The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained, with an incredible and very professional staff, although unfortunately, the concessions opened 20 minutes later than posted and almost an hour after the Saturday volleyball games started, with hundreds of people looking for food and beverages. And on top of that, the concessions closed just after the lunch hour, with all the courts still in use with tournament games, and the complex still packed with families. Missed opportunities for whoever is running the SportsPlex facility, while frustrating hundreds of attendees.

Same as Conway Arkansas. Complex is beautiful, facilities are awesome. But they intentionally make it a food desert, and prohibit any food coming in. And then the places that offer food within the complex are either an understaffed and under prepared…and sell out or give us smoothie bowls of soup…or offer only fried foods that are not particularly great. Event centers need to stop being greedy and either allow us to feed ourselves or provide sufficient resources. Literally have to plot and scheme in order to feed your athlete. SO annoying.

The only downside was the bathrooms weren't kept up with and all the tables to sit at were dirty. With how many people were there for the basketball tournament it's something to focus on. Everything else was good! Good location, plenty of parking, friendly staff and good food options!! I think the souvenir cup is a great idea!

Parking is horrible. They host huge tournaments and still have other events going on in the other training areas which make the whole place congested all day long. They are not able to keep up with their amount of business. It does stay extremely clean and is well kept as far as bathrooms and eating areas.

Great courts. But my only complaint is the cost they charge to get in the door on tournaments. Most tournaments cost $10 per person per day. So a family of 5 will cost $100 to watch their kid play in the weekend tournament. It’s just too much.

Shoutout to Cape Girardeau SportsPlex, we had a brief stop in Cape for a cheer comp and my husband lost his wallet. We didnt notice until we were home, about 2.5hrs away. I sent an email to the facility as soon as we realized it was missing knowing they had long been closed for the day. Before they even opened the next day, the facility manager, Heather, responded that it had been found. She sent a quick form for us to fill out and had it overnighted via FedEx. When the wallet arrived it had all its contents, cash included. Thank you SportsPlex team for your honesty and extra efforts to get this back to us quickly! Their facility is always clean and well kept too, so 5 stars for them!

I can't tell you how many places like this charge $4 for a water and $3 for a Slim Jim just because they have a captive audience when a basketball tournament is in town.... Looking at you Paducah! Huge sports complex. Easy to find. One large room has 6 basketball courts, we were there for a tournament. The other half we didn't go to but it was just as large and looked like it was covered in astroturf. There were baseball and softball players using that part. Nice selection at concessions. Whole facility was very clean including the restrooms.

Overall, this is a good facility to hold a 3-day volleyball tournament. The facility was very clean. Parking was ok but it needs to be expanded. They actually had bleachers next to the courts which were a good thing. I believe 12 courts were available for the different teams participating. It was still crowded inside the building but that is to be expected at an event such as this. Cell phone service sucks inside the building if you have T-mobile. So be sure to get the Wi-Fi password if you plan to do any internet surfing or calls. Otherwise, it's going to be a long day.

Well laid out spots complex. Sub-optimal bathrooms though. Feels very cheaply put together a sink to toilet ratios that encourages not washing your hands.

With a volleyball tournament taking place, it was so loud it was hard to tell which ref was blowing the whistle without looking for hand signals.

Food is available for purchase (no outside food allowed). They have tables/chairs to consume the food at.

This place is ran as a money making business. Tournaments are notoriously overbooked. With 12 courts and 58 teams at $200 each you do the math. Then they charge for admission. One weekend it was $5 per adult. The next was $10 per adult. No outside concessions. The food is decently priced but be prepared to stand in line for 30 or more minutes. (Almost impossible to get the players fed unless a spectator leaves the previous game to stand in line. Parking is extremely limited. Gyms are standing room only because the place OVERBOOKS.

We love this place. We spend half our winter evenings here. It's clean, very big and spacious, with incredibly helpful, friendly staff.
Myself, and my husband, enjoy watching our son play organized basketball and flag football games, while etaying warm and dry at the same time.
. Both my boys have enjoyed attending private birthday parties and various camps/workshops.
The whole family can hardly pass up the concessions and/or vending machines. But getting my boys and daddy away from the mini arcade or mulitle large screen tvs streaming the hottest professional sports game certainly be a challenge.

My only complaint...
It's just too bad they didn't include a pool, exercise gym, etc., when it was built. I still find myself wanting to drive to Perryville Park Center to ,, "have it all" on days we just want to "play" together as a family, indoors.

I experienced the worst today I’ve never had an accident like today. The man Marc is very disrespectful he approached in his wheelchair accusing me of sneaking into the game. Of course he was wrong to even follow me and my kid’s telling us he’s over the whole thing and we can leave. I tried to explain my position on which a few staff confirmed the mix up but he never apologized for his behavior and continued to be disrespectful. I understand his position but that doesn’t give the right to treat people like he did. I would love to submit an complaint. Coaches and others witness this today and honestly I would not have posted this situation if he had just apologized or at least calmed down. Overall sportsplex staff is great and my children , friends and family will continue to play the games it’s not the coaches fault.
