About the Club

P31 is a family owned Pilates studio north of the river. We offer Reformer and mat Pilates as well as fascia classes and private Pilates sessions. Our goal is to educate, empower and create a community of wellness.
Our clients learn the key principals to stabilize and strengthen core muscles and then grow to challenge themselves in more ways. We love ❤️ looking back at their bodies before they started Pilates and seeing their amazing results.
We offer wellness workshops the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Great studio with super equipment. I've known 31Pilates teacher Joann for over 20yrs, attending many of her great classes since she started teaching. Visiting KC this weekend had the chance to enjoy some wonderful reformer sessions in the new studio.

This a definitely a before P31 Pilates and after P31 Pilates story. And one for those who think they are not right for pilates. It is not that you are not right for pilates, it is you haven't found the right pilates studio. I was 56 and 286 pounds when I started. I struggled to do the simplest of life's daily activities, such as walking or stand up from a seated position. I was determined to make changes, but those changes needed the right support. I thought Pilates would be the perfect form of exercise. I did a Google search for a studio near me, I booked a private class with Jo, and found my support! That was 3 years ago, now 59 and 201 pounds. I don't know that I can adequately express how life changing this has been! I made a goal to attend 1 class a week, then 2, currently 3, and would go every day if possible. I have gained strength and flexibility. I am doing not only simple daily activities, but setting planking goals or advanced Pilates challenges. I have also gained a Pilates community, again it's not that you are not right for pilates, it's the pilates people were not right for you. The people of P31 Pilates are truly special and set the studio apart from the others. P31 is the Pilates (and much more) studio for you!

I’ve been going to Pilates with this group for three years now, and I can honestly say it has been life changing for me. The instructors are so knowledgeable and supportive, and they bring such a wealth of experience to every class.
Most of the time I go to Wendy’s classes, and she is truly amazing. With her background in nursing and her commitment to continuing education, she pours so much care and intention into helping her clients. She can even work around injuries and still create an incredible workout that leaves you feeling stronger and more confident.
The other instructors are wonderful as well, and I love that no two classes are ever the same. Every workout feels fresh, challenging, and effective.
But beyond the workouts, what makes P31 Pilates so special is the community. There is such a warm and caring environment here. You are known, valued, and supported the moment you walk in. This isn’t just a place to exercise, it’s a place where people truly care about one another.
I am so grateful for this studio and the amazing people who make it what it is.

I love coming to P31 for pilates classes. They have beginners classes so you can learn how to use the reformers if you’re new to pilates. It’s a wonderful way to build strength and balance. All of the teachers are kind and do a great job helping you if you need to make modifications. I have been attending since February 2025 and really enjoy it.

Wendy and the 0830 T/Th group are amazing! I was looking for a safe space where I could have more guidance with work outs. I have always been worried about doing things on my own and not using the correct posture or hurting myself. Wendy’s classes allow you to have the one on one experience, but in a small class. Wendy is a great teacher, easy to listen to and encouraging, will take you at whatever stage you are in your fitness journey and accelerate that! I love this studio because of the teachers and fellow students. You won’t find a lot or the most up to date equipment as in the more glitzy studios but the teachers know what they are doing and pay close attention to you and what’s going on in your physical body. Have been taking classes here for just over a year. Love the reformer. Great instructors-Wendy, Jo and Katie. I primarily take classes with Katie and she has several wonderful class options and personally works with you to target the goals you’re striving for. She just started a Jumpboard class, which adds a lot of cardio to the Pilates core exercises. I’m hoping some more people find this class and try it so she keeps it on the schedule!!!
