Small but fairly well equipped gym, it has everything you need to get a good workout. The equipment is in good shape and I've never had to wait to access what I needed. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Great gym when itβs not swarming with people standing around loitering at benches, machines, cables, etc. Just not enough equipment to go around a lot of times.

Walked in to use the mom and child workout room. I didnβt have an appointment. But a lady did at 10:30. It was 10:33. So I said so sheβs not here and the lady with blue hair said we usually wait 5-10 minutes. Looking at the clock on the wall which said 10:40β¦ I was like okay my phone says 10:33β¦ which time do you go by? She said my Apple Watch. Are you kidding me lady? The boss then said you get 15 minutes past your appointment β¦ okay. Wonderful management.

Kinda small gym has the basics free weights go up to 100. Doesnβt have 24/7 access and the gym that does is closed until August 2025.

There are things to like and to dislike about this gym. I'll start with the dislikes. There isn't a ton of equipment here, so even of it isn't too busy, you'll feel the lack of equipment. Secondly, besides tow rooms (which are the most important and I'll talk about in my likes) this is a small gym. Narrow hallways, a small bathroom and lockers, cardio equipment shoved into a corner. But I do like the variety of the equipment. If you want to row, hyperextension, cables, crossfit, chest, legs, dumbells, it's all here. And the weight floor is huge and spacious (wish they had more on it). Plus the aerobics and calisthenics room upstairs are very nice and spacious with plenty of mats and other support equipment. It's not bad, but it's not great. It works well with the triangle gym to fill your needs.

Very obvious that they donβt clean whatsoever. Iβve been going for over 3 months now and they have not even taken the time to vacuum, let alone deep clean some of the equipment. Some of the equipment has even been out of order for who knows how long- when I asked about it, they told me they donβt know when itβs going to be fixed, and it was the only stair stepped in the whole gym.

Dragon Fitness Center: where dreams of a perfect workout space go to slightly fizzle. I got there at 6 am, hoping for some peace and quiet, and boy, did I get it. Not a soul in sight, almost like they knew the place was missing some essentials. Letβs talk equipment. No pec deck, no dip bar β it's like they want me to improvise my workout with sheer willpower. Sure, they had plenty of Smith machines and bench presses, enough for everyone to avoid awkward waits. A few leg machines, like the vertical and horizontal leg press, were there too. Throw in a chest press, a weighted row machine, and pull-up bars, and youβve got a semi-decent setup. But really, no resistance bands in the aerobics room? They had more cardio equipment than a hamster's paradise. They had some gymnastics bars for dips, but it was so narrow you might as well use it as a coat rack; not made for thick boys like me. The large pad for calisthenics and kettlebell workouts was a nice touch, though. If only theyβd scrap half the cardio machines and make Dragon Fitness the mecca for lifting, leaving Blake Gym to deal with all the cardio guys. Seriously, a little reorganization wouldnβt hurt. Push-up blocks for negative push-ups were a nice touch. All in all, itβs a decent place if youβre not too picky about having the right tools for the job. Just donβt expect too much and bring your own resistance bands.

I wish they werenβt soo concerned with attire. Shorts move when a person is squatting and people should be given the time to adjust. The concern should be on safety and not on policing someoneβs shorts right after they finish squats.

The best gym on this base. Which is sad because this gym doesnβt have a lot. Or maybe Iβm spoiled. A lot of racks but not enough benches. Dumbbells start at 50lbs and goes up to 200 I think. Thereβs a big rig in the middle for CrossFit. Basically, if youβre into body building/powerlifting or CrossFit. This gym is your best bet.

Overall very good gym for doing Cross fit or circuits type training. Well worth visiting, just avoid the busy PT times.
Pros: Extensive range of Cross Fit equipment, kettle bells, exercise bands, jump ropes. Menβs locker area small but more than adequate when not too busy. Great staff.
Cons: Limited machine weights and cardio machines. Also limited barbell options for heavy lifting as most of the βplatesβ are overly large...concrete perhaps?

Seems like mostly a cross fit orientated gym. That not a bad thing but not my cup of tea.
There are a few cardio machines and weight machines that you can use. This place does not get as busy as Blake FC so it can be a relaxing experience.
