I’m a senior citizen and have been going to Anytime Fitness for several years now. The personnel there have changed a few times, but they have all been very professional. Currently Megan, the owner and Dave the manager are at the facility. Megan, and Dave are extremely professional, very helpful and always willing to provide assistance. The facility is spotless and there are plenty of disinfectant bottles and clean cloths available for members to use. Everyone contributes in that manner as well. I always feel comfortable working out there and hope to continue to enjoy it.

They don’t honor 1 day free passes at this location. The lady who opened the door for me was less than interested in selling me a membership. I asked her about the pricing and why they charge more than CF, if they have better perks or what. She said they it’s the franchise and that I should go and workout at CF and ask them. She just wanted me out of there. The gym was empty, I wonder how they stay in business.

I’ve been with Anytime Fitness for years. Ive actually performed several build outs for Anytime Fitness across the country. I’ve terminated my relationship with Anytime specifically due to this locations level of customer service. The owner Megan Brown just called me, Everytime I went into explaining for reasoning for leaving she talk over me in conversation , then accused me of yelling. This is not a situation to yell over the phone. It is a gym membership we are discussing. No need to get emotional over a customer being dissatisfied. I have no idea what this ladies problem is. There are several gyms within 3 miles radius of this gym to go to. Dont waste your time at this location. Horrible customer service, limited equipment. Provides bare minimum just to open a location. Planet Fitness, Eagle gym, The Fitness Edge, The J, Center Of Clayton are all better than this location providing better equipment and customer service.

The community makes this gym so great. The club manager, David, and his fitness trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging, and other members are friendly and supportive. It’s a place where someone can be challenged without feeling like a competition. People always leave feeling better than when they walked in.

I work out of town and I enjoy the convenience of Anytime Fitness. I was locked out of using all clubs bc someone at this location stated I "kicked stuff around", didn't clean the equipment, or rerack my weights. I only used machines and wiped down each machine after I was done. I'm not even sure what the kicking stuff even means. I have been to numerous AFs and never had an issue. I'm very disappointed and don't know if I even want the membership anymore.

I just visited this gym once when I was traveling but I did not enjoy it. Be warned if you are sensitive to artificial smells , they have the plug in air fresheners and so the whole place smells pretty strongly, I was just doing yoga but I had a crazy headache the whole time to the point I would not have been able to do more even if I wanted to. Im just glad I dont have asthma.

The sanitizer spray they use is also HEAVILY sented so after I wiped down my mat my hands smell like the spray. I dont appreciate.

In addition, now mind you I visited on xmas eve, there was an old man that kept trying to talk to me and bother me when there were plenty of other men in the gym he could have talked to if he was lonely or something, this was a 1 visit occurrence but I am not sure if that is or is not normal at this location just wanted to put it on here as a warning to other ladies 🫶🏻

The employee seemed nice though, when I left he wished me a good day and a merry xmas. I was going just about cross-eyed with the headache I had tho so I didn’t respond- sorry guy

Anytime Fitness, Olivette, MO, is the worst gym that I have ever been a member of in my over 43 years of gym memberships and working out at gyms.

I have been an Anytime Fitness member over the past 8 years in Dallas and St. Louis. Since the new owner’s took over this Anytime Fitness this past May 1st, 2023, the Anytime Fitness, Olivette, MO has gone downhill.

The new management broke their commitment to me and many other members. Good luck members if you ever think you're getting you money back for the key fob you purchased when you first joined. And when you cancel they may try and continue to bill your credit card or other payment method you used, like they did to me and never refunded me back the money they promised.

We joined Anytime Fitness, Chesterfield, MO about three weeks ago (only about 5 miles away from the Olivette location) its far larger, has a big studio, way more equipment, much cleaner and no charge for me or my fiancee’s key fob.

I would advise anyone to not join Anytime Fitness, Olivette, MO.

My son(high schooler) used this gym over the holiday break, while we were in town and had the best experience! The staff was great and very nice. They even saved him money, by allowing him to do a 30 day pass instead of the day rate, which was less expensive for him. We will definitely be using this gym when we are in town, which is a few times each year. Thanks to the staff and to Anytime! Joe

Megan and her team at literally the best. I’ve been in planets and any times all over the US. Anytime is no planet fitness. Smaller gyms with 24 hour access and tons of accessible help, training tips. Megan’s and her team take that to the next level. Get to know them, and your fitness journey will soar without pressure or feeling like you have to fight for equipment.

