Very shady company. Over a year ago I had to change my card information and forgot I still had a membership at this gym. After three months of payments I realized I was still getting charged. I walked into the gym and paid off the three months and proceeded to CANCEL my membership. Well now over a year later of them sending payments to my old bank account I get a call fron a debt collector saying I owe them $213.60. Somehow my membership was magically not cancelled. This dropped my credit score over 100 points. Just go to Planet Fitness 5 minutes down the road. Way cleaner, cheaper and a better gym all together.
It's hilarious how there's multiple one star reviews of people claiming this exact thing but they're still in business.

Poor customer service and unexplained charges. Nobody responds to messages and they don’t return phone calls. Getting ahold of owners is impossible and front desk has no communication skills.

I love working out at Strength Barracks that offers a positive gym atmosphere with a variety of training equipment and programs to help me accomplish my workout goals. I had decided 6-7 months ago to make a lifestyle change by getting a membership to The Barracks. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. I had trusted The Barracks to train both of my athletic children during their high school years, so it made sense that I would trust them for myself. The gym is open 24/7 and works around my work schedule. They have state of the art equipment and enough of it that I rarely have to wait to use what I need. The best part are the owners. Peggy & Randy are always encouraging me and acknowledging the effort I put in. They have never made me feel inadequate for what I didn’t know and eager to give advice or instruction on my workouts, form, or nutrition. The facility is always clean and their staff are always welcoming. The Barracks is not just a gym, it has become my therapy, church, and family!

I started personal training with the owners Randy and Peggy after I plateaued on my fitness journey on my own. Randy has helped me tremendously with my food choices and macros and Peggy has taught me so much about lifting, different exercises and so much more. I’m making incredible progress and meeting goals and have never felt better. I’m now off metformin and my doctor is so pleased with my lab work. Not only are they wonderful but their other trainers Rachel and Jayden are always willing to help if I’m working out in the gym on my own time.

I joined the gym in April and beyond happy with the results I have so far. Randy is extremely helpful and full of information, I've learned so many things about fitness and nutrition. The gym itself is different than any other place I've ever worked out. Everyone there is really one big team just pushing and helping each other grow and do better. Can't say enough amazing things about this gym.

I searched far and wide for a gym like this in the area. Really high quality and niche equipment that most gyms don't have. Everyone here is invested in your betterment both inside and outside the gym. The owner and head trainer, Randy, is far more knowledgable than most trainers/coaches I have encountered. To top it all off, it's such a mixed bag of people. There are younger people training for sports, to older people just trying to lose some weight, and everything in-between. You get the first week free, so I suggest coming to check it out, you won't regret it!

This gym is really the best! When Randy tells you what muscle a particular exercise targets, that is exactly where you feel it! He also explains the reasons you do things and takes the time to help you get the proper form. I am going to the gym to work on my fitness, not necessarily to lift a certain amount. As a trainer he works with you to help you reach your goals. It is all about the entire body, fitness and health - diet, chiropractor, yoga, sauna. This is different than any other gym experience I have had. It may seem intimidating to walk in, but it is not! People are at different levels working on different goals but everyone is friendly and supportive. Try it, you won’t be sorry!

I highly recommend this gym! I've only been lifting since October 2018 and my gains in strength and knowledge has surpassed what I thought was possible. The atmosphere is inclusive and progressive. The positive energy is felt from every member (young or advanced in years)! That says something about the coach and owner Randy. If you are tired of the results you aren't getting, come by, give something new a try and you won't be disappointed.

Came to the Strength Barracks last year in april. Coming in at 152lbs, the gym helped me to put on muscle and lift weight in a way I only dreamt of. I now weigh 205 and am in the best shape i’ve ever been in. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for motivation or wanna get fit.

I’ve been working out here for about 2 months and I love this gym! I used to workout at the YMCA 7 days a week trying to gain muscle, but I’ve noticed more of a difference in my strength while going to the barracks 4 times a week. 10/10 recommend! Plus, the coach is amazing and so is the environment in the gym!
