Great course ran by great people. My son and I drove up from Wyoming for a late season golf day and could not have been happier with the day. With it being mid November they had complimentary snacks and drinks for all their guests, that was definitely a first. The course was in excellent shape for mid November the greens rolled well and the fairways were well cared for. If you're looking for a nice course ran by a nice people book a tee time and come play.

I arrived for work and, upon my arrival, headed directly to the golf course with my luggage in tow. Janet at the pro shop kindly offered to hold onto my bags while I enjoyed a round of golf, as I was unable to check into my hotel until 5 PM. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Additionally, the golf course was in excellent condition.

Absolutely love Eagle Rock! Fun and challenging course. The management is awesome and always very kind. Iβm very new to golfing so lessons were a must and Iβm so happy with the coach/instructor. My golf game has progressed quickly with their help. Dane is a phenomenal golfer and Iβve enjoyed learning from him. Aaron, Zack, and Gil and all great guys who always have a positive attitude. They have my business for as long as Iβm in Billings.

I had the most enjoyable Sunday at Eagle Rock. I stopped by planning to play 18 holes by myself. Lanita greeted me when I came in and was very pleasant. The staff is fantastic, from the pro shop to the guy cooking delicious burgers and hot dogs. The instructor Gil was about to go out and golf and invited me to come with. If you are thinking about learning how to golf or just become better, he is your guy!! He is very patient and a pretty entertaining guy. Long story longer, very impressed with this course, and although I live 1.5 hours away, will be golfing there steadily. These guys do it right!

Spent the weekend in Billings and couldnβt pass up another round at Eaglerock β my second time golfing here, and it just keeps getting better. I came out for a lesson with Gil (heβs the best!), and of course, got to hang with his awesome dog, Bubba.
The course is in great shape β super well-maintained with a layout thatβs both scenic and fun to play. It strikes a nice balance between being approachable and offering a solid challenge. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it pristine.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is welcoming, and Gil makes learning the game actually enjoyable. Eaglerock has definitely earned a top spot on my list of favorite courses. Canβt wait to come back!

My biggest problem is the price for what you receive, 69$ dollars per person with a cart is entirely too much. Between the bug infested course, rude employees, lack of food options and terrible pace of play this is more of a 40-50$ kind of course.
I used to play this course a lot many years ago and it was always fun and was one of the best public courses in the area, but it seems they have had some management issues . I do hope they get everything figured out because it is a fun and beautiful course; but for now we will not be back.

Golfers Beware!! They don't spray properly for Mosquitos so you will get eaten alive!!! Other groups were coming up to us begging to use our Mosquito spray..and even that didn't work.
I hear ya, $60 @ 330pm is ridiculous to get eaten alive!

Fun course to play however the green fees with cart for $79 per person is absurd. For not having the amenities of other courses they are the highest priced in town. Would love to play more however can not justify the price.

From tournaments to weekend rounds with your friends, Eaglerock has you covered.
The amazing practice facility to warm up, inviting and open clubhouse. What more could you ask for? By far, the best maintained public golf course in the Billings area.
And when you finish your round, they have an amazing wrap around patio where you can watch everyone finish while enjoying cold refreshments.

It's a workers right of way course. They will not stop mowing or working or moving. They do Not care that you're golfing, teeing off, putting. Doesnt matter.
Cost more than it should under with such discourtesy, also since it's so far out there and doesn't seem like a popular course..
They have also given up their liquor license, so it's a dry course. Can't even enjoy a nice cold beer on the turn :-/
But decent carts and a for the most part will kept course.

The course is great and keeps improving. With that said, there is something missing. Not sure the price is equal to the product they provide. Slow play, lack of membership options that are realistic are two examples. There is room for growth.

Fun course. Fairways were well cut and ball set up nicely for approach shots. Greens were large and a good amount of undulation. Greens held the approach shots well. Overall a fun experience and worth the price. Great staff and very helpful.

Iβve played here several times and usually thought fairly highly of this course. On July 20th we had a 5:33 pm tee time. Itβs a Saturday so we expected it to be busy, plus they offer twilight rates. Our expectation was to be a little backed up on the course. To say it was backed up would be the understatement of the year. We got our cart and started heading to the first tee at 5:30. A foursome is just now teeing off and a single is behind them. I thought it was weird that a foursome was teeing off 3 minutes before our tee time with no visible hold up. I asked the single if he was paired up with us by the pro shop. He told me he decided to tee off from hole 10 earlier and heβs making the turn. I told him my tee time was at 5:33 so he would have to tee off behind us, and he did. We were waiting on the foursome, like normal, the first two holes. The third hole is when the lines began. Every single hole after that was stacked up two and three groups deep waiting to tee off. I guess the foursome really had just been scheduled 3 minutes before us. The greens were very fuzzy, hadnβt been rolled maybe ever, and the amount of tee shirts and jean shorts I saw out there, made it look like a par 3 course in a farmers field. My take away from this 2 hour and 40 min 9 holes, is that Eaglerock only cares about revenue ( the lady in the pro shop will tell you that they pair you up with random people so they donβt lose revenue), they stack tee times for twilight at apparently 3 minute intervals, and when I told the guy who asked how it was out there, he just said βyeah a 6 some was playing very slow and wouldnβt let anyone play through, so they also allow sixsomes. At $35 for a twilight tee time I thought we were getting a good deal, but it turned out to resemble a form of mild torture more than anything golf related. All in all itβs disappointing because I actually thought Eaglerock was a nice course.

