Love our TR fitness!!!! I love how I don't have to drive far to get there and they offer a lot of options and classes! Their prices are great as well.
Update: 8 months into having our new gym and love it just as much. The staff are great and Monday cardio class is awesome! Great friendly staff as well.

The gym looked alright at first glance but after working out there once the problems started to show through .

The biggest issue the gym has is they don’t have enough 45lb plates for the gym. I had mentioned that when sighing up and the manager had said that “ I try to keep enough on every machine but people take them to other machines and don’t bring them back”. After going there on a Sunday afternoon and walking the gym I definitely didn’t see any machines with a bunch of 45’s on them. Some had one set and others had none on them. Between me and one other guy we were using most of the 45’s the gym had. I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be at rush hour.

Also the day I went they had a ton of dead bugs all over the floor. If I wanted to deal with that I would just train outside.

The gym is also set up kind of poorly. The free weight benches are placed right under extremely bright un covered lights. So you better bench with your eyes closed is you want to be able to see when your done.

I think this gym would be worth it if you didn’t have a car, but if you do, I’d drive somewhere else. Its probably cheaper and has better equipment.

We have used TR in Rogersville since the day they opened the doors. Staffing is FANTASTIC and helpful no matter what time of day, Jadrien is also always cleaning and caring for equipment as needed. As an individual training for a body building competition coming up I am at the gym every single day and I also utilize the tanning beds daily with no problems. I highly recommend this location and thankful they brought a TR fitness to Rogersville!

I really like this gym as I am at just about as much as I am home! It is always clean, well maintained. The staff is super nice and outgoing, and if there is something wrong or something breaks it is always address quickly to get everything back to par! If your considering getting into the gym TR fitness is a great place to start your fitness journey!

I usually go to a different location but i was in rogersville today so i decided to check out this gym. The gym its self is really clean and i like the layout of it. My only complaints are how the leg extension machines shin pad didn't seem straight and the range of motion is not the best. The abductor/abduction machines range of motion isn't the best as well. Everything else i tried out on my leg day was great and i love that all the equipment is new.

TR Fitness is the best gym I’ve ever joined. Their prices are reasonable. I feel safe going by myself as a woman. The equipment is always well taken care of and kept wiped down by all who are there. I never have to worry about the tanning beds because I know they are sanitized after every use. At some TR fitness gyms they offer classes and I love their kickboxing and ZumFit classes. TR Fitness is by far the best fitness center I have been a member of. I've been a member of TR Fitness for 4 years now and have loved every minute of it. I'm an avid gym goer and they make it very convenient to workout and the gym is always clean. I have been a member of other chain gyms in the past. I never felt comfortable at them. I stepped into TR about 10 years ago for my kids to train in BJJ. It's not just a gym. It's a whole new family. It just has this warm feeling, safe and secure. The owners are wonderful people. The staff is always pleasant. The faculties are well maintained.

I visited TR Fitness on Monday evening around 6 PM with the intention of adding a membership for myself and my sister. Unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. The staff member working at the time, a woman with short blonde hair, did not greet us and simply stared at us until I initiated the conversation by expressing my interest in a membership.
I was unaware of the age limit for the family add-on, which was frustrating as I believe family should not be subject to such restrictions. Nonetheless, the staff member's demeanor was notably curt and unhelpful throughout the interaction. When I inquired about the types of insurance accepted, she responded dismissively, saying, "It’s a process. I have to enter your insurance information into the system to see if we accept it. But usually, I just tell people to contact their insurance and figure it out on their own." I found this response unprofessional and unhelpful, especially given that I was already at the gym and had been denied the family add-on due to the age restriction.
Additionally, while the staff member repeatedly mentioned the gym’s free classes and tanning services, I learned that the classes don’t start until the end of February, and the tanning bed was out of order not even a month in of them opening. The gym itself appeared generally picked up, but it could benefit from more thorough cleaning, such as vacuuming and dusting.
Overall, I believe this location would greatly benefit from retraining its staff on providing more polite and professional customer service, especially considering the financial commitment required for membership.
