The owners and coaches have created a very welcoming and encouraging vibe at this gym. I signed up for a long term personal training package after just a few weeks there. My trainer, Matt Tinker, has helped me keep making solid progress despite having to modify for several injuries.
The kickboxing classes have students at all levels. This is helpful to me as a beginner, since I have lots of opportunities to observe. There is always a lot of individual coaching during classes also, because the student/teacher ratio is low.

This place is amazing! Super friendly people who train there. Great coaches! The classes don't seem over crowded and the coaches are able to work with you no matter the skill level

Digging the new location. Matt and Craig do a great job of running the kickboxing side of things, providing quality Muay Thai instruction and a welcoming atmosphere. They have both morning and evening sessions throughout the week, which run about 90 minutes, so it's easy to fit into your schedule. They're also considerate of individual ability levels and goals, giving attention and technique advice to everyone. So whether you're looking to compete or simply learn some practical self-defense while getting/staying in shape, Madhouse is the place.

Training with Matt Tinker has been fantastic. Each day I train with him, he brings a bright, positive, and welcoming energy to each workout session, making me feel empowered in my workout and comfortable being myself at the gym. Matt listens to my goals and interests for being at the gym and builds a workout program that pushes me while keeping me motivated to come back and continue training. He has the depth of training knowledge to explain how today’s workout affects tomorrow’s results and what milestones to aim for to get to where I want to be. Even when I’m not feeling 100%, be it from a long day, stressful events, sickness, or injury, Matt comes up with a modified workout on the spot to keep me moving and still get the benefit of working out. As I train with Matt in his semi-private sessions, I see how well Matt balances his time with all of his clients to ensure everyone is succeeding in their workouts and have clear directions and explanations as needed on what they are doing, interjecting humor and exercise demonstrations as needed to make his clients laugh and drive his point across. It’s a treat for me to be working with a trainer like Matt.

Matt has a lot of knowledge to share about strength training. I learn new things from him all the time about strength training, but also about health, weight loss, and food and my relationship with it. He customizes my workout routine to my goals and abilities (while also challenging me every week) and checks in regularly to make sure I am getting what I need out of training. On top of all that, Matt has been understanding and gracious on my worst days. One time, when I was in my feelings and couldn’t be around people, he texted me a simplified routine to do at home. He will meet you where you are, has a lot of fun stories to tell, and works well with all kinds of people and personalities. Working with Matt has been one of my best investments!

My name is Joann and I’m 81 years old. I have been training with Matt for 2 years. Matt has designed a workout that is tailored to me as I have osteoarthritis and have limited movement with my left arm. Matt is very knowledgeable in all areas including food management. He helped me to accomplish my goal of doing a 300 lb. leg press!! Wonderful trainer!!! Thank you Matt for all you’ve done for me. Come and see what Matt can do for you.

I am having an amazing time working with Tinker Training! Matt, created a personalized workout plan that is both challenging and fun, always pushing me to reach my goals without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciate the customized approach to assign specific exercises to hit my weak points, allowing me to meet and exceed my goals. The atmosphere is positive and energetic, and his quirky attitude makes every session enjoyable. What really stands out is his dedication to helping me improve and strive for better results every time. I always leave feeling motivated and excited for the next session. Highly recommend if you're looking for a trainer who truly cares about your progress!

The comradery here, is second to none!
