Would give 0 stars if I could. Had a membership here for almost a year, signed an 18 month contract. The employee that prepared the contract filled it out incorrectly, instead of my contract ending in October 2024 she incorrectly put October 2023 which is off by a whole year and neither of us noticed at the time. Flash Forward to April 2024 when I’m planning to move and checking the end date on my contract and realize it had ended 5 months prior but I was still being charged. I brought this up management at the gym saying my contract was over and I’d like my account to stop being charged. She spoke with the owner and then told me they would not be willing to end the contract on their side because it said it was 18 months long on the contract which was correct. I argued that the contract contradicts itself and would not hold up in court but the owner, Megan, still refused to end my upcoming payments and said I would be turned in to a debt collector if I blocked any payments. I had also told them I was moving where there wasn’t an Anytime Fitness near me, did move but was a lie because I hate this gym. They told me I needed to proof that my new address was 20+ miles away from an Anytime Fitness to cancel my contract that wasn’t even valid. I told them I definitely wasn’t going to be doing that, instead I went into the gym one morning and demanded to management that my contract be terminated. Took 12 minutes of filming the staff and threatening to post the vid on my large social media accounts before they finally canceled my contract. Megan the owner even threatened to call the police and have me trespassed, while I was a paying customer! Megan is extremely unprofessional and only cares about herself, can’t take responsibility for her own mistakes at all. On top of all that, Anytime Fitness only offers monthly payments on ridiculously long contracts. I also generally think this gym is much more expensive than it’s worth, my Planet Fitness black card is almost a 1/3rd of the monthly cost at Anytime Fitness. The only reason this gym is surviving is because there’s no Planet Fitness in the area and I hope that changes and they’re forced to reconsider things. Definitely don’t recommend this place!

I would like to say that Anytime Fitness in Farmington has very well maintained and highly efficient gym equipment. A VERY clean and organized environment.

There are variety of gym equipment from free weights, machines, a tanning bed to choose from. An optimal amount of space to exercise. Including, an open floor space next door for more privacy to exercise, if need be.

The gym-goers have been friendly and respectful from my experience, thus far. With a healthy and competitive environment for challenge exercises, or activities.

The gym offers a variety of flavors for pre-workouts, protein powders and fitness snacks for when you’re on the go. All offered from a notable fitness company, “1st Phorm”.

I’ve enjoyed my interaction with staff.
Shelly Cook is very knowledgeable and a motivated trainer/fitness instructor that teaches at both, Des loge and Farmington locations for Anytime Fitness.

Courtney Gollaher, the manager for Anytime Fitness in Farmington. Was very pleasant to talk to when discussing my membership. She has a fun sense of humor, very “down to earth”, easy to approach if you have any questions concerning membership options, or accommodation.

I am giving this gym a low rating because it didn't meet my expectations. I had issues with the inflexible contract, hidden fees, and unclear terms. Additionally, I had negative interactions with the owner. I recommend looking into other gyms in the area that might align better with what I'm looking for in terms of flexibility, customer service quality, and fee transparency.

1. My anticipation was for a straightforward cancellation process. However, upon attempting to cancel, I was informed that I needed to settle the remaining two months of my contract along with a $50 fee. This arrangement seems unfavorable, as my previous experiences at various gyms did not involve such rigid terms. Given my current financial constraints due to family issues, that additional $50 per month could have been allocated elsewhere. Improved clarity regarding this policy during sign-up would have been appreciated, considering my growing need for flexibility.
2. This brings me to the next point is the contract feels like they're purposefully trying to find ways to get more money from you by inserting weird, misleading stipulations. I signed a year contract and the first month was free except for a hefty fee charged for the key that was actually similar to a monthly payment. The first month is free except I was actually signing up for 13 months because the first month didn't count I guess?? so I would be paying for an extra month anyways. Then, when I want to cancel, I have to give a 30 day written notice after my contract is complete so that means I'll be paying for another month. So when it's over I'll have paid 14 months when I signed up for 12. There's also a $40 processing fee and a yearly $25 club enhancement fee.
3. The owner is rude and condescending. Just the owner. Anytime I've had to talk to her, I would leave feeling so frustrated and upset because of the way she would talk to me. That's subjective I guess but I do know a few other reviews I've read that said similar things so do with that what you will. I purposely never go during staffed hours because I don't want to see her. I had to go through the MO attorney general to get a copy of the contract I signed because of her. The workers are very nice though.

In summary, my experience with this gym differs significantly from that of other gyms across the country, leading to buyer’s remorse. This gym falls short in terms of consumer-friendliness, particularly in areas such as contract flexibility, customer service, and fee transparency, when compared to my previous gym experiences.

I just finished the 6 week challenge today and I’m so glad I decided to give it a try. It helped motivate me to get my butt back into gear without overwhelming myself. DO NOT give your business to the Farmington branch. The gym is fine, but the management is horrible to work with. With upcoming military orders I thought any decent person would be understanding and allow for an early release from a gym contract, but unfortunately no decent people were found at the Farmington Anytime. My interactions at the corporate level have been very positive, but they have little power over the privately owned individual gyms. Any dispute you may have with ownership will be met with faux-friendly condescension that is much more frustrating to sit through than outright rudeness. Save yourself the headache and just get a membership at the Civic Center.

