I'm from Pittsburg and drove over because the Pittsburg Y's pool was closed again. The Carthage Y has a therapy pool and I couldn't be more impressed. The staff and clients were so friendly! I wish my Y was as good. I will be back. It's worth the drive!

Great indoor pool. Was able to link my health insurance with UHC to get my membership recognized and come in to work all the muscles in my old flabby body (I know I’m hard on myself).

They are reiseit and told my son to leave bc he was 12 and didn't care about the white guy that's was yunger them him to leave and to be honest this is wrong we should treat others with kindness and I am not planning coming back

Therapy isn't available so many times when my mom tries to go. Rude person at welcome desk said its posted on FB closed for different things. Nothing on FB and she doesn't know how to use FB. Her doctor sends her there for her back n after driving the 30 min there and back its not worth it to find close or closing soon. Signs around have different times open/closed. Others members have complained about this but only getting worse. My kids stopped going cuz never could use the gym for shooting around. I pay for membership but feel like they are not offered the services that say they are.

I went to the therapeutic pool but the water wasn't as hot as it used to be back in the day. They should warm it up;I really could use the high temperature on my achy breaky back. Im not going again if they don't turn the heat up. Also I'm on dissability and can only afford 1 meal a day. What I'm saying is the disabled person entry fee shouldn't exist. Also the owner shouldn't be charged.

Not a great venue for a swim meet, poor seating, ventilation, swimmers cramped. If they are going to hold a meet here it should be way less teams, there is no room for spectators to cheer on their swimmers. Probably won't be back.

I'm sad to have to write this review because I have been coming to the YMCA literally since I was a little girl. Unfortunately, it has changed. My son was in the KIM afterschool program with the Y and one of their employees gave me the wrong info causing my son to not get picked up from school. It is always difficult to get in touch with someone there but I asked for a call back by the end of the night it happened. I was told I would get one and didn't get it until the next day when I was working. At this point I'm fed up with it, made a posting and asked if anyone knew of any alternative options. Then the Y director Jonathan started Facebook messaging me. I'm just going to post the screenshots. They are incredibly unorganized which led to them calling the wrong number to get into contact with me. And basically said everything was my fault. We have literally spoken multiple times on my new phone number this year but they were calling my old phone number. The employee did not give me the registration paperwork even though I specifically asked if I needed to sign new paperwork. But all the director could focuse on is that I said the childcare director doesn't know what she is doing. I was going to post out conversation but I guess we can't do that here.

Have been talking with them on different ways of trying to check their weight room out and they don’t seem to try and accommodate in anyway. Was going to try and go with a buddy after he gets off work and asked if I could come by and pay for the day pass and go with him at 6. They said nope no way to work that out. I have called other times and tried different ways as well. I will stick with 24 hour gym down the road.

It was the worst experience in general. Disappointed staff and life guards. It’s Marian Days and the life guards target the Asian immigrants that go there . When the other white folks break rules life guards are fine but when we do the little things like stand on a board he gets really mad. It’s disappointing that he threatens us because he has the authorities to, you lose customers when you can’t let them have fun.

Fair Acres Family Y has a very good place for young and old to go 2 workout! Silver Sinkers is geared toward the Elderly. We work all the muscles in our body in 45 minutes. 3 days a week!!!

Our kids and us love this place and the family plan is so reasonable considering all that they offer. Our son has taken lifeguard training classes and my wife loves the Zumba classes. It also feels safe knowing everyone here too. Great atmosphere.

Love the pool and the swim family there. The front desk lady dropped their rating. I just told her about swimming the events of the day and what not. She almost made my daughter miss her event. It was like the Spanish inquisition she tried to put me through and then made us wait just to sign in. I understand procedure and protocol - but when a steady stream of people came in & nothing was asked of them or they weren't made to stop. She picked me and my daughter out of a ton of people and I did not and do not appreciateate it at all.
