I'm in my 70's and I go to Doling to exercise 3-4 times per week utilizing Silver Sneakers. I couldn't be happier. It's clean with lots of amenities, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. After working out, (weather permitting), I walk around the Spring Lake, which is paved and originates from a large cave. It's a beautiful and peaceful setting, with large mature trees. I highly recommend this facility!

I absolutely love this place! I have a family of 4. We got their family membership, which was a surprisingly reasonable price per month. We frequently visit the pool & the kids love it. Thanks to the child care they offer, my husband & I also take advantage of the gym, which has plenty of exercise options. I 100% recommend. Well worth the price!

This review is long overdue and pertains to just the indoor basketball court. I've had a membership for almost a year and a half. The court is almost always VERY SLICK. It would surprise me if it's dry mopped once a week. I have never even seen someone dry mopping the floor the entirety of my membership. This should at LEAST be done every day, with actual liquid cleaning done at regular intervals. As of now (1-3-25) DO NOT GO HERE FOR BASKETBALL or anything that you need traction for in the gym until it is resolved. Call and ask if they cleaned it today before going. In closing not only is it super unfun to try and play basketball while your literally sliding around, but it's also unsafe. Something a FAMILY CENTER should have as a top priority. Please start cleaning the floor and I will change my review.

We work out here regularly. The equipment is well maintained, as well as the facility. They have a walking track that overlooks the basketball court. They play pickleball there as well. They have a swimming pool with a slide, a lap pool, and the hot tub. They also have a pool table and air hockey. The staff are always nice. And they do have child care available if you are coming there to work out. It is included with the membership, but I'm not sure if it is included with the drop in rate, or if child care is a little more if you do not have the membership. The membership is only $36 per month for a single person, so it really is a great deal. Especially when you consider that you can also go to the Chesterfield location and Don Kinney with the membership. This is my second year having a membership. I did look to see if I could find another place that might have a sauna, for approximately the same cost, but I could not find anywhere that included everything the community center has, for anywhere near this cost per month. In fact, this year I renewed in January during a time where they had a special going on, so I purchased the entire year. Based on the rate I paid, it comes out to around $25 per month.
I definitely recommend a membership with the community centers. They do have some really great classes as well!

It was clean inside the building. They need your life story before you can get into the pool, which is difficult when you have excited kids. Quite the sign in process, and you can avoid that by going to one of the outdoor pools. They turn off the baby fountains when they have an aquatic class. Not the best place for young toddlers.

Visited the pool with my family 7/1/23! 4:30pm 2 young female lifeguards on duty who would not release there names because of the disrespect shown towards my family members made this environment not so much a family center at all. Racial profiling at its finest actually. Sensitivity training needs to be reviewed with these 2 young females. choosing which rules to enforce depending ethnicity is shameful. When my husband asked why she had only spoke us as we were in the lap pool and takin a minute break but others were just hang out not doing laps at all and she laughed in our face that was enough for us not to revisit. I never thought I would have to leave a review as such but with African American nieces visiting from VA and a biracial daughter I will never let them be in a environment as such.. 🤢 I hope the park board gets these girls better training asap.

I have been here many times for my kids' b-day parties. It is a good place parties, great if you want to swim. Recently, I scheduled a party though, and I forgot about a sout event. I need the party moved and was told to talk to a supervisor, I have left 2 messages and called 3 times in 5 days and haven't been able to get ahold of a supervisor.. I haven't called today as it is Sunday. If this can be resolved, I would prefer to leave a better rating.

There's a basketball court here. It's divided into two sides by a large curtain. There are 3 goals, one for each wall. Basically, each side has a main goal with glass and steel backboard. The side goals are not glass backboards.

I stop here frequently for swim & weight workouts on travels through Missouri. The staff are very friendly & helpful. They allow you to get a cheap ($10) & easy day pass, or a 15x pass for $120.

The pool area has 3 separate lap lanes, a family pool area, and some play structures for kids.

They have a decent free weight selection plus maybe two dozen weight or cardio machines.

They also have basketball courts and maybe some other amenities of a medium to large community rec center.

Great water aerobics classes! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is the pool isn't senior friendly. By that I mean it's always nice cold and that's not good for arthritic joints causing me more pain. Also every time I've used the showers they have dirt and hair so not sanitary at all.

Doling is definitely the way to go the park-board has always been an amazing place to go no matter which location you go to. i prefer doling over other but the weight/cardio area is clean and well kept, the track is well kept, the locker rooms are clean do not smell and the showers are well kept also, the pool is fun for the whole family it has a hot tub for people who are age 14 and up, a kiddie pool, a slide and a lap area.
