Update: After taking a break for about a year I'm back in the gym. Nice surprise at the Aurora location, there's more equipment with a remodel and even more new equipment on the way. Still my favorite gym in this area. Being open 25/7 is a big deal to me.
Great place to work out with a decent selection of machines and weights, plus a sauna, tanning, yoga, and more. The best part for me, they're open 24/7.

Renovations are happening here and you can tell they still care deeply about keeping it clean and safe. Both gym-goers and staff are very mindful and keep their spaces clean. I wish they had kettlebells, but they still have more equipment than most other places nearby. Other than that there are no changing rooms (they have a shower that is apart of a bathroom. Wish they had a shower that wasn't). Tanning beds were clean and the rooms they were in were nice. I'm not sure what the renovations will entail. I love the size of the building and the array of equipment.

Definitely one of the best fitness centers around! From the quality of equipment to the cleanliness of the facilities, you will not find a better gym to get your fit on! The manager is extremely helpful and actually went out of his way to make sure the equipment I used was clean before I used it. Do yourself a favor and join up with TR fitness!

Overall i feel like the gym is great. I enjoy going and have been a member off and on for a couple of years. I have a few complaints but they arent enough to keep me from coming. I would still recommend membership to friends and family.

Complaints
#1: bathrooms arent very clean. There is times when i walk in and avoid the rest rooms at all cost. You can clearly see where people have picked their nose and whipped it on the walls. On many occasions the toilets have hair or urine on the seat. The floor around the toilet definitely is victim of a spraying. I dont use the tanning beds but would have concerns about the cleanliness of those by the shape the bathrooms are in. I understand logistically there isnt someone there 24/7 to keep bathrooms clean.

#2: I would say the majority of the time the paper towel dispensers located around various places often tears inside the dispenser. This makes it difficult to access the paper towel to properly whip down the equipment.

#3: i see alot of people struggling to get in and other members will open the door for them. ( ive never had a issue with the thumb reader. Not once.)

Positives
#1: anyone i have ever had dealings with that works here is very helpful and pleasant.

#2 Great mix of equipment

#3 maintenance on equipment is great. Ive recognized that padding is be changed out which is nice.

#4 temperature inside has been great

#5 the availability to schedule your gym time around your schedule is nice. The 24/7 platform is always nice.

Basically overall a good place to call your gym home. I just use rest rooms at local businesses to avoid them here.

Finger entry to the building does not work all the time. All members cuss at it as they walk in. Will staying outside fighting at 4 a.m. in 4 degree weather for longer than I want to admit in the mornings. If other members let you in because your fingerprint is not working or because it is cold they will suspend both fingerprints until you both can make it in there during hours they have an employee available and that is exactly what they did to my 15yr old son and I. And depending on where you work may mean taking vacation. This could all be solved simply with just a key fob key like Anytime Fitness or the YMCA uses. Young employees seem to not understand having a job where you cannot easily take off in the middle of the day. Also they do not issue refunds if you want to cancel your membership.

Went and spoke to them, apologized and they let us back in they said they would issue us a code, code was not issued, call back apologized again got the code issue. Used it the next day work fine, following day did not work at all stood at the door and called both numbers on the sign one number didn't answer the other number did, the number that answered made me apologize for letting my son in and then proceeded to get on to me about this Google review told me it didn't seem fair to him and I spent eight minutes on the phone with him at 4 something a.m. I explained to him that's just how I felt. He notified me that at the end of my membership that I've already paid for they won't not let me renew. He says it's not over the Google review but because I apologize 4x over letting my son in that is also a member I can't see what else it would be at this point. To harass someone like this is ridiculous. I apologized the first time the fourth time seems harsh I just want to workout and I don't want to stand outside at 4 AM.
Also thier response says I let nonmembers in and that is not true just my 15yr old and I would let each other in and WE ARE SORRY! And if it's on cam look over my son and I go straight to the same two ellipticals every morning. We are not from here and know no one yet. Also I posted my response from your parking lot after coming in to apologized for the second time, so that part of your response is also false. Also they did not contact me I had to show up at 4am to be locked out. Your response on here sounds like your going to be vendictive to my son and I for posting our experience.
Also if they would have just talked to me and accepted my first apology I would not have given a bad review, I would have just felt bad for putting them in that position to of had to call.
Long story short they kicked my 15 yr old son out and told me "they guessed I could finish my membership" but I only workout with my son so I never went back.
Also their equipment is not new or even close. It's old and used. The elliptical has a port to charge an iPhone 1.

My husband and I decided to get a gym membership to get healthier. We debated between the Y in Monett and TR Fitness. We ended up going with TR because it is closer to us and more affordable. We have no regrets. The staff is friendly. I love that it is 24/7 with security cameras for safety. They have all the equipment that we would ever use.
