Loved the pools at the Centre. My husband needed to do strength training, as he has an arthritic hip. The warm therapy pool here was made to order for him. Lisa, the lifeguard helped us in so many ways, showing us how to enter the therapy pool, getting float weights, etc.. This was our first visit to the facilities in Rolla and we were impressed with the layout of all the different pools, lap, walking, etc and with all the programs and exercise equipment in the facility. This truly is a great asset to Rolla, and we drove 45 miles from Owensville to attend the indoor pool. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!! You guys ROCK!

Not worth the price. It's full of an older generation, so we didn't feel comfortable with the kids. The walking path was super narrow. Not a big thing but I wanted to walk with the kids and we would just get in the way of the old folks.

Plus you have to give a months notice to cancel or you'll be charged another month. We joined not realizing all the extra things like swim lessons and classes were another membership price which seems ridiculous when you're already paying monthly.

After several months of membership for kids (considering that the mother was the one who is paying the membership fees), the manager wrote a note that the mother cannot pass the front desk even though she does not use the facilities just watching the kids. That was so annoying action and no money back and you can’t cancel the membership until September. It was kind of scam from the managing office. So be careful or choose another place.

The pool is extremely dirty, there’s no towels or wet mats to walk on. Very outdated pool and pool room. The equipment is basic. This gym is way over priced, especially for as many kids are there. Smells old when you walk in, you’d think being the gyn that charges the most in rolla would be updated in some area but it isn’t. I recommend planet fitness over this one.

I had been a regular member at this gym for years, working out 4–5 times a week. I used to really enjoy the consistency and atmosphere—until something disturbing happened that made me stop going altogether.

About ten days ago, a friend who also goes to this gym informed me that a much older male had been repeatedly standing behind me while I exercised, appearing to record or take photos of me with his phone — especially on a day when I was wearing shorts and doing strength training movements like deadlifts. My friend also witnessed this man following me out of the gym after my session.

I immediately reported this incident to one of the personal trainers after knowing about this issue. She promised a follow-up. Since then, I’ve received absolutely no update, no apology, no reassurance—nothing. It’s been more than ten days, and the complete silence from the gym’s staff is unacceptable.

As a female member, I expected at least a basic level of safety and respect. The fact that a serious complaint involving possible harassment and privacy violation was met with indifference is deeply disappointing.

If you’re considering joining this gym, especially as a woman, I’d strongly recommend asking what their actual policies are on member safety—and how seriously they take them.

The membership is a flat rate per month, with no discounts or deals. It is really only worth it if you are swimming everyday, or if you are dropping your kids off while you work out. Otherwise you might as well go to another gym for a quarter of the price. Keep in mind you also do not have 24-hour access.

The Centre is fantastic! Always clean and everyone is always so fantastic to deal with. The inside track is always a great place to get a nice jog or walk in. The basketball courts are typically available to shoot around or pick up a game. The highlight for me is the pool. I bring my non verbal son here several times a month and the staff is always patient and understanding with him. The pool is always clean and has lifeguards all the time. The slide has been not working for awhile but that does not take anything away from the fun. Thank you ,The Centre, for being a safe place for special needs

Truly a disappointment went in to play basketball with my daughter and they closed down half the gym for weight equipment no longer a full gym and other side of gym one section had volleyball net up no hoops and other side had 3 hoops all of which had 5 plus people playing in them. Brace yourself for one of the most detail and thorough reviews for this facility that you have ever read your entire life. It’s 90f it’s hot the kids are yelling they want to go swimming so instead of going to the river let’s go to the local pool. Load up the kids and wife “we’re going to the pool load up kids” and a way we go. During arrival your welcomed by some nice cut grass and a front desk that only takes cards”thanks covid”. Plenty of space and not many people there but 1200pm on a Tuesday I would expect it to be kinda slow. The pool is clean while not being overbearing with chemicals but during peak times I’m sure there’s inadequate space. So if you made it this far your wondering why the two star rating? Well one is the price $10??? Hell next time I’ll just rent a hotel with an indoor pool. But here lies my main issue with this entire operation they have there. The frog. Beware the frog don’t touch it hell don’t even look at it. Why have a children slide if children can’t even use it. My daughter cried because if she even swam near it your power tripping lifeguards have nothing better to do. So until your frog is removed from your facility I will send my story to every single person in Phelps county and beyond who wants to hear it. You can reply with anything you think is reasoning but unless you gotta actual facts with data save your breath you community tick of a business hiding behind “were helping the community” by lining their pockets with the communities money for overpriced facility and services. The 5 star reviews all come from middle age mothers who have nowhere else to go and is already dead inside. Cheers.

The weights leave some to be desired. Only one smith machine, one butterfly machine, one back/squat rack. The weight area is pretty crammed together and there's not much room. Even with <10 people in there, you're always waiting for something. Good luck getting on the bench press after 4:00. There is not much for ab equipment just a bench and roman chair. A crunch machine and ab swing would be nice. The basketball/volleyball gym is nice as well as the indoor track. The pool is really nice and has an awesome slide, but more kid/family oriented. A larger lap pool section would be nice. Also there is no separate dedicated hot tub and the lack of a sauna is a big downer. A racket ball court would also be expected of a "fitness" center. This is really more of a small gym with a pool then a fitness center. They don't have much, but what they do have is really nice, very well kept, up to date, and clean.

Great place to work out. They have a dumbbell rack with weights ranging from 5 to 110 lbs in five pound increments. They have a decent amount of weight machines, primarily for legs. One set of the large cabel machines. There is also an indoor track of 1/10th mile size that goes around the two basketball courts and the weight room. The pool has a few lanes, along with a lazy river and a water slide. There's a good size changing room for each gender along with a family changing room.
