Looking for a change in my fitness journey, I joined Village Strength and Conditioning about 2 months ago. I'll be honest, I was nervous the day of my first class because I had never done group fitness/crossfit before. However, immediately as I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles, high fives, and encouragement from everyone in the gym. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to ensure form is correct to prevent injury but also willing to modify your workout if you need it. Village has now become my second family. I love being surrounded by people who will push me to my limit. The workouts are hard but they are easier when you family encouraging you along the way.

I *never* thought I was a group fitness person until I found this gym. If you told me a year ago that I'd be doing crossfit-style workouts, including Olympic lifting, I'm not sure I would've believed you! Yet, here I am...doing them! I know that even if I'm really not in the mood to exercise, once I get to the parking lot and hear the music from the previous class thumping inside, I'll be glad I showed up. Without exception, the coaches are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. Sam is an incredibly talented coach who makes even 6 a.m. classes fun. ;)

I LOVE working out here! The coaches are phenomenal at providing helpful feedback on form and technique as well as pushing us to get a killer work out in. The community is so welcoming and friendly. On top of that, the gym is clean and the equipment is well cared for!! Couldn’t ask for a better gym in COMO to be a part of 🙂

I started working out here at the age 55. I was terrified. Maddie and Jacob were so friendly and welcomed me and made me feel so comfortable. I never in my life thought I would be able to do Olympic style weight training/ functional training. But here i am doing the work. It's an amazing group of people. There are not enough superlatives to describe this gym. I am so glad I joined.

I joined Villiage Strength and Conditioning at the beginning of December and have been thoroughly impressed every time I’m there. I was familiar with two of the coaches, Sam and Ian, from another facility and know both put technique, safety, and athletic goals at the front of their mind. The other two coaches, Jacob and Maddie, exhibit the same mindset.

The coaches and members are friendly and welcoming. If you choose to join Villiage and follow the program, you will see results and meet your fitness goals.

We've been thoroughly pleased with our decision to switch to Village in December. Maddi and Jacob are incredibly welcoming and supportive. Having previously worked with coaches Sam and Ian, we can attest that they are excellent coaches who create a family-like atmosphere in the gym. As someone without a fitness or wellness background, we've emphasized the importance of movement for our entire family, including our youngest child. Thank you for embodying the phrase 'it takes a village' at our new gym home.
