Rachel is an amazing trainer! She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I have had outstanding results working with her. Her training programs are extremely thorough and well balanced. She has helped me not only overcome a couple minor injuries, but has set me up with an exercise program to prevent them from happening again. She is very encouraging and motivating, she truly has her clients best interest at heart. I look forward to every training session with her!!

Rachel is not only an amazing trainer and physical therapist, but by far the best I've worked with! After being stationary for so long through the pandemic and working at a stressful desk job, I found my low core and glute strength was causing some issues and running was painful. I went to another physical therapist first, but Rachel got me back in shape and the pain was gone! Not only is she very knowledgeable, she's so caring and encouraging. When you're not feeling your strongest, it's hard to get the motivation to workout, but Rachel made it something I look forward to!
If you're thinking about training with Rachel, do yourself a favor and just do it! You won't regret it!

I was referred to Rachel almost a year ago with hopes of avoiding another shoulder surgery. Her knowledge, patience and encouragement have helped me strengthen the shoulder so I’m no longer in daily pain. Rachel does an amazing job and I highly recommend her!

Seeing Rachel has been the most important decision I have ever made regarding my physical health.
Three years ago I started experiencing back pain which I learned was due to my SI joint going out of place. Through physical therapy I was able to realize moderate improvement, but I never really put it behind me. The issue resurfaced periodically and I stopped engaging in many activities and movements which I believed would put me at risk. This ultimately led to my strength and flexibility decreasing significantly, which negatively impacted my quality of life.
I started to realize that I needed to change my approach. I decided I wanted to see a personal trainer, but given my fear about making things worse, I purposely searched for a trainer who also had a background in Physical Therapy. It was crucial that whoever I worked with understood my condition, so that I would feel safe with challenging my body. I decided to start seeing Rachel because she has extensive experience as a physical therapist and has many outstanding reviews from people with similar, or even far worse injuries than myself.
In just a few sessions I started experiencing massive improvements. Her program, tailored to my specific needs, has strengthened my body in a way that provides the stability, or the foundation needed, to allow me to move easily and prevent injury. She emphasizes exercises to help my back pain, but also incorporates exercises that provide strength to all areas of my body. I am now able to do all sorts of activities that I’ve been afraid of for the past three years. Walking is easier, cleaning the house is easier, traveling with a heavy bag, etc - I just do these things now without constantly worrying. I even started rollerblading, which I thought would be off limits with SI Joint dysfunction.
Gaining strength is one component, but what she has also shown me is that my body is much more resilient and adaptable than I previously thought. Her knowledge of strength and flexibility training is matched by her ability to dissolve the anxiety I have had regarding my body. Nothing feels off limits now. It’s such a huge weight off my shoulders to not be living daily with a pervasive fear that my body will just fall apart should I make one tiny mistake.
For anyone who has been through Physical Therapy, but feels like something is missing, I cannot more highly recommend Rachel.

I had total knee replacement in Nov. 2021. I followed Dr orders and did physical therapy 2 times a week for 3 months in our area and did exercises at home. I felt I was not getting my range of motion and the bending wasn’t there, and I was always in pain. At my 8 week follow up the Dr. mentioned having to manipulate my knee to get the bending to come back. I was talking to my daughter about it and she suggested I drive over to Manchester to see Rachel. I am SO glad I drove an hour to see her! Rachel was so helpful! My surgical knee feels as good as my other knee! I no longer have pain in my knee and my walking has improved too, I no longer limp. Rachel is so positive and encouraging. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and highly trained. She is constantly learning to help better her clients.

My pain management doctor recommended Rachel for some specific PT and strength training. I’ve been working with her for many months and her specialty training program has strengthened all areas of my body that had tears and weakness. I am able to lift weights and play tennis again without compression sleeves, breaks, tape, etc.! She is truly changing me from the inside out. She is also a joy to work with and truly cares about her clients.

Rachel is AMAZING!!! She has done several trigger point sessions on me, and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is extremely knowledgeable, has great conversation, and genuinely wants to make you feel better. I drive over an hour to see her. If she was closer, I would definitely be a more frequent visitor.

I worked with other trainers in the past but got discouraged pretty quickly as I would be sore for weeks at a time after training.
I thought I would try again with Rachel as she has a physical therapy background. I had major spine surgery in 2018 and have been pretty stiff since then.
I've been working with Rachel since January and I am significantly stronger and have never been discouraged. Rachel started me off slowly and has emphasized that this is a slow process, that client's have to be patient regarding progress. We have spent a lot of time with restorative work and stretching and are now more focused on strengthening.
Rachel does an amazing job. I am now completely without pain as of today as the strengthening and rehab work we have done has really helped.
She is incredibly professional, encouraging, patient and knowledgeable. This has been the best investment in my physical health. I would recommend Press On Performance and Training for everyone - those that are long term athletes as well as those who have never trained before and especially if rehab is part of what must take place.

