I had an amazing experience at Gulf Coast Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu during my vacation! The atmosphere was fantastic—everyone was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The facility was top-notch, and I especially appreciated the option to train in no-gi. If you’re looking for a great place to train while traveling, I highly recommend this gym!

Highly recommend Gulf Coast Jiu Jitsu! Especially for law enforcement/first responders. Coach Lisa is very patient and thorough with her instruction and makes sure you have the skills/knowledge necessary to save your life on the streets. This is also perfect for women who need self defense lessons and children who need to channel some energy and learn to defend themselves against bullies!

Coach Lisa and her staff are absolutely amazing. As a mother, watching them learn and grow not only in this skill, but also as little humans is invaluable. She goes out of her way to make them feel included and comfortable, but she also is clear that they are there to work. She pushes them in the best way to be active participants and strive for the best in themselves. We absolutely love our experience here.

I highly recommend this gym. The coach, Lisa, is a great person and an even better instructor. She is great at explaining what she is teaching and has no problem attempting different ways to better insure you understand when you're struggling to grasp something.. the schedule for her classes are great and always changing and providing more availability! Also the assistance she gets with the kids classes (the adult classes too) is finaminal!
Another note, this gym is "ADOPT A COP" friendly and is a great environment for law enforcement and military!

I was on the fence about doing bjj, but my husband convinced me to give it a try. After meeting Lisa and training with her a couple of times I was hooked. The other people who attend are absolutely fantastic and Lisa is one of the best instructors and mentors I have met. Highly recommend giving her a call and trying at least one class.
