BlackCard Tan Bed review. Was told all new bulbs the previous week on all beds at the Antioch location. Below is a photo of tan bed. This location does NOT have the new beds. I could update the photos but currently they are just as bad as always. Other beds with lights out also. Reported many times to staff. Also, they don’t answer the phone or return calls. 5 min wait to get the new guy to the desk and he tells me 5 minutes for him to clean a bed! Worst Black Card perks Planet Fitness in the state. I travel. This is the worst.

I’ve worn my crocs in planet fitness for quiet literally years and today when I’m working out mid work out one of the workers rudely interrupted me by telling me I can’t have crocs on the floor. I didn’t say anything to her and she asks me if I have other shoes. So I politely told her to leave me alone I was leaving but I’ve worn crocs in here for literally years. She proceeded to follow me to my gym bag then watched me leave. Do better.

I am disabled so I only use the black card spa here and the staff is always so accommodating and patient with me using all their machines. The manager there even greets me by name when I walk in the door. I also use Barry Rd and their staff is amazing as well!

Why is this location closed at 10pm? I have visited PF across America and seen all of them operate with one person at night as an attendant. I saw Zero hiring signs up at this location prompting for overnight position. There are people in and out of PF all day, i would think at least one might want a job? I travel all over the country and regularly use PF in other cities, I tend to rely on Planet Fitness to be an anchor point after my travels. One of the bennefits of having Black Card membership i most appreciate is the convience of 24hr availability. Please hire more staff or lean out the shift to accommodate or split the overnight shift. Otherwise the staff that was present, was pleasent, patient and friendly. The facilities were generally clean. Thank you

The functionality of this gym is non existent… I’ve been to 30+ locations and never has one been so congested- not even with people but equipment in the middle of the floor… manager said— they don’t have strong enough people to put equipment back after moving- so all the equipment you just have to walk around- but then if you try to do that- there’s people in the way- I’ve come to this PF since it opened- and it was never like this- I have no room to even do a walking lunge or some flys….. let’s get some stronger people to put the equipment in spots where you can have a functional good workout o stead of fighting for a small area that isn’t functional.

Terrible place to workout without offensive distractions. People workout in flip flops, crocks, sandals. Or they take their shoes off and walk around in their socks. I don't know about you, but I don't want to deal with their foot odor. I get enough from some of their body odors. The shoe policy is definitely not enforced in this gym, and I'm tired of reporting as well as people carrying their gym bags on the workout floor. Last week, a friend and I were approached by a new manager who asked about our concerns. However, he walked away when he disagreed with some of the concerns. " I don't have time for this... you're being too picky" he said as he walked away.
I have been a member since before COVID. I'm already looking for a different gym as well as several other members.

It's convenient and affordable, and the staff does their best to keep up with everyone. There are still minor annoyances like dudes hogging machines too long or not cleaning up after themselves. I mainly go for the massage chairs though so I'm glad those are usually always open. Just hard not to feel like just another number in such a big place.

Update: why do I continue to come here? I intentionally left 10 mins at the end of my workout for the Hydro-bed. The girl at the front desk said ‘They’re closed.’ I said ‘’the facility is open for 10 more minutes and it only takes 10 mins.’ She said, with no expression ‘we closed them 45 mins ago.’ What a joke.

The condition of this facility has significantly declined in recent months. A glute machine has been out of order for at least four months, raising doubts about the overall equipment maintenance. The women's restroom has a continuously running and spraying sink that's also been 'out of order' for months. Ceiling tiles are stained from leaks, and hydro massage beds emit a foul odor of sweat and mold. This level of neglect is both disappointing and unsanitary.

The gym floor is dirty. There have been empty water bottles on the floor for weeks. The staff play on their phones all morning and sometimes you don't even get a "good morning" or a "have a nice day" from them. It's a good thing I don't go there for customer service. I'll be moving to Crunch when it opens!

