They allow for way too much slow play. For what they charge they should have a marshal that moves play along. The staff is great, course is great, but until they solve the slow play problem I'm not going to play there often.

Fun course and well maintained. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition and running pretty fast for having rain the previous day.
Carts are old gas carts but go the job done. We rented 4 βproβ sets and got Qi irons, Elyte driver, Spyder Putter, and a Ping hybrid. Other buddy got a newish Titliest set. All in good condition.
Overall, great experience, with views of the mountains and fall trees.

As a board member of Hope & The Holidays, I want to extend our deepest thanks to Bridger Creek Golf Course for hosting our annual charity golf scramble since its inception 15 years ago. Their continued support has been instrumental in helping us raise critical funds to support families in need across the Gallatin Valley during the holiday season.
Special thanks to Mark and Jon, who have been true cornerstones of this event year after year. Their dedication, generosity, and hands-on involvement have helped make our fundraiser not only successfulβbut something our community looks forward to every fall.
Bridger Creek is more than just a beautiful courseβitβs a business that embodies what it means to give back. Weβre incredibly grateful for their partnership, and we encourage everyone to support local businesses like Bridger Creek that help strengthen our community.

Dropped by on my golf tour. They found a way to plug me in. Wish I had time to play all 18. Also wish they had a senior rate but maybe they'd loose too much cash flow?

The course was great! The bathrooms however were disgusting. If you like to use a restroom where it smells like 3 week old urine, then this is the bathroom for you. The staff was not very pleasant either for people coming from out of state. My wife and I came from Iowa for vacation and found this course to play. I brought my own clubs and my wife used one of their rental sets, or as I would call it, a hodge podge of lost and found clubs. Each club was a different brand, had different sizes of grips (one was so slick I don't know how someone could keep ahold of it). All this for a round that was over $85/person. I would expect a little nicer set of rental clubs for that price. No GPS on the carts either. This is 2025, add GPS.

I love the course and itβs always in great condition. But why pack it in? Throwing random groups off the back for 9 holes completely backs it up. Turns the round into 5 1/2 hours

This place has a little bit of everything for all skill levels. Whether it's the decision-making required on the latter part of the back 9, to the esthetically pleasing first few holes that meander along the creek, you'll no doubt enjoy this track.
Not to mention, you can tell the grounds crew takes great pride in their work, as the place is always in great shape!
Won't find a better public course around Bozeman.

The course is pretty solid for a public golf course in Montana. The question I have is why don't you clean up your website? Why isn't there an actual calendar with all of the events for the day or month on there? With all of the camps/tournaments/events that Bridger Creek has it seems like it would alleviate many unnecessary phone calls to the proshop. Even Cottonwood posts all of the week's events on their Instagram page. It's 2024, get with it BCGC!

Joined the menβs golf league back in 2020 and Bridger posted my email and phone number to the internet. If I had known this, I would never had joined. Even after repeated requests to remove
my personal information, the 2020 golf list still remains on the internet and they refuse to take it down for some unknown reason. They have no consideration or respect for personal information.

Bridger is one of the nicer public courses in the Gallatin. The only downsides are how crowded it can get with pace of play restricting driver sometimes. The greens are very nice, fairways are great, and there is lots of variability in shape, altitude, and difficulty.

Highly recommend this golf course. Bridger Creek has a beautiful layout at the base of the Bridger Mountains. There is just enough water & tree hazards to keep it interesting, but many holes are wide open & allow you to grip it and rip it. The elevated holes on the back 9 provide some nice vistas. My favorite is the par 5 hole 13. The greens are well maintained and roll true.

Love the course but the pro shop leaves a lot to be desired. I called to ask about purchasing a specific driver and asked if they have a demo they said yes. After drove across town to swing they decided it was a good idea to give it out for use. Absolute waste of my time. I like to purchase local however I will be order the desired club instead.

On a recent visit to Bozeman I decided to play a round of golf at the Bridger Creek Golf Course. From the moment I arrived until I left the parking lot a few hours later the experience was fantastic. I spent the first few moments enjoying the wonderful view of the mountains from the sidewalk in front of the clubhouse. Mark, the pro and owner, provided me with a superb set of rental golf clubs and then directed me to the driving range where his brother, Pat, gave me some tips for improving my golf swing. I joined three other gentlemen for the round-one from Colorado, one from Minnesota, and one young man from Bozeman. We played a very enjoyable 9 holes on a beautiful course which is challenging, fair, and very well kept. I can highly recommend the Bridger Creek Golf Course for anyone travelling through the Bozeman area. I'm sure Bozeman residents are already aware of this fine jewel in their city.

I love the Bridger creek course. Between the 2 public courses in the Bozeman and 4 corners area Bridger is just more enjoyable. The course has a lot more trees, water and turns where cottonwood is basically straight back and forth. The customer service in the pro shop at cottonwood is a little friendlier than that of Bridger creek which is usually staffed with younger employees that are not always the friendliest but they are capable and good at their jobs. I would give Bridger 4.5 stars if possible but as it is not possible to do a half star I think Bridger creek is closer to 5 stars than 4.

This has definitely been the greatest overall experience I have had at a golf course. I am on my last day of a trip and I'm really glad I finished here at Bridger Creek. Mark is probably the nicest person you could ever meet, the staff seemed really great. The atmosphere here is unbelievable, and the course is beautiful. I honestly can't believe how reasonable the rates are here. I have played many, many courses all over Montana, and this is easily the best for the buck. The greens are amazing! The course is not an easy one, you earn every par, and you have to hit almost every shot sweet to get birdies. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the game. I will definitely be back, hopefully a couple times a year. It is definitely worth the 200 mile drive!
