Bottom line is this business uses sneaky contracts with difficult cancellations. We all know the kind, those subscriptions that you keep getting charged for and don’t want, that’s this business model.
It’s Very disheartening to write this. I was a happy member for over 2 years, fully completed my original 18month contract. I needed to take a temporary break due to family issues and financial difficulties. When I stated I needed to cancel or pause my membership for a couple months I was met with a robotic response telling me I can’t because my membership was automatically renewed for another 18 months against my wishes. I had requested to not have it automatically renewed at my sign up.
This was my happy place, I loved this gym. But the management and owner decided to use sneaky tactics to force me into auto renewal for another 18 months! Not the normal month to month that most gyms do after completion of the initial contract. I asked to not auto renew at sign up, which I was told would be taken off, but apparently I needed to also email.
Whatever it takes to hope the members don’t do all the steps to stop auto renewal and trap them in a membership they don’t want after completing their initial contract.
It’s sad this business owner uses this kind of tactic to keep people against their wishes. Seems a better business model to work with clients, especially ones that were loyal members and planned to continue after a short break.
I originally planned a short break and would return once my family issues settled down, as I loved working out there, However, due to the management and ownership, I will never be back to this location due to the snarky and rude attitude towards my struggles. They claim to empower women on the slogan, apparently that only counts to some members, because when I needed a little break, their response was not to throw me a life preserver, it was to push me under even further.
If they change ownership or business tactics I’d happily go back as I truly enjoyed working out there.

I was skeptical about rejoining a gym for multiple reasons. I did two trial sessions (1st session at the downtown KC location 2nd at Raymore) before I was convinced this was the gym for me. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, if you are looking for an all women’s gym where you can have fun while you workout and have someone help you stay accountable.. The Blush Raymore is the place to be!!!

Over the years I’ve gone to several gyms where I felt lost, judged, and unmotivated. All that changed when I found BLUSH. At BLUSH the workouts are structured, trainers lead each session and offer helpful tips and modifications, and fellow gym-goers are encouraging you the entire time.
I love the workout I get, but even more so, I love the friends I’ve made who inspire me every day.

I began BLUSH a year and a half ago. My only regret is not starting sooner. My mental and physical health have improved drastically. The community is like none other always encouraging and empowering you to be the best version of you and challenge yourself to dig a lil deeper when you might be doubting yourself.

I’ve been a member for over 2 years now and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. If you want to know what it’s like, go for one free session. Also, they offer many promotional deals throughout the year. It may seem intimidating (it was for me) but it’s worth it. I’ve never had this much fun working out.

I've been working out here for almost 2 years and love being able to come in and get a good workout!
As a former trainer, I needed the accountability with out the hassle of figuring out what workout I should do. 🤪 Now I can just come in and do it and leave.
The workouts are also great for building strength, muscle and burning fat. I love the variety but love the volume days the most!
Also the trainers, balance meetings, challenges and celebrations are what makes this community so encouraging and empowering!
I've met lots of new friends and reconnected with old friends too! It's been such a blessing to help me stay consistent!

This isn’t just a gym. This isn’t just a boot camp. This is a community. Blush Raymore and the women who make it up have transformed my body and my mind. It’s given me like minded friends who I can truly count on. If you’re wondering if you should do it…the answer is yes.

Joining Blush Boot Camp has been one of the best decisions of my life. Over the past year, I’ve lost 60 pounds—and more importantly, I’ve gained strength, confidence, and a whole new outlook on fitness. I’ve never felt stronger, both physically and mentally.
The workouts are challenging but incredibly rewarding, and the trainers are so supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your success. The community at Blush is empowering and uplifting—everyone is there to push each other and grow together.
If you’re looking for a place that inspires transformation, not just on the scale but in your mindset and self-belief, Blush Boot Camp is it. I can’t recommend it enough!

I’ve been going to Blush for a little over a year. This little community of ladies has been life giving. As a parent, I don’t take much or really any time for myself so having childcare so I can get a workout in is a blessing. Prior to Blush I never worked out and now I can’t imagine my life without those 4 pink walls!

I would encourage women to stay away from this place! They seem like they’re all about empowering women, but they truly just want your money and make it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership. I signed up beginning of summertime during one of their specials. I paid for 3 months, and received 3 free months ($200 a month for the 3 months I did pay, super pricey.) I reached out via email about 2 months before my membership ended asking about their cancellation policies. Life happened and I wasn’t able to make it to classes much. The response I received just let me know I had 2 payments left, but I received no additional info on cancelling. So i left it as after my 2 payments, my membership would be over! Wrong. They auto renew your membership once your agreement is over. I’ve been back and forth with a manager and she refuses to take my email that I sent 2 months prior as a notice of wanting to cancel, and told me I’d have to pay $200 each month for 3 more months because my new agreement (that I never wanted) has already started. After reading back through the contract, I’ve realized it states that once your agreement auto renews, it’s a month to month membership. Meaning I can cancel after a month and I no longer have a long term agreement with them. The manager had led me to believe it auto renewed for another 3 months just to get more money out of me. Once I called her out on it, I received a confirmation email cancelling my membership after one more month. Good thing I went back and reread that contract! Seriously, stay away from signing an agreement with this place. They’ll tell you anything and everything to get you to pay more. Such a shame a place that seems like it has good intentions for women is actually a big scam!

From trainers who genuinely care about you - your goals and your exercise form, to members who support each other and really are your community. The facility is very clean, the equipment is in great shape and the classes are innovative and for all levels. I really just can’t say enough good things.

I love Blush Raymore! I look forward to the workouts. The trainers and staff are great, and it’s clean. I just wish they wouldn’t charge $15 if you can’t make a scheduled class - life happens with work, kids, illness/colds etc. Maybe consider allowing so many per month would be nice. I get it, it’s a spot someone else could have, but there are times when it’s just no way around it.

I love blush boot camp. Each week they release the class schedule for the week and then I go in the app and pick the day and time I would like to attend super easy. And I don’t have to think about what I should be doing because they provided that for you and show you the correct way. They offer so much more as balance meetings & body scans. Such a great environment of woman who encourage eachother. Highly recommend

BLUSH is great it’s fun and rewarding!!!! Depending on your location will depend on your exact true experience with management trainers and other members. You will be pushed and encouraged throughout your workout. It’s not easy but you are able to go at your own pace and make it your own workout.

I love that this place finally got me in a routine. The gym is clean and the staff are friendly. What would earn my 5 stars is more classes. My only option is to go late at night because all the afternoon classes book up and are waitlist full. Ive never been able to get in on a weekend class. :( I've also never been able to make a balance meeting becuase of my work scheudle and they do those during the daytime.

I am not good at self motivating. So a traditional gym has never worked for me. I was very hesitant to go to Blush as well thinking everyone will be judging me and watching me. Well I’m writing this to say that is far from the truth. Blush has given me so much confidence and now I know how to exercise. The trainers push you to achieve your full potential but also are excellent in showing modifications for those with less mobility. It’s the best decision I made to walk through those doors! Come hang out with us in Raymore.

I enjoyed the classes. It's hard to get into the babysitting sections though. You also can never get into a Friday, Saturday or Sunday class. I was also very frustrated with the way certain situations were handled. Definitely won't be renewing my contract.
