I have everything I need for a complete workout at my home ...which i have done for decades . However i find myself in the past year looking for something more challenging an motivating . I was very nervous to workout in front of people and the insecurity of wondering if I had what it took to keep up and do the work .....but I'm here to tell you...I was on cloud nine after my first class...it kicked my butt, no doubt, and I felt like I was not going to be able to move for a week. But it was all worth it. I'm hooked! After two months, I signed up for unlimited and try to go 4 to 5x a week. ❀πŸ’ͺ😊
Update...still going strong after almost 6 yrs . The coaches and members and the workouts are amazing ...loving the addition of the strength 50classes.

My experience has been me healthier, stronger and I enjoy coming. If anyone out there is over 60 and is thinking it’s too much for you it is not. So just go try a class as there is nothing to loose.

I have been a member at OTF for about 2 years. Most of my time has been at the downtown location in Kansas City, but i recently moved to Liberty and decided to try the Liberty location to save me on driving time. Many friends and family of mine that are members of OTF have shared with me to stay away from the Liberty location due to the staff being unprofessional, and that they pick favorites. I decided to give it a try and my second time at this location I had booked a class for 12pm. When I arrived in the parking lot at 11:54 it was almost impossible to find a parking spot and I had to park far away and ended up walking into the studio at 12:06. When I walked in the lady at the front desk said β€œoh, it’s past our 5 minute mark so I won’t be able to let you in.” As i look at the white board and see at least 7 open spots. I was stunned as my 2 years of being a member I have never been turned away. I told the lady I was having a hard time finding a parking spot and she proceeding to say β€œyes it’s busy around this time.” I walked out feeling so defeated. As being a member for a while I know OTF policy’s and expectations. I understand that each studio has their own rules as well. Being new to the Liberty location it would have been nice if I could have gotten a warning of some sort, letting me know how strict they are. I would of been accepting of that, but just kicking me out for being one minute late blew my mind. Then later that day I get a 12$ charge to my account. This experience has well ended my time at Orange Theory. This membership is not cheap and getting kicked out for being one minutes past the cut off time I decided to cancel my membership. I would like to say the coaches at this location are great. The staff on the other hand is very unprofessional and I suggest management make some serious changes.

I LOVE OTF Liberty. I have never stuck to and been as enthusiastic about a fitness routine as I have with Orange Theory. All of the coaches are amazing, I love it when they challenge and push me to levels I didn't think I could reach. There is something for everyone here, all of the exercises has modifications to meet your skill set. They have new workouts everyday and periodic benchmark workouts so you can watch your progress.

I LOVE not having to worry about what I’m going to do to workout on a given day, how hard to push myself, or how to get myself to start. All I do is sign up for my class and show up to socialize and be told what to do. I’m competitive so I make it hard, but I definitely think that OTF is for anyone (not just us competitive types). The coaches keep it fun so we can get a good sweat going and find out just how strong we can be at each class. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I joined the studio In January 2018 when they opened, and have been hooked ever since. Here is what you need to know:
1) OTF is for everyone. Whether the thought of a treadmill sends you into a cold sweat, or you’re a regular gym rat, OTF will help you accomplish your goals.

2) It’s easy… what I mean by that is all you have to do is show up and do the work. You don’t have to plan your workout or wonder how to develop the right training schedule, just show up and they take the guess work out of the training.

3) It’s clean and organized. If you’re like me, I love showing up to work out knowing I’ll have a dedicated space and my own equipment. It’s also hands down the cleanest fitness facility I have ever been a member of. The staff cleans religiously, and members clean in between each rotation.

Call the studio. Take the free class!!!! It’s worth it.

Love the diversity of the workouts and the accountability of booking classes. 10/10 solid workout. However the favoritism of members from the staff at this studio really hurts the overall experience rating 0/10 for an inclusive welcoming environment. extremely cliquey and can feel a bit like high school. Female coach has β€œclass pets” or favorites that they chat with the entire classes and if you are an introvert or more shy person, the female coach specifically will make no effort to even acknowledge you as a person. The Social media accounts even demonstrates the lacking of inclusion and diversity at this studio, as the same members are continuously called out and shared, while other members that are not best buddies with the coaches are never acknowledged with a β€œhi” or β€œgood job.” Glad to see members and coaches friendly, but when coaches won’t even make an effort to acknowledge you throughout many many classes you can’t help but feel unwelcomed especially since the monthly membership is a bit pricey.

I really enjoyed the variety of workouts, how flexible the intensity is with each workout, how the coach was patient and corrected my technique, the playlist and encouragement from the very beginning. One of the best decisions I ever made was to become a member or this Orangetheory! I never liked workout classes... THIS is different!! I love how their classes work for ANY fitness level. Every exercise/movement the coaches demonstrate variations, and are also available for further scaled versions if needed. As a person with multiple previous injuries this was so crucial for me. The entire staff is just absolutely fantastic, remembers your name, and genuinely cares about your health and you as a person. We love going 2x a week for a cardio bump. They are killer workouts and you leave feeling so accomplished. Everyone at this location is so nice, welcoming and judgement free. Coaches Ben and Becky are the absolute best. Ben's classes have the perfect vibe for attacking the workout without being intimidating. OT is the only workout I have ever stuck with. When I started, I was a walker and couldn’t run more than 1/4 mile without feeling drained. Now I can run two miles and want to keep going! The ever-changing workouts wrapped in the stable format of three stations and the help of amazing coaches is so motivating. I just show up and do what I’m told! It’s the best hour of my day. The changes in my body are second only to the changes I’ve seen in my mind, spirit, and belief in myself.

I have been attending OTF since 2012, but had a break from 2013 until 2018 for various reasons. By the end of 2017, I was up to 225 pounds and had had enough, so reenrolled and spent the next six months working off the fat and generally getting OTF fit. Since the summer, I seem to be maintaining 170, so maybe that's the new normal for this 55 year old. I knew when I started again that it was just a matter of time before I got back to an appropriate fitness level - all I had to do was keep going to classes. It's really easy if you put the work in. It's a simple equation of burning more calories than you take in. I'm not a gym rat and know I would not get the same results if I tried to do this somewhere on my own. The coach-led classes are exactly what I need to get a thorough and proper balance of cardio and weight training.
