Ridgeland location - nice renovations and lighter open look in foyer with check in. More new equipment, and duplicate machines, and 2 back extension machines - my favorite back machine for back pain and stretching. Happy to see a whole line of stair stepping machines. Looking for the 30 min workout with all the machines in a row - will ask next time. They may still be finishing up some areas not sure. More open areas for training and weight lifting on side areas.
Brandon location - great - when go there with brother - still has that 30 minutes workout section.
I 55 Jackson - cool when I go there to meet others, but I think it has more people at high peak times there on certain popular machines.
I try to work out 2 to 3 times a week at any of the Planet fitness gyms or on work out machine available in a home setting.

As a black card member I love that I don't have to commit to a workout every day. When my body needs a rest, I can choose from massage chairs or hydromassage to relax. When I need to get my cardio in, all the equipment is available, along with routines easy to follow in the app. They have everything you need here, whether you're a beginner or professional.😀

Ridgeland planet fitness is the absolute best of all other planet fitness gyms. They’ve definitely stepped up by adding more new equipment such as a free weight section. By doing this, they are now ahead of their competitors. Although I live in Clinton, I still make the drive to ridgeland because they simply have better equipment to work with. They understand that if you want to get more members and a full gym, you need to be versatile. They get it. I wish all planet fitness ( Clinton) , would adopt this concept!!

A few months would be close to 1 year I have been going to the Lake Harbour, Ridgeland location. Staff has always bee available, helpful, and friendly. New renovations are currently underway, and I love that there will be more equipment. Stays open 24/7 which works not only works amazingly with my schedule but I’m sure for others as well! Highly recommended !

I have been coming here a good while almost 10 years. I left for a while and came back. I recently came back and I noticed that the place changed. For some reason they got rid of all the exercise mats. They told me they didn’t look attractive. Of course, they only have four mats in a whole building. Which makes it almost impossible to stretch before you work out. Seems like y’all would at least get some more mats before you got rid of the mats you had. So now they’re a total remodeling. I go in tonight. Of course there are still no mats. Every single section of black card is blocked off. As I’m walking to the door because I can’t work out tonight. I’m mumble this place is screwed up. Then some guy and a white shirt sitting at the front stops me and says what man? I say this place is screwed up first I’ll take all the mats. And now you can’t even work out in here. He says we gotta do the remodel I said, but do you have to close everything off at once? The thing is why not just let me leave why stop me and cop an attitude about the whole situation. It appeared that was the man in charge. Came off like a smart ass. Tells me he can do it one month rather than three. How about instead of looking at his needs. He should consider the people that’s paying the bills up there. There’s no need to shut every section of the place off and I’m not gonna sit on that nasty floor and stretch. The thing he didn’t understand was there gyms all over town I’m probably gonna be looking around and making a change. And I wouldn’t made this decision. If the guy with the gel in his hair and the white shirt let me leave and wasn’t such a smart ass I understand that Planet Fitness is a corporation. But people are sick and tired of being treated by the corporate model. We’re not just a number. We can choose where we spend our money. I don’t know, but if this is the guy calling the shots. I got a good feeling this is probably why the place is like it is.

Well almost three months later. I am still paying black card price and getting no black card service. Wow how long should I pay for something I don’t get. How long would you pay for something you don’t get. ????

I am an OTR driver committed to fitness and a PF Black Card member. I visit lots of facilities and this one is by far one of the best I have frequented. The check-in associate was very nice and the facility very roomy and clean—especially the women's locker room and shower; despite the ongoing construction. I will definitely visit again when I am in the Jackson, MS area. Keep up the good work PF—makes me a proud member 😊

When I get on their bike and cycling machine the straps on them aren't helpful on keeping and holding your feet on the peddles while you're peddling the bike or cycling machine especially if you have your shoes on, they need better straps for the bikes and cycling machines equipment that way our feet could stay on not slide off the peddles and it doesn't make it harder to peddle while having our shoes on and the adjustment straps don't really help while you have your shoes on.

