Her attention to detail and ability to break down complex movements makes even the toughest workouts approachable. Clean CrossFit gym with a strong welcoming community. Starting CrossFit was a little daunting at first, but Coach Lyndsey made it easy to learn and follow along in my intro. Then moving into classes, all the coaches, Pete, Maddie, Lacey, and more, kept a watchful eye to ensure I was doing the movements properly. There is a consistent group of people at the classes, so every time I knew the person next to me. This is not a rotating door gym. R2L is a great spot to start or continue your CrossFit gym!

I met up with the GBYI group to witness their Crossfit workout on a Saturday morning. The Ready 2 Live Gym is a newer growing gym where the serious workout factor meets great equipment and great environment. The management has opened their doors to our group, and inner city mentored teens are learning the value of healthy eating, physical workouts, mentoring, and academic enhancement. Ready 2 Live💪🏾 is a professional grade gym with heart.

Absolutely hands down the most wonderful, caring and supportive group and community. The owners and coaches are top notch and the programming is 🔥. As a physical therapist, I see the benefit of getting to work with such a respectable gym. The programming and scaling is very approachable but the workout are still challenging. Dropped in randomly when visiting STL - owners were welcoming. Gym was very nice, clean. Plenty of good, quality equipment. Drop in fee was reasonable. Only disappointment was that they didn’t have any tshirts to buy! Excellent wod. Would definitely return when we are back in the area!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this gym and the people who make it work! Traveling from out of state for 4 months and have been here since day one. I immediately felt welcomed by all the members, coaches, and owners. This place made being away from family and friends for so long a little bit more manageable! 10/10 would come back to this gym for the people alone!

Dropped in on 3/3. Owner was welcoming and took us in even though there were no others for that time. Made up a great workout on the spot and stayed over to get to know us. Clean gym, plenty of space. I look forward to telling more people about this location. I’d say it’s a perfect spot for a both first time crossfitter and experienced level athlete.

Went for a drop-in while I was in St. Louis. The gym was very clean and well organized. The coach was very personable and made it so much easier for me to be successful in a new workout space. Overall, very "chill" vibe for a Crossfit gym, which made it extremely easy for me to feel comfortable and confident. Bonus points for being the spot where I set a new deadlift PR! Thanks for letting me drop-in and for being so welcoming!

I've been going to this place since the beginning, and the people here have developed a wonderful supportive community with fitness at its core. Trainers here are knowledgeable and motivating. The variations in activity and the "no judgement" approach to scaling back exercises by the trainers is great in motivating fitness and preventing injury. If you're looking to get into Crossfit or wanting to do something different. The R2L is may just have everything you need!

The trainers are motivating and knowledgeable! The class schedule is conducive to anyone's work/life balance. My experience with Crossfit has been fantastic. The coaches are warm, welcoming, and encouraging. They don't let you slack off and push each person to their personal best. Same for my fellow participants (athletes, in cf lingo), who represent a wide range of ages, body types, and fitness levels. I’d lifted minimally in the past so I appreciate learning the variety of functional weight training moves, where we use weights as well as balls, kettlebells, and our bodies. The high intensity, timed work outs have helped me out in other areas of my fitness, training me to keep pushing when I get tired on a jog or bike ride.

My previous perceptions of Crossfit was that it was only for folks who wanted to follow a paleo diet and were hypercompetitive. As a previous vegan and never a group sports type person, I didn't really think Crossfit would be for me. But, I've been pleasantly surprised. Paleo gets minimal attention and the nutrition info presented was balanced. As far as the competitiveness goes, I think it's the kind of environment where someone who is independent or group minded can flourish; you can compare your progress to your own PRs and/or check out how others are performing since our performance is posted on a white board each class.

If you're on the fence or curious, this affordable, friendly box makes Crossfit totally worth a try.

After two major back surgeries I never thought I'd be able to work out again. The coaches are on point and understand each individuals limits and push you right to the brink. My back is stronger than ever and hasn't felt this good in years. My advice...if you think you can't, try anyway.

Kevin and Connor are great trainers with vast knowledge who can be very beneficial to all of your training needs. Come check these guys out and see if they can help you reach your fitness goals. They have fantastic facility, at just over 7000 sq ft, with plenty of space to accommodate both large and small classes. So, if you're in need of am awesome crossfit gym and your in town come by and see them.

This is a great crossfit box. The coaches are great and they are always there to help you. I am not very athletic at all and they gear the WODs to my fitness level. I have gotten stronger in just the past month. I look forward to the work out every day. They make you feel like family from the time you walk in the door. Come check them out.

Great Crossfit gym and amazing coaches Connor and Kevin. They both worked around my time during my 4 FREE introduction classes. If you are looking for a Crossfit gym in the St Louis area I would highly recommend this gym. The gym is welcoming and Connor and Kevin for sure know what they are talking about.