Rachel lights up my day and makes workouts fun and motivating. From a fitness and nutrition perspective she is extremely knowledgeable and the results show! I feel inspired and motivated on this journey. Plus she lets me bring my dog to my workouts! As a very busy business owner, it’s awesome having the extra time to spend with my sweet boy. I can’t recommend her enough! Sign up with Rachel!

Rachel has been nothing short of inspirational. I had a few bad experiences with trainers in the past but she has been ideal in terms of her knowledge, motivation and attention to detail. I've been working with her for about six weeks now and have already dropped 10 pounds. I'm doing exercises I've never done in my life and already feeling and seeing results. I still play ice hockey and can't wait to get back on the ice with this newfound strength and improved cardio. I can't recommend Rachel more!

Rachel is an Amazing trainer. She is very positive and caring, but she knows how to push you to be a better YOU! She has a true passion as a trainer.
Rachel helped get me ready for a total knee replacement. My first therapist at the hospital was amazed at my performance so quickly after surgery. The therapist even said "I wish everyone had a trainer like Rachel."
Her heart for the Lord, shines brightly through her! Rachel's energy is contagious! You will be in excellent and loving hands!

Any trainer can tell you to lift 10 more pounds, or do five more push-ups. What sets Rachel apart is her extensive training in physical therapy, and her deep understanding of the body and how correct form affects our movements and everything we do. Rachel tailors your work out to your specific condition and conditioning to make sure you get the best possible workout in a safe and effective way.

Rachel is a ‘personal’ trainer in the true sense of the term. Utilizing her physical therapy background and impressive knowledge of human anatomy, she designs an individualized training program for each client. Unlike the ‘cookie cutter’ approach you tend to find in the large commercial gyms, Rachel works with her clients to identify, achieve, (and even surpass!) their personal training goals. She takes a holistic approach, emphasizing strengthening, conditioning, injury prevention, nutrition, and general well-being. But most important, Rachel truly cares about her clients and is the best motivator I have ever met. I have been working with Rachel for nearly 2 years and have never felt better! Being a personal trainer is not just a ‘job’ for her, it is her calling to help people be their best and healthiest selves.

After ankle surgery and prescribed PT at different locations, I was still limping, weak, and out of balance. Then I signed up for personal training with Rachel and she changed my life. Rachel focused on not just my ankle, but on my overall strength, flexibility, stamina, conditioning, muscle symmetry, and functional stability. Her knowledge and understanding of how joints and muscles can be coaxed to improvement is impressive, and her care, concern, and dedication to my overall physical well being is inspiring. I'm in my third year with Rachel, and I would recommend her to anyone serious about taking control of their health.

Meeting Rachel just a year ago not knowing she would be the best therapist I could ask for in just 6 months later. I had started experiencing discomfort from probably a minor rotator cuff tear. She was very thorough in explaining what should and could help. She has been able to help me eliminate doctor visits and possible surgery. I highly recommend Rachel!!! 👊🏼

So far I have avoided two shoulder replacements and a knee replacement!
I was one of Rachel’s first clients. And for sure, she knows what she’s doing. I am so much stronger, and can actually feel the difference my exercise routine makes. Rachel is great to work with. She makes sure I understand what I’m doing and has been patient with me as I progressed. As you might guess, I recommend her highly!

I met Rachel 5 years ago. In an instant I knew I wanted to train with her. Rachel possesses the ability to put one at ease and trust in her ability to help each and every person to the best of her ability while at the same time with the expectation that each person give their best. Nine months ago, I contacted Rachel to help me with menisci tears and recovery. We worked together for two months prior to surgery to help strengthen the area around me knee. Through her PTA certification and training as well as her Personal Training experience, she has helped me rehabilitate my knee far beyond what I thought was possible. I will never run a marathon, but now I can continue to become healthy while being able to maintain my love of gardening, strength training, enjoying my family and working.
I am grateful to her and continue to take on responsibility for my recovery while having her to push me when necessary. THANKS RACHEL!

Rachel is not your typical personal trainer! She has a physical therapy background so she is able to identify your shortcomings or injuries and help you address them. I have 3 tears in my shoulder and since working with Rachel, I am back to playing tennis and getting stronger every day. She is so knowledgeable, and I recommend her so highly that my 2 sons are also her clients!!
