if you’re looking for a place that doesn’t discriminate, target you for your appearance, or invade your personal life/business I wouldn’t go here. I had no issues for a long time but things got weird with some of the members. I had no clue who they were but specifically females started following me around everywhere and doing weird gestures towards me. specifically one time I went to the bathroom to freshen up and this female went in after me, stared at me, and did some kind of mimicky gesture and left. some of the men went out of their way to stare me down and glare at me. i tried explaining to people how strange things got there. i was just told i could be a target or possibly being talked about amongst ppl without me knowing. safe to say i stay out of this town area now and didn’t want to include myself in this kind of “gym member group”

I've never been to a gym in my life. I really like how they give you a 7 day free trial to try it out before committing to a year commitment!!! Everyone is respectful and helpful. Very clean as well. They have a little of everything for everyone. Alot of the weighted machines have images on how to operate it, and tells you the muscle groups they work which I love being a beginner. I also love how they're a 24 hour gym being I work late evenings into early mornings allowing me to fit working out to my own schedule. The only thing I would change is being able to pay the maintenance fee up front if you wanted, but it's not a deal breaker. Definitely signing up after my free 7 day trial.

Hands down, Brian's Gym is the place to go in Sedalia for fitness and weight lifting. The staff is friendly, there are plenty of exercise stations for cardio, free weights and various other cross-fit types of exercise. The 24hour access is very convenient and the security/safety is modern and effective. It's a great place to get in shape.

Moved and forgot about membership since I haven't went in long time and changed banks. No calls or notifications, first I hear about it is a collections agency trying to collect about $600. Unbelievable!

EDIT for Response 10/22: Don't know what company you used but they didn't leave any voicemails and I didn't get any letters. I can check call records if you want to give me dates and times they tried to call. Keep in mind, like most people, if it said spam likely on caller id, I won't answer those calls, but I would have checked voicemail transcriptions to see if anything important was left. Also Collections did said $600 something on the call, they were able to reach me just fine. Also note, if you would have called and showed Brian's Gym on my Caller ID, I would've recognized that name and likely knew what the call was for, outsourcing that, means you have situations like these. Single phone call on your side would likely go a long way.

At first, they charged 500 rupees for a day pass, which was good for me because i came 2 - 3 times a month here, but now they have increased the day pass charges to 1000 rupees. Which is way more. It's a good gym with good facilities, but still 1000 a day is far more what they offer in a day pass.

My Fiancé and I joined Brian’s gym about a week ago and I have to tell you that what we have here in Sedalia is not only the best in town but probably all of Missouri. I could go on about the equipment being first class, functional, well-spaced and designed so that you ALWAYS have a great workout….but I think I need to let you know my experience….and Brian’s is BETTER than all of them. I worked out in the Sedalia Athletic Club starting in the mid eighties…followed them from north limit to Dan’s new facility on the west side….I’ve worked out at Golds Gym with world class athletes….I’ve been to the best Bally’s in South Florida….I’ve worked out at independent gyms from Florida to Missouri….I’ve been in more PF locations than I can remember. Nothing…absolutely NOTHING compares to Brian’s Gym. Probably the closest thing to a PERFECT GYM in the Midwest. Hats of to Brian Spencer…well done.

The first gym, after many, where the owners take time to clean & sanitize everything! The gym is absolutely amazing and caters to all levels and styles people engage in for health and fitness. The equipment is unmatched, they have everything a person could desire for bigger muscle movements. They have a turf area and a CrossFit area. Machines are rarely broken and when they are, they are quickly fixed. Brian also frequently looks to update with new equipment. He and his staff are personable, and amazing people in general. They have kids care also! Annnnd lastly, They have a smoothie bar! I moved from Missouri but I loved the gym and would go out the way 20 min specifically for their gym. I miss it dearly.

The worst customer service!!! I don’t know who is giving you high ratings here but it will not be coming from me! I have tried and tried to cancel this gym for a while now, I have went there in person no one is allowed to open the doors for anyone, I have called and I can never get anyone, you have made your hours impossible to come in and sigh the cancellation!!!! Today I received a phone call that Bryan’s gym reported me to collections, I paid religiously for 2 years, and when it was impossible for me to cancel, I went to my bank and cancel it that way, well that’s where the collection came in. So I called the gym, Melissa rude and u professional!!! Not a place for you to serve customers!!! She told me on the phone to come in and sign the paperwork, I get there and she refuses to give me the papers to sign!!!!! You all are pretty desperate to keep your clients!!!! This is not acceptable!!! I will never recommend this gym to anyone!!! Shame on you for doing this to people that hi supported your business!!!! Shame on you!!! And the owner himself finally came out and was just as rude as his beverage making kikimora!!

Brian is absolutely a wonderful business owner. He talks to my husband and I once in a while and knows who the gym members are. He does a really good job at keeping out those who aren't members. Business has a really good system for maintaining the rules that need to be followed. Which I am very thankful because Brian goes a long way to make my gym experience top notch. I love the gym. It has everything I need and it's always clean. They recently added new equipment, and do maintenance on existing equipment all the time. Customer service members have always been helpful, and answer any questions I have with a good attitude.

This is one of the better gyms I've gone to. It has a very laid back atmosphere, nobody is judgy, and the attendants help if you don't know what to do. Daycare is a plus and are super nice as well.
