In February, I emailed the business and let them know that I needed to cancel and went on about my time. In May or so, I wanted to go back and signed up. I didn't keep track of which of my emails were used for sign up so I used whichever was on autofill, regardless I paid for my first month on the new membership. Second month rolls around and i find out that I'm still being charged for my old account as well as the new one. I go in around the first week of july, talk to the owner, show him where I sent the email to cancel, got charged regardless. He tells me it's all good, he's gonna cancel the new membership and pro rate me up to November. Great, that takes care of that!

I get an email today stating that my payment didn't go through so I go to talk to him, doesn't remember the conversation we had, tells me that "in my time as an owner and the ministry, I see people spin these webs of deception, people use other emails to steal time and free memberships, etc" and progressively gets more upset even though I'm trying to explain the situation. The last thing that I'm trying to do is "steal time" at a gym that I've only been able to make it to maybe 5 times this year because of the volume of work I have going on that's finally slowed down so I could take advantage of my membership.

CB Fitness and Bart cares about their customers. People take their kindness for granted as they try to accommodate for each invididual, reasonably.

Overall, my experience at CB Fitness has been good and for those whom say otherwise, I just ask:

"Did you talk to them in-person?"

As simple as this question is, I understand how easy and convenient it is to send a text or call someone whom is within our proximity to have those conversations, face-to-face.

Beware of this gym.! When I joined this gym the owner double charged me and my wife.I brought it to his attention as soon as it showed on my bank account,I had to hound him for 2 mths to make it right.When I had quit the gym I gave the proper notice and my keyfobs where he asked me to leave.The following month he charged my account again and again I brought it to his attention.He said meet him at the gym and he would make it right.When I got to the gym I got a call from him supposedly his wife had to go to the hospital but he would meet later . After a week I attempted to contact him and he blew me off since.This guy is not honest.Im on a fixed income because I retired last year.I would steer clear of this gym and find a different one!!!!!!!

Those who complain are those who did not give a notice to cancel to stop their payments and instead of coming and fixing the issue they give us a bad rating and that’s okay bc they did not pay to workout anyway! Love going here. I love the positive energy. I love how friendly the owners are. I love that everyone gets along here. Great prices. Great equipment and love the thursday night zumba classes. Definitely recommend all to join this awesome gym.

Quit going to the gym months ago and got a call from a collections agency saying I owed $200 bucks. Only one effort was made to contact me and it had no mention of collections or credit or anything of that nature.

The gym itself is in shoddy condition equipment is old and the building is dingy. If you are in Sikeston and want a gym with nice equipment and world class trainers Bootheel Crossfit is definitely the way to go. They strive to maintain a friendly relationship with their clients and are very clear about payment and things of that nature.

My only hopes are that this review saves someone from the experience I had and that the owners of the gym are using my stolen money for something cool- maybe like a vacation or something because that’s what I would have done with it.

Cancelled this in scott city after my mother passed in 2016. I gave my 30 day notice and paid. bart physically threatened me after relentlessly charging me and taking money from my bank account. Now he fraudulently reported me to the credit union over a contract i didnt have and is building interest on my transunion. Bart is a sex offender that got out of charges and he uses his cross to manipulate people. Take your business elsewere if you can.