Review Part 2:

Once we were able to sit down with the manager face-to-face once again, we were told that we had missed the aforementioned “cancellation window”, despite having marked the given date in our calendar. Very frustrating, but alright, maybe there was a miscommunication. However, due to that, we apparently had to pay another full month, and a “Club Enhancement Total”. We wanted to be done and have some peace of mind at this point, so we bit the bullet and paid what was stipulated. We also triple checked, and confirmed that as soon as this last payment went out, we would NOT be charged any further. A verbal confirmation was given, we signed and got copies of the “Membership Change Form”, which we thought was our “Cancellation Form”, and went on our way. (It wasn’t - it was a “Cancellation Submission Form”, and, as we later found out, was never submitted to corporate at all.)

Recently, we’ve had the pleasure of finding that we have been billed for a full month’s membership, after our signed agreement’s cancellation date. So, since we were tired of being milked for all our worth at this point, we reached out to the Olivette branch location once again, via their Google number, of which went to a “Cannot be completed as dialed”. We tried also calling the number they provided upon signup, to which had no dial tone. So, we called the corporate company that manages Anytime Fitness, to which getting to a representative was tedious. Once we finally got ahold of someone, we explained our situation, and the representative said that she could see that we had paid a cancellation fee, but that the actual “Cancellation Application” was “never submitted” by the location.

So, the corporate representative said that she “manually canceled” our membership, and that she can’t issue us the refund, so we’d have to contact the local branch, this branch, to get our refund, of which should have never gone through in the first place due to their untentional or intentional negligence. We told her that we couldn’t get a hold of them, and we asked if she could provide a phone number different from the unworking Google Phone Number. She provided the same number, that we should have checked, but didn’t, and so, realizing it was the same number that didn't work, tried calling corporate again to ask for a different phone number. We were promptly hung up on. It’s now conveniently going to the same “Call cannot be completed as dialed” when we call that exact same corporate number. We will be blocking future payments.

For future potential members, please reconsider signing up for this gym if you ever plan on canceling in the future. You can find way more affordable memberships elsewhere, with much better and more ethical business practices, and way less hassle should you decide to leave if your situation changes. It’s very clear this company’s motivator is to “squeeze profits” out of their customers, which is a real shame, cause they’d be a great pick otherwise. My advice for the company to improve is to be more transparent and available with their clientele, as they're the reason you have a business in the first place. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Review Part 1:

I'm writing this review of my experience at this location and for anyone local considering signing up here or to Anytime Fitness in general. A note - I don’t take any personal issue with the employees, just the company’s policies and handling of when you decide to cancel your membership.

My partner and I initially signed up at this gym because of proximity. The location was a lot smaller than we were used to, and had less equipment than other gyms (like CF), but we really only needed to use their basic weightlifting and cardio machines, so we decided it was a good fit. The staff were friendly, available, and attentive upon signup, and the process was a breeze. We signed up for a two-year contract, which they are very, VERY firm on. Read their terms carefully on initial signup, as there is a lot in fine print that I regret not going in knowing.

So, for about two years we happily frequented the location. The machines were well maintained and cleaned (there’s always a sanitation bottle within reach), and the gym was never very crowded even during high-traffic times (not a lot of waiting for machines). Occasionally there would be an overly loud weight-lifter or a broken machine, but all-in-all we’d had a good experience, until it came time to cancel, which is such a shame, because otherwise I would have given them 5-stars.

When it came close to the end of our 2-year contract, our life situation had changed. We were moving, and couldn’t justify spending an almost-seventy-dollars-a-month on a gym membership, despite how much we liked it. So, we reached out during-hours via their contact phone-number provided to us upon signup (not their Google Phone number) and asked if we could cancel over-the-phone.

The employee said that we could only cancel in-person, to which we told them we would come in to do so. We came in and found a different employee than whom we spoke with over-the-phone, and told her we were directed to come in-person to cancel. She said that their manager would actually have to be the one to do so, but that her manager was out of office at the time. We couldn’t spare more time that day, so we came in on a different day.