The staff at this particular location are really friendly there. The gym is mostly clean and will kept with the exception of the locker rooms. But then they’re understaffed, and if people would just clean up after themselves and not trash the locker room out I would highly recommend this particular location Getting the black card membership as well worth the extra price too

I once was an over the road truck driver myself, Today being a Monday Of the week. There’s one box truck Five parking stalls. Two tractors each taking up for parking stalls each. That is over 13 parking stalls that us regular client tell that this gym could be using and they won’t be available in the parking lot is full and have to go elsewhere. Truthfully speaking, you’re probably better off going to the Barry rd. They have a lot of huge parking at the machines are newer actually the gym is a lot cleaner and nicer too. Just a side note for the Antioch gym, Just a lot of rude people that don’t care about anything or anybody else but themselves One particular lady always has two drinks sitting on two different machine machines at the same time so she can occupy them back-and-forth while other people are waiting

It's a great place and location and equipment is well kept but when it came time to cancel my membership because I had knee surgery and finances are gonna be short, found out I had to Mail or physically go to my location to cancel or had the option to freeze my account for a bit but I was told since it's due to medical I would have to physically go up there to freeze it. Cand cancel or freeze account over phone or in app you have to go to the location to do so which is an inconvenience especially when it's hard to get out with a bad knee. I canceled my membership on the 13th and on the 17th they took payment out of my account apparently you have to cancel 7 -10 days prior to your payment due date if you don't you still have to pay your membership. Once you cancel regardless of duedate it should be canceled not payment still being taken out.

Been going to this gym since before Covid. They use to have jump ropes but now THIS particular location doesn’t have them. And I’ve been bringing in my own jump rope for some time. I will find me an area free of people and end my workout there. Well, today I was approached and informed that I couldn’t bring in my rope anymore. I then asked could they provide them and I was told no. So I’m hoping that this reaches the right person to be able to get jump ropes in THIS gym! And yes other locations have them.

Apparently I can’t post anything with a review of zero stars, so I had to give it one star. So I came back to Planet Fitness today, and I was disappointed to find out that there is a new rule in place to where my Planet Fitness can’t display the “joke of the day“. Nor are they no longer allowed to display what I’m going to call an “inspirational board”. Apparently they are unable to display any “handmade “signs of any kind. Very disappointing. Every morning when I come in here I look forward to the joke of the day. I understand that this new rule is to promote one on one Communication with the customers. But that’s exactly what the joke of the day did, promoted conversation. Very disappointed in this decision by corporate office. Zero stars!!

Tanning beds are upgraded and amazing. Some of the work out machines are as well. The one and only complaint I have is how hot they keep it in the summer. 5 minutes into my work out I’m soaked and feeling weak from the heat. If they just got the AC fixed they’d be a 5 star. Its a Judgement free zone That Doesnt allow Jump ropes Like who in there Right Mind would go outta their way to hit someone with a Jump Rope let alone what kind a Person walks Into the path of a Jump Rope. Safety Issues arent the issue when u allow Homeless people to loiter outside at 5am. Thats Safe But a Jumprope isnt. Then the Tone and The Approach was way outta line. Im 45 and to be Screamed at was Unprofessional nothing will be Done about this Incident Im sure After today and reading others Im def going to be be looking for a Deal. This planet fitness is very clean, spacious with a nice atmosphere to work out at.
It also has a wonderful locker room for you to shower after your work out or if you are an OTR driver.

The gym equipment is well-maintained and there are plenty of machines available for use at any time. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. Overall, it's a great place to exercise and freshen up after a workout before I leave.

Horrible company with shady practices. I moved away from kc. Outta state to the country and tried having my membership canceled. They WILL NOT do it, and they have been AUTO RENEWING the membership WITHOUT my concent for over 2 years. They refuse to cancel my membership unless I show up in person to the gym I registered at. They give me the run around, they are unprofessional, and they are scummy. I strongly suggest finding somewhere else. They WILL NOT work with you on anything. They only care about your money. Planet Fitness advertises a "judgement free zone" when in reality the only ones judging you here are the employees as soon as you walk in the door. Instead of a friendly greeting it's "hey you can't wear that" or "yeah that water bottle can't be in here". For $10 a month they really act like the creme de la creme. If employees do not change their attitude I will be finding a new gym :) it is 2024, none of us need to be talked down to as soon as we walk into a place to relieve stress!
