Very clean and mostly friendly environment. The times I took my children to the child watch it wasn't great so I don't use it anymore. I was excited to see they were getting more equipment in also and asked their members for preferences on what to buy.

Super nice YMCA, for a little town. Very friendly, helpful. New equipment, clean facility. Handicap accessible. Daycare available. Cable machines as well as free weights. Silver sneaker classes are available.

I've been to a ton of gyms and the Southern Boone YMCA is the one I compare them all to. Absolutely the best....staff, equipment, cleanliness....gold standard.

the facility is really nice, and it has a lot of wonderful equipment. My only issue is that I had an encounter once where I entered the gym to check in, and the guy at the desk (probably no older then 20) said “hey, baby” and winked at me. I’m a 17 year old dude, and it made me really uncomfortable. I’ve never had an issue with the staff before that.

Love going and it's busy with kid after 3pm till 5pm but usually get on and can use most machines when I need to. Enjoy the team at physical therapy also.

Very nice facility with good amount of equipment. Only giving it 3 stars do to the ban on gym chalk. I understand the desire to keep things clean but It's a gym, things aren't supposed to be completely pristine.

Nice, looks like s fairly new facility. Lota of cardio equipment and weight machines. Has a big open room similar to crossfit. Just wish the child center had a room for bigger kids so they didn't have to stay in the nursery.

My daughter LOVES momentum dance! A little disappointed that they are no longer offering any martial arts but hoping more classes like that and others will be added eventually. I feel like they already need to expand not as large of a facility as I would of hoped for but definitely an improvement & continues to improve at a really pretty steady pace for our town!

It is conveniently located in Ashland, has fairly new facilities that are kept really clean, and friendly employees. This Y is mainly a gym, does offer a few classes, and has locker rooms with lockers and showers.
