I’ve only taken a few classes at Movement Lab thus far, but I’m already hooked. The classes are fun and challenging, and Addie and Rebekah are absolutely wonderful.

KC Movement Lab is a very special place. Rebekah and Addie are lifelong learners who are constantly learning and growing which is reflected in their ability to help clients get strong, build confidence, and enjoy fulfilling lives. They've done a brilliant job of creating a community that is supportive, challenging, and fun! There's hardly a week that goes by that I'm not telling someone about my journey in their studio - and I'm always excited when a friend discovers how amazing they are, too. I love catching a glimpse of a new muscle in the mirror and feeling my body get stronger. It's my favorite third place.

I absolutely love Pilates with Rebekah at KC Movement Lab! I’ve never tried Pirates before and now after several months with Rebekah I don’t want to stop! She is an amazing teacher/coach/friend with a lot of patience and skills!! Rebekah always explains how to do the movements so well and she is very encouraging! I used to wake up in the morning stiff and sore all over (I’m 65;) and I just realized these past couple of months I’m bouncing out of bed with no soreness or stiffness!! Pilates has been life changing! I highly recommend Rebekah or Addie at KC Movement Lab! Not only will you notice significant changes all around you will experience lots of fun and laughter!! Rebekah and Addie at KC Movement Lab are awesome!!

We have been coming to Movement Lab for several months. Im over 70 and have some spine and shoulder issues, (curvature of the spine and arthritis) My class has been altered to provide me with a difficult workout, but without exacerbating my issues. We take duet semi private lessons, and it’s worth every penny.
Rebekah, our instructor, discussed my issues with my physical therapist to insure that we were working on what is best for my situation. Additionally, they have been very flexible when having to cancel and reschedule.
If you want to put forth some effort to become more physically fit, give it a try.

Absolutely Love KC Movement Lab!!!!. I was a collegiate athlete and after all those years of basketball my knees have paid a heavy price and now in my 50's many physical activities I once enjoyed are not possible. A friend suggested that Pilates might be helpful for me and I am so glad I took that advise and found KC Movement Lab. I began working with Addie in Aug of 2022 and I couldn't be happier. Addie has tailored a Pilates program for me that not only adapts to the issues I have with my knees but also incorporates strength training because she asked me what kind of training I enjoyed. I know I am headed for total knee replacements at some point but Addie has helped me find a way to do workouts again without pain. I can't recommend Addie and KC Movement Lab highly enough!!!!

I started personal training with Addie 1-1 in October 2-3 times a week. I noticed a change in my body quickly. I feel fit, healthy, and I look forward to the classes and the 1-1 training every week.

I had a great first class with KC Movement Lab today - which is a little fitness gem on Gregory right between Brookside and Waldo!
I took a Fuse Ladder class. (Had never heard of it, but Pilates always gives me a great challenge. Something new sounded fun.)
This class didn't disappoint. The teacher was helpful and encouraging - while the class offered plenty of variety. I worked core muscles in new ways, which always feels empowering.
I felt a lot of strengthening throughout the class and my muscles feel great right now - "worked out" without feeling too much burnout.
This class would be accessible to all levels, imo. And if you are looking try something new in this area, I highly recommend.

Addie & Rebekah host an energetic, fun, and challenging experience that has been great for maintaining muscle strength after physical therapy. I have done the reformer, fusion ladder, and mat classes and have enjoyed all of them for different reasons. All of the classes are small which allows the instructors to give more individualized feedback during each class.

Love, love, love, love KC Movement Lab and Addie. I came to KC Movement Lab having never taken a pilates class in my life and with lower back pain that had been consistent for years. Not only did I immediately fall in love with pilates, but Addie has been the best teacher. She's been more than patient as I've started to learn pilates and has helped me so much with my back pain and stiffness. She tailors each of my private sessions to how I'm feeling and is always cognizant of my limitations. I've learned so much from Addie and I'm so happy I started this journey.
