retreats!

I love Studio One Yoga for the classes they provide and the amazing instructors. I particularly like the community feel and the come as you are attitude. Whether you have been practicing for a long time or just getting into yoga you will find a class for you!
I particularly love the retreats that are offered. I have been on the Greece trip last year and just arrived back from the Thailand Retreat. Sarah does a beautiful job planning for a relaxing and adventurous trip. I love being part of a like minded group of people and sharing these experiences with them.

We had the absolute pleasure of practicing with Alli Hafner from Studio One in Stillwater for our outdoor yoga season, and we couldn't be more grateful!

Alli brought such a calm, grounding energy to our session, and her guidance was both clear and encouraging—perfect for all levels. She has that rare ability to make everyone feel comfortable while still gently challenging us to grow in our practice. Her presence, knowledge, and genuine care created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere.

Practicing yoga outside can come with its own set of challenges, but Alli adapted seamlessly and made each experience feel intentional and connected—with nature, with breath, and with ourselves.

Would highly recommend Alli to anyone looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and inspiring yoga instructor. Thank you, Alli, for such a wonderful session—we hope to be able to practice with her again!

So thankful I found a studio offering 26 & 2! This practice is amazing for my spine and posture, plus it’s a game-changer for handling stress. It keeps me present, teaches me to embrace discomfort, and shows me it’ll pass—skills that stick with me throughout my day.

So disappointed in this place. arrived 1 minute late (yes, I checked my watch) and was met with locked doors. The sign on the door says that doors need to remain unlocked during business hours but if you then dig into their website you'll see that they do not allow any grace period, not even a single minute?really?

This is a paid class. Things happen in life that can make you one minute late. Is this really yoga like? Is this how we treat people trying to come to practice? By locking the door?
If this is how it works, PLEASE PUT A SIGN AT THE DOOR letting people know that doors lock.

This was a 9:30am class on a Monday with Erika. I was so excited I bike here from home.
Unfortunately I won't be coming back as this is just not it.

Rachel is absolutely an angel. I have gone twice and feel so at peace after a busy week. I live downtown Minneapolis and work in the western suburbs, but happily will make the trip to Studio One downtown Stillwater. My body feels so tranquil and happy; love the rooms with their calming colors, aromas, and music. The warm classes are my favorite-they challenge you in just the right amount. You will walk out feeling proud that you showed up to your mat. A nice walk around downtown makes it even batter afterwards.
Thank you, Rachel!

Love this place!!! I've tried out a few yoga studios and have come to call S1 my home. I primarily go to Stillwater, but have also been to White Bear Lake, and love the flexibility of being able to go to either. Their spaces are so restful and relaxing. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and inspiring. They offer a wide range of classes for all levels, from gentle yoga to hot 60 and advanced workshops. Such a great community of people. Highly recommend!!

I am so glad I made the time to take a Hot Yoga class with Dariush at Studio One Yoga. I was a total newcomer, just traveling through but still felt welcome and part of the community (this is a nice feeling to have, even on vacation). The class itself was fun, challenging and inspirational. If Tony Robbins was a yoga teacher, he would probably teach like Dariush does - super inspirational, well planned and make you feel like being the best person you can be! Thank you for a great class and keep up the good work!

Awesome studio. Great for those familiar with yoga. I'm not sure that I would recommend for a complete beginner. The hot yoga classes are fantastic.

I've had the opportunity to take classes with several instructors (Steve, Rachel, Nancy, Sarah, Dar) and they are all amazing and unique in how they guide the class. There is never a lack of variety. Unlike some other bright/loud/chatty studios, this one is calm and relaxing, which I really appreciate. I truly feel stress melt away as soon as I enter. Everyone is so welcoming, and no matter your skill level, this can be your place. I thank the stars that this place exists.

I never leave disappointed from Studio One Yoga. Every instructor offers something unique. There are classes if I need to be challenged or classes that help me refocus on slowing down and restoring. The classes are not cookie cut like other places. It is a local business which I love to support. It's a little piece of heaven in Stillwater.

LOVE Studio One Yoga. There is no doubt a unique community has been created through this studio, but one that is always welcoming and open to newcomers and reaches FAR past the confines of this intimate space. It is a safe, loving and nurturing studio where individuals of ALL skill levels can show up with wherever they're at in life AND in their Yoga practice and practice with acceptance and non-judgment. I believe they are the pillar of what a Yoga space and community SHOULD be, inviting and embracing of all who enter. Every town should be so lucky to have a place like this in their midst. They're changing lives and SHARING this space with EVERYONE, without question.

I have absolutely fallen in love with S1! I'm typically the type that prefers an aggressive workout and found myself binging on different work out regiments, never sticking to one thing. My original perception of yoga was one where I didn't consider it a legit workout - until S1. I have never sweated so much in my life - it's great (and disgusting!) They have a great variety of classes and instructors which keeps it interesting; regardless of your experience they know how to challenge you. Can't say enough about this place - it's definitely worth a try.