We met up with the manager and she said that we couldn’t begin our cancellation until a “specific window of time” before the monthly payment would go out, and that if we canceled now, before our 2-year contract ended, that we’d have to pay the rest of the 2 months we had left on the contract & an early cancellation fee. We were a bit frustrated at this point at the amount of barriers in place to dissuade us, but we patiently waited out our contract, and paid our last two months in-full until the time came to finally start the in-person cancellation process.

I used to like working out at this gym, until I had to cancel my membership.
I signed up for twice week group training, which costed $150 per month. When I acquired my membership in February 2023, the manager told me that I would not have problem canceling, since I was moving to another state . In April 2023, I requested to cancel my membership by May 16th, because I am relocating to another state. The manager told me that he was canceling but apparently he gave me a new agreement to sign. Since February 2023 to May 2023 this gym had 3 different managers. The new Manager Kimberly is requesting 2 proves that I am moving. I provided my job offer letter and she refused to accept it. Saying that I did not move yet.
I do not recommend this gym just for the difficult to cancel the membership!

While I usually enjoy this location I came in at about 7 for a leg day and a couple that was doing the exact same exact same workout as each other decided to take up 2 to three of the same pieces of equipment at once the entire night. I waited nearly an hour to use the leg press. People like this need to be charged a fine. They could have easily one peace of equipment at a time and taken turns between sets. Have to make sure you rest for 5 minutes in-between each set as well. Unbelievable (03 Aug at 1930 if your curious owner)

Little did I know I was paying bi-weekly 25$, why they set me up like this I don't know. So that's $50 a month for a 1000sq/ft gym with all my nanas friends hanging out. I wouldn't have gone as far as this review but I had tried to cancel and contact them by phone and email for over 3 months after I moved. Finally I have to go into the place and express my dis-satisfaction. They basically said sorry bud we are scammers and oh yeah you will have an additional 4 charges before we can cancel your account.

This location is open and they have multiple safety measures in place to ensure that people are wearing masks, sanitizing equipment before and after use, and distancing while using said equipment. This location is not busy, but it is very clean and well ventilated, so I felt safe; the staff (Becca and Kayla) are on prem from 10-6 and will take your temperature upon arrival. I had a great experience yesterday and will be returning soon.

Training with Alexa and Kayla has been a great experience and I highly recommend them as personal trainers. They will take the time to help set realistic goals and make sure your doing everything correctly to achieve them.

The training sessions are a great way to reduce stress and have a good time while exercising. All exercises are explained in detail and they will make sure your doing the correct form to prevent injuries.

They are able to train any age group or fitness level. If your looking to start a healthy lifestyle, this gym is definitely for that.

A great, clean gym, conveniently located to me where I look forward to working out. The trainers are very professional and keep an eye out, modifying exercises so that you work hard but are not injured. Classes are relatively inexpensive and are held with between 3 and 7 other people, depending on whether they are small group or team training. Heart rate monitors (rented item) contribute to the training experience by keeping track of your exertion level. I really don't like to exercise, but I do like my workouts at the Anytime Fitness location.

Worst gym that is poorly managed and doesn’t care about member what so ever. They play the worst music and is expensive having to pay every month. I regret joining over a year ago but you won’t see me again, thanks for your luck. I had to pay for time I didn’t even use this gym.The manager said they told me multiple times that I was sleeping in gym, that’s a lie. Don’t even bother rewriting back to me.
My advice is don’t waste your time signing a contract with this small gym that’s a bog company who just cares about getting your money. any way to close in a good note I did find another gym, not anytime

In all honestly just don't go to anytime fitness in general. As far as the actual fitness there aren't many useful things offered here beyond the basic selection of standard gym equipment - especially for the price/mo. Second let's talk about the contractual dishonesty which is basically just a giant money grab. They will call you to see about renewing your membership and when you tell them you aren't interested they sign you up anyway.. the fact that they are more interested in making money than doing right by their customers is evidence enough not to join. It's not enough to just tell them not to renew you have to send in a handwritten or email document - if you are looking for a better waste of your money I'd suggest buying a time share in Branson
