My experience with Coach Knowles has been fantastic. I am a college athlete and I came to him to get prepared for the upcoming season. The first workout wasn’t to hot 😂 a struggle was an understatement. But as I continued to work with him I felt better and could tell that I was getting closer to my goal after every session and I was beyond ready for my college season. Coach Knowles knows what he is doing and he’s not just some personal trainer who only cares about money, everyone is like a family or a friend to him and we all have good time working out!!!

I usually don’t do reviews. However, I’ve been training here for 3 months and I noticed results after the first 2 weeks. Coach J is amazing at what he does; he really cares about his clients! I want to start off by saying I’ve known the owner of S.E.L.F TRAINING, Jamal Knowles, for going on 15 years now. He has a true deep burning passion for what he does and the effect that it has on people’s lives. When you spend time training with him, you realize his emphasis on the lifestyle and not just the routine of exercise. Due to his own personal experiences, he discovered his passion for what he does and he’s been full throttle ever since. He owns a very conveniently well placed gym in Southhaven, MS that has easy access from Memphis, TN; Horn Lake, MS; and Olive Branch, MS as well. The set up and the color coordination is quite remarkable, and it is loaded with all of the equipment that you need to get in any shape that you desire. If you have the willingness and the drive to put in, he will never short change you. He’s a kind, respectful, and dedicated individual. In my personal opinion, S.E.L.F TRAINING is an amazing facility and an even better addition to our beautiful community!
