I just got home from a powerlifting session for my daughter, Christa, a Special Olympics Athlete. Evan is an excellent coach. He is very knowledgeable. He is a good listener. He answers all of my questions. Very positive. I noticed how Christa has improved in a few weeks of training with Evan Miller. He cares about her safety and learning proper techniques.,
If you are looking for a professional trainer, my recommendation is Evan Miller, Freedom Fitness.

I’ve been a client of Evan’s for over a year now and could not have made a better choice! At the time when I sought out coaching, I had been lifting for many years and interested in powerlifting competitively. With Evan’s experience, knowledge, and encouragement, I’ve not only been able to confidently put my lifts on a platform; I’ve also made more progress in the last year than I ever have in the past. I could not be happier with my experience and highly recommend Evan and all of the coaches at Freedom Fitness

House of Pain is THE Gym to go to in St Louis. No sad breakup music over the loud speaker. No grossness in the locker rooms. No surly, half-interested high school students behind the desk.
This place is rocks hard. And most importantly, Evan Miller is the king of personal fitness training. If you can get on his list, GET ON IT.

I been at house of pain for 6 months now and it’s the first gym I’ve ever had gym friends. They all take fitness serious, and encourages you no matter where you are in your fitness journey.

The staff are all fantastic. Nearly all of them know me by name. I signed up for one of their personal trainers and he is extremely knowledgable, always matches or exceeds the time promised, and always celebrates my progress.

First time in my life I’ve ever understood why people like the gym. It’s because of gyms like these.

Ever since I began working out with Ryan I have noticed a big increase in my muscle gain and large decrease in soreness. Learning proper form and other individual training tips from Ryan have put me on the right track to achieve my body goals. Before I wasted many years at other gyms getting very very minimal results…. And by the way House of Pain has the most motivating atmosphere of any gym around!

Since beginning my weight loss journey back in February and having some bumps down the road thanks to Evan saving the day and introducing me to Grant.I was a little nervous at the beginning and getting back into the routine, but by the end of my first week with Grant I knew that I was going to get to my goal weight with my new trainer. Since training with Grant in August I’m down 31 pounds and basically to my goal weight! Grant doesn’t just show you how to do certain machines but he explains why we are doing using it and where i should be feeling the work out. Words can not describe how thankful and happy I am that I have such an amazing trainer and how much Evan and the team has helped me. Yes Grants training sessions are more expensive but it is WORTH it and they actually can come up with a plan to break it down in payments to make it easier!
