They have shower rooms and bathrooms to change and lockers for your stuff, a variety of equipment to workout different parts of your body. My only problem was that I didn't realize autopay is set in stone and their bill is every two weeks so there's no set day making it hard to calculate when they choose to bill you..
I mentioned I can't get out that far during winter and apparently that wasn't a good enough reason to cancel, medical only.
Everything is handled from their end and they don't like talking. I don't care about a gym contract you don't get to do what you want and not work something out. I'm not paying 3-4 months that I'm not using, block my key card and DELETE MY DEBIT AND PERSONAL INFO

It's very small. No locker room, bathrooms are shared. There's at least cubbies with locks. Pull-up gear is minimal to none. Their office inside is often a mess and disorganized.

I moved from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the Kansas City area already having a AF membership. When I saw that this gym was the closest to me, I decided to ride by and get a workout. By the end of the workout, I began talking with Scott and next thing you know I’ve been having training sessions and cannot begin to express the progress I have made. Garrett (manager) keeps his gym clean and greets every client that walks through the door with a smile! Garrett, Scott, and Nick are all phenomenal trainers. I recommend this location highly!

Clean gym with friendly staff!
I’ve been going here for a little over 3 months and haven’t found anything worth complaining about. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help—whether it’s answering questions, showing proper form (when asked), or helping you find equipment.
The gym community is also great. Everyone I’ve encountered has been friendly and respectful, and I’ve never seen any kind of confrontation.
What’s really impressive is how inclusive this place is—there are regulars ranging from teenagers to people in their 70s. It really feels like a welcoming space for all ages and experience levels.
I love this gym and can confidently say I don’t see myself switching anytime soon.

This gym has failed time and time again. Charging an “enchantment fee” twice a year without notice prior. Very much a scam to go to anytime fitness especially this one! At $29.95 every 2 weeks for a year and including 2 fees of $27 this gym is not at all worth the money spent.

This gym has very new and very nice equipment. The manager here is very kind in fact he let me store a c4 energy drink there overnight. This gym is new it's not the biggest of them all however it is one of the best gyms in Missouri.

Dirty, machines are dusty, you can tell they don’t have a regular cleaner. Shower rooms are always dirty. Minimal equipment for 40+ a month and you can’t even get a guest past without paying for it.

This is a small cozy gym with a caring owner. Coaches and owner are super down to earth and understanding people. The gym is clean. While is so what smaller than most gyms it makes up for it in charm and at home feeling. You will love this gym. Bathrooms are clean and machines are cleaned often. Never had any issues with any equipment. It’s always In Top shape. To the owner: thank you for having a really Awesome and enjoyable gym location! Keep up the good work!

This Anytime Fitness in Independence, Missouri is phenomenal. From how clean the gym is to the customer service, this location has it all. I was met by staff immediately to welcome and greet me into the gym. In this case, Garrett did an amazing job providing me with information on the gym and Anytime Fitness in general. I highly recommend this gym and chain for anyone looking to get a great workout in with a great staff.

I’m loving it here at Anytime Fitness! I have been trying to get my overall health in order and get on track to losing some weight. I reached out by filling out a form online and Garrett the manager reached out to me the next morning! I set up an appt for a tour and was able to get all signed up afterwards. Garrett is a fantastic manger and is very easy to approach should you have any questions or concerns about anything. I also signed up for personal training with Dorian, he’s great, fun and also very knowledgeable and informative about the equipment and figures out a solution to customize a workout routine that works best for you. I appreciate you guys for everything! Most definitely the place for me!

Such a great gym. The staff is very friendly. I was greeted by the manager Gary who was super courteous, helpful, and continuously cleaned the place. Overall, this anytime fitness is smaller than a commercial gym but is better in my opinion because it isn’t crowded, had a great selection of free weights, and had various equipment for atheistic training (i.e. plyometrics boxes, fitness bands, etc.). 100% would recommend this location to anyone.

So far the staff has been great. They are friendly and Jessica the personal trainer is awesome. We always laugh during my sessions with her. She absolutely listens to your goals and set up training sessions according to what you want to achieve.

Couple of unwarranted low reviews, so I’d give this place a shot. Biggest issue is the lack of equipment, specifically the ‘Rig’ which houses cables, pull up bars, seated row, etc.
Its a staple at most gyms. However! They have a sign up asking which equipment they should buy! See my associated picture and text them about getting new equipment! The place is nice and clean and has newer stuff but the small footprint means limited area to spread out.
Its worth your time to go here so long as its not busy, then it’d turn into the obnoxious LA Fitness type scene where you’re constantly fighting for equipment in a smaller space.
They do have a door that must open up in nicer weather conditions so that’d be a plus!

It’s small compared to the anytime I usually go to in Bonner, but has everything you should need. I’m assuming not too many people know this place is open yet because I went during prime time hours (or what’s usually prime time hours in Bonner, 6pmish) and it was empty.

I came to work out and the building was closed contrary to the door it saying 24/7 member access-which is the entire point of Anytime Fitness I could not gain access to the building with my key fob. Very disappointed. I was excited that an AF opened so close to my home as I am used to going to the Liberty, MO location but it's a bit of a drive.