Been a member for 5 years. The quality has steadily decreased to terrible and unbearable. Management refuses to return calls. Management won’t allow employees to change the temp in the building, it was 52 degrees in there this morning, way too cold for a workout. And you better be wearing a down coat if you go in the 30 minute workout room. There is absolutely no sense it being so cold in there and refusing to run the heaters. There are maybe 10-15 treadmills that the belts don’t slip so bad that you can't run. All of the others are junk and no upkeep is done on them at all, after multiple complaints and seeing people fall from the loose belts on them the manager still refuses to repair anything.
The crew that comes in at 6am is the only crew that does anything work wise, the other sit in the back closet or hide somewhere else on their phones ignoring people waiting to get in the 2 tanning beds that power up. Before the 6 am crew gets there, there is no paper towels, no soap in showers, no one to let you in the tanning beds (if one of the 2 that aren’t broken are open, 2 have been broken for over a year). There is not one tanning bed in the place that everything works on. Two are broken completely, there are bulbs out in every one of them, one the shoulder lights have been out for 3 years along with 3 flickering lights, and they are disgusting if you pay attention. The red light therapy vibes plate doesn’t work and hasn’t worked in over 3 years. The crew before 6 also has the music so loud you can’t hear your own headphones. Corporate nor management return calls or emails regarding complaints. It is an overall ridiculous operation for the past 3 years, and gets worse every day as more equipment breaks down.

Always a welcome from the awesome folks working the front desk. In this hot Mississippi summer, I forego walking trails and come to PF for the treadmill and it is always a comfortable temperature! It was good, they have alot of cardio machines like treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, rowing machines, as well as alot of weight machines for all muscles, plus free weights and squat area. I had a great workout and if you are a black card member, there is tanning and massage therapy. Try it out if you're looking for a gym or just passing through and have a few days.

It has everything I need. Best Gym experience I've ever had. I have high anxiety and planet fitness has been a Godsend for me. It took me 4 years to walk through the front door because of my anxiety. My daughter asked me for the 100th time did I want to go to the gym with her and I said yes. I go all the time now. The gym experience was awesome and none of the anxious thoughts I had were valid. It's an amazing environment and easy to use all amenities. I love they are open 24 hours so if my OCD anxiety loops are higher during the day, I can always go at night. The people that use the gym and the staff create a friendly cohesive environment. I hope this helps.

Dirty. Poorly maintained. Inches of dust in all the corners. Blow dryers ripped off the walls and not fixed up. It’s a shame - most of the planet fitness we’ve been to are pretty clean. This one has been the worst. There was no one at the front counter the entire time we were there either. There are little notes in the bathroom telling people to clean up after themselves. The irony.

Some if the equipment is dated and wasn't working. They ran out of paper towels. That's good because it shows people were cleaning, but not good because people couldn't sanitize their stations once they finished their workout. I like the fact that it isn't as big as some of the other PFs. I have had better experiences at other locations. It's not terrible. Oh, I was happy to see the clothing drive happening, however, someone needs to organize it better because when you first walk in, it looks like a garbage pile that spilled over. I was very pleased to see PF give back, but I was taken aback to see how stuff was just kinda thrown around.

The gym isn't in the easiest to access location, but then again, I am not from around here. The property is great and the staff is very nice and respectful.

I went once using a day-pass ($20 in location) and I had a good time there. I didn't do a crazy workout, but I felt like I didn't stand out compared to some other gyms I've been to.

Well I go for the shower cause I drive a truck. The shower were nasty had not been cleaned in several days I went in 3 different days and the same shower had not been cleaned and the changing rooms were nasty. I pay for the VIP membership and that is all I use it for. And you can say something and they look at you like you have lost your mind.

Being PF card holders me and my wife like to stop at the different locations for a quick workout when we're passing through. I don't know if this was something out of the ordinary but it was extremely cold here. Too cold to workout, at least for us. It was 47 degrees outside and that felt warmer than inside. Maybe don't run the ceiling fans and the AC when it's that cold? We won't be back.

Really nice local gym. Clean with pleasant staff and music at moderate level. If I had any complaints it would be the mats at the shower are very slippery and the Wi-Fi signal is too weak to check my mail in the parking lot before going in to shower. Open 24 hours! You can get help with fitness if you ask, but nobody bothers you if you don't.

I love the fact that for only $25 a month, I have full access to workout equipment, tanning bed, as well as 2 different full body massages. There's no better deal at any gym. Planet Fitness on Lake Harbor has wonderful customer service. The employees actually know what they're talking about when I ask a question about anything. I am beyond impressed. I give them 10 stars and have referred 2 ppl already in which I'll continue to do so!

I had to cancel my membership because my home gym is 30 miles away, and fuel too much right now. Sadly it kicked me out of the app, even though I have black card still. Advantages: I felt very welcomed by the guys at the registration area (04.28.22 @ 10am). They helped me to adjust and cut my jumping rope (I wasn't able to jump inside the gym though but they still helped my with my equipment). Later, I lost my ring at the gym while exercising and guys at the registration area found it and returned it to me. They were helpful at finding specific spots for my workouts (e.g. a wall where i did handstands) since this was my first time at Planet Fitness and I didn't know where everything was located. Very satisfied and will recommend to my friends.

Disadvantage: No area at the gym where i could jump on jumping rope.
