I cannot begin to sing the praises of Iron Hive enough. Sam and his team have fully perfected the 24-hour gym experience. They are attentive, and the facility is absolutely spotless at all times. I moved to St. Louis in September of ‘24 and was nervous to find a gym but, the team at The Iron Hive went above and beyond my expectations. Sam constantly updates equipment and will make you feel right at home on your first workout. If I wasn’t moving, I would definitely be an Iron Hive member for life. You guys rock!

I recently tried out Iron Hive in Ballwin, and I had a fantastic experience! Best gym ever! They have everything you need, cardio, free weights, functional strength, turf, cables and all the machines you can think of. Stopped in during a work trip and was fortunate enough to meet the owner who was courteous and polite. Gym was clean and has everything you need. Day price was cheaper than competitors in the area and worked via app, so no waiting on the front desk to open.

Amazing Owners. I've been working out in St. Louis all my life, and this is by far my favorite gym. I came from Club Fintness, and I'm so glad I escaped that hell hole. I've been to Riverchase, Xist, Golds Gym, Planet Fitness, and none were as bad as Club Fitness. This tops them all for me and just in the nick of time. We really needed this gym.

This is such an awesome, privately-owned gym. It’s very clean and well organized. New machines were brought in just this past week and the awesome owner, Sam, is always updating things to make it the best. This gym has all the things one might need for their standard weightlifting workout - squat racks, bench press benches, deadlift platforms. For a more dynamic workout, there is a lot of open space (on the opposite side from the machines) with dumb bells, kettle bells, bands, box jumps, ladders, med balls, yoga balls, and other equipment to give so many options. It’s a 24 hour gym and you really can’t go wrong being a member of this community.

If you’re looking for a small boutique-type gym, this is the place for you. It’s clean, intimate and has every machine or piece of equipment you’ll ever need. Because it’s smaller, you get to know the other members and trainers which is nice. You also don’t have to wait for equipment or deal with the bigger gym nonsense. Another bonus is that the owner is on site every day and he forms relationships with each member. Sam, the owner, is always improving the gym with top-of-the line equipment and adding amenities such as a sauna. I would highly recommend checking this gym out. I searched google for an anytime fitness near me yestarday. I drive 25 miles to get there. Lo and behold it’s not an anytime fitness it’s an IRON HIVE gym. Well I see a hottie walking in and I ask her if the manager owner is in? She says yes hold on. Sam came over and asked me nicely what’s up. I told him my story and he said well I’ll let you work out here for free just give us a review? Typically I do not give reviews on google cause all the info they steal from you. This time I said no problem. So my review is as follows. I had a great workout! The management SAM was very nice and was helping all kinds of members. He allowed me to work out however long I needed too. I saw quite a few beautiful woman and I’d recommend this gym to anyone! Good job Sam! Keep up the great place! Honestly if it wasn’t good I would tell you I’m not bashful!

I found Iron Hive when searching google for gyms in the area. I read the reviews, looked at the pictures and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! I came in one evening and was able to catch Sam, the owner. He was very friendly and immediately got me set up with a trial to check out the gym. When I came back to sign up for a membership, he asked me how I liked it and was very appreciative and welcoming. As someone getting back into fitness, outside of a class setting, this was the perfect gym. It is smaller than the bigger chain gyms such as Planet Fitness which for me helped it to be less overwhelming. Iron Hive has a great amount and variety of equipment. It is also very clean, the bathrooms as well, which for me is a big deal especially at a gym! I would recommend calling ahead to let Sam know you are interested in wanting to try out the gym because unless you are walking in with someone who is a member, you won't be able to get inside the gym.

I stopped by the Iron Hive while traveling through MO. It is an awesome gym, with tons of cardio equipment (rowers, treadmills, bikes, stair climber) and plenty of barbells and dumbbells for all your lifting needs. I was checking several facilities before commiting to Iron Hive. Some of them were too big and too crowd. This one was just right! I had one week trial and lucky enough the same time it changed ownership. The new owners treating this facility like a baby. I used to go to this gym when it was previously an anytime fitness and it was great! However, after the management switched and it became iron hive I was too busy to immediately transfer my membership. I just went in yesterday and not only did it look amazing and way different (different lighting, layout, new machines, painted walls), but it was super easy to sign up. Zero experience owners with nasty temperament and very unprofessional. Witnessed Sam screaming, yelling and threatening people over the phone. Tried to give them a chance to prove themselves and they couldn't make it 2 whole months into owning, before catching them in lies and witnessing volatile temperaments. Before this
I brought my son in twice, to talk him innto rejoining. Was a Sunday and no one there to sign a waiver...so I told the owner and next time I brought him in, we signed one. Decided not to continue membership after catching owners in a lie about rates we were promised when they bought the equipment and started their biz. Instead of allowing me to finish my last month I paid through...they canceled my membership by email and told me off. Take a chance if you want. But I was one of the quietest, easy going, twice a day 6 day a week members, with no issues. They have only been in business less than 2 months. What's next?

This gym is very cozy and welcoming. The owners are super fun and friendly and they have done a lot of work in just a short time to upgrade the equipment and facilities. This is probably the cleanest gym I’ve ever used. Definitely feels more personal here than a large chain gym. Everyone is polite and I don’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated working out here. There is a mix of all ages of people that come here which is nice. Love it here and would recommend it for anyone whether you are just starting out or a pro.

I used to own the previous gym here. I sold it to Sam and Z. They have done such an incredible job. They have totally changed the look/layout and added a TON of new equipment and amenities, without changing the main reason people go here, which is the low-key, relaxed atmosphere. They keep the gym THE cleanest gym in St. Louis, too.

New gym in Manchester. Owners have really stepped up and equipped the gym with plenty of machines and weights. Members get a key and can come anytime day or night. If you are tired of the corporate franchise gyms, come to Iron hive.

Great gym! All fitness levels welcome. Great for someone who just wants to get in a solid workout without any silliness. None of the drama like the place down the road. No packs of teens wandering around or people making their own workout videos. None of the silly drama you see elsewhere. Owners are laid back and very supportive of your goals. You come in, get it done. They've fixed up the space and added new equipment. Laid back atmosphere with great people.

Love this gym so much, have been going for years and always said it was like home to me. Once the new owners came, it even got better. They make you feel like family which is the most important part about it.
The equipment, lights, mirrors and overall atmosphere they keep bringing into the gym is the biggest reason one should join the Iron Hive Family as well.

I love this gym it’s so clean the owners are super nice and supportive. The changing/shower rooms are super clean and I love how they’re private for members who are not comfortable changing in front of other members. The hive is accessible 24 hours a day which I love because I can go before or after work, whatever my schedule is for that week.