After explaining numerous times how military orders are not typically issued this far in advance and the timeline of when they would be available, still no release was given. Additionally, my contract was signed on October 21, 2022 which was over 3 months ago. So I've changed my rating on it since its been about a month (going from a 4 star to a 5 star). Place is great to go to if its completely convenient or just want a place to work out. I usually got around the 6pm time or later since not a lot of people are out that late. I like it since its right next to where i work so i can stop by before or after work. Would definitely recommend it if someone's looking for a place to workout. I haven't seen it yet but there are also yoga classes towards winter i believe 🤔.

My daughter and I joined Anytime Fitness at the beginning of March and we love it! All of the staff have been so sweet- especially Danielle! All of the people that we have encountered while working out have been very polite and everyone seems focused on doing what they are there for; it is a very supportive environment. We go most evenings and have never had an issue with not being able to use the equipment we want. Even on the busier days we just rearrange our workout until what we need is available. This is definitely the cleanest gym I have ever been to and I am not sure why there are reviews about broken equipment- I have used it all and everything works just fine! Joining this gym has been one of the greatest decisions we have ever made and we look forward to going every day!!

Was in town for a week trying to find somewhere to get a decent workout. Day passes are $15, that's an outrageous amount when I'm only planning to be there for an hour! Went to the Civic Center not too far away for $6.50. However, the time I was in there (about 2pm on a weekday) there were only two or three others and the equipment seemed clean. I would come here if the prices were more competitive.

Terrible staff, unprofessional and rude. Old torn up equipment and the only mirrors are all blocked so you cannot view your form. Barbells for deadlifts wobble and feel broken. There's a much better gym nearby that is bigger and less cramped.

Staff is very kind, i work late into the morning and after work i go to the gym i almost have all the equipment to myself, maybe because i go in at 2am but its a very nice place. CLEAN,Plenty of equipment to help the fact that i have a jacked up hand, ive been there for a month now, liked it so much i wont go anywere else. I've been going to this gym for over a year now. While it is small it certainly has more than enough equipment and weights for a rigorous workout. The place is always spotless. As for the negitive reviews on here bad mouthing management and the owners? Lol. I have never had a bad interaction with the staff that work there or the owner. Then again I do pay my bill every month and I do clean up after myself and behave like an adult 🤷‍♂️ in short I highly recommend this gym.

I give 2 stars for the equipment being in good shape but the building is small and there is not a lot of machines and when I go is unfortunately a busy time so the machines I normally use are taken, which is fine I just switch up my routine. I don’t give any more than that due to the owner being rude and disrespectful. My husband had a stroke and is no longer able to work so I am the main source of income now and finances are very stretched this of course to a money hungry company means nothing and I did sign a contract (there is no more plain old kindness anymore) so I can extend my contract another three months and they will put the payments on hold but that is all they can do. No problem, I can do that it is better than nothing. The following month I was charged. I call in and talk with the owner and she says I was told to come in and sign paperwork. I tell her I don’t recall being told this, I would’ve come in if I were. I did call about this while my husband was in the hospital 7 hours from home so this might have told to me thinking back on the conversation, but in my defense with everything going on this was the last thing I would remember being told when your husband can’t even say his name. What I did not appreciate was her arguing with me. All my career working with the public I have been taught that even if they are wrong the customer is never wrong and always right and never argue with them for the sake of future business. I get that in some circumstances this is too much to ask but I was not being ignorant I told her I was not mad I simply stated I was not told this. She continued to argue with me then hung up on me. I called back to tell her I didn’t appreciate that at all I am going through enough right and don’t appreciate attitude from her over a piece of paper. I was not even mad or being aggressive just simply stating I will come in and sign this piece of paper (because it’s not like my husband had a stroke and I am now looking for a second job and dealing with all these other important issues). I felt as though she were going out of her way to prove she didn’t have to be nice simply because I signed a contract and she was guaranteed my money no matter what (which is true) ---let me say she never said this it’s just how I feel she was coming across – if someone were to tell me they were going through such a horrible experience I would try to make things as stress free as possible I wouldn’t add to it just for the sake of my pride and knowing I can treat people however I want. No one should be treated as if they are beneath someone else or under their thumb no matter the case. Respect should always be given until it is no longer deserved and people have fallen far from this. Since talking to my husband about this I will not go in and sign as I don’t want to extend my contract any further than it has to and will never go back once it is done. That is why you should treat people with respect to keep them coming back. I know me not going will not break her but it’s the principle of it all.

Very clean and calm environment. It doesn't smell like your normal sweaty gym. It actually smells quite good inside they have good music playing all the time, and everything is always in its right place. After speaking with the managers it seems that place is really well put together and ran very professionally. It's also nice it is 24/7 and it allows you to come anytime you feel like.