First and last time I golf at Eaglerock. Overpriced and poor quality. There is a rude old guy who follows you around and berates you if you come within 30 yards of the precious greens. His witty comment of βdo you need a handicap stickerβ was the last straw. Unprofessional and disappointing.

Great place to play golf! Some holes are very technical for the advanced players, while the majority or the course is fairly user friendly. An all-skill level type of place that is very friendly and accommodating to its customers! Also the views of the mountains all around is breathtaking! Canβt say enough good things about this place, one of my favorite places to play golf!

Beautiful morning on the last day of May. Golfed the back 9 and found the following:
-Three holes had ball washers
-Two of the three were dry
-Tee boxes full of trash (mainly broken tees)
-Toilet at 4/12 a disaster
This is my favorite course in Billings and it would not take to that much effort to do better

Entertained 3 friends at Eagle Rock last week expecting course conditions to be similar to Fall, 2023. Very surprised to see greens nearly unplayable & fairways rough & dry. Nice to see some of the rough is mowed which should speed up play. Greens fees are the same or higher than local private courses which makes no sense as the private courses are all in impeccable condition. Hopefully course conditions will improve throughout the year. Another drawback is the fact that Eagle Rock is currently unable to sell alcohol or food items. Looking forward to noticeable improvements.

I have golfed ar Eaglerock on several occasions in past when traveling through the area. It was always well maintained and a enjoyable experience. However this last Wednesday, it was a totally different experience. The greens were absolutely the worst I've ever played on. They hadn't been mowed or rolled after being punched quite sometime before that. The fairways were dry and hard. The range balls were an absolute joke, they were so old that they didn't even fly right. The $60.00 green fee should not have been more than a $20.00 bill for what your experience was. They no longer have a Liquor license or have a menu up above. I'm not sure what has happened with the management of Eaglerock because I always looked forward to playing a round out there with my friends. I take no pleasure in writing this review, my hope is that they correct whatever is going on and it becomes a great golf course again.

Great course. Not as forgiving as some since it doesn't fold back on itself as much as others which means your wonky drive goes into 3' high weeds rather than landing on an adjacent fairway. Nice clubhouse. Actually has a marshal keeping an eye on things unlike a lot of other public courses around here which is nice. Overall I really liked the course and would recommend it.

Nice course, but each time Iβve been here itβs been super slow. This last round we waited about 5 minutes each hole, and about 20 minutes to start the back 9. Only saw the marshall once at the beginning of the day, but he probably couldβve been out making sure everyone was playing fast enough.

Gil Benavidez is a great coach and has helped me a lot. I just started golfing this summer, and can already keep up with some of my friends that have been golfing for years. Each time I see Gil I get ten times better. He has helped me find the equipment that works best for me, sent me links to products I might be interested in. I even bought some used clubs, one was bent, and Gil had it fixed right away. He is great at finding all the little things that are wrong with your swing, stance or grip. Not only does he help me hit the ball better, but he also teaches the importance of your attitude. He makes the lesson fun, and after leaving the lesson I am more excited than ever to get back out and practice. Eaglerock is also beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend!

When I started playing here they were def. Super strict about 2/9 play. In recent years they seemed to have more patience with it. As of 2023, best maintained public course in the billings surrounding area by far. I played at the end of May and all their grass was green and the for the most part, all the same species. Can't say that for all the other courses around. They also have the best twilight rates around. It is wide open, not mts or large hills near by. Whatever the weather looks like, that's what it's going to be. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

The sunset was AMAZING as we walked around the whole golf course for our nightly stroll, so relaxing and beautiful!! Staff were friendly and golf clubhouse was a warm atmosphere too. The carts were nice and they have the option of electric bikes to ride the course also. They just got 6 brand new bikes in today actually. I'm pretty jammed to go try them out. It was $49 for 18 holes and a cart. Download their app and you will get things like beer cheaper too. It was my first time here and we really enjoyed the play. Overall the golf course is not bad but some of the older men who play there are very rude and inconsiderate of other peole. They are loud and make rude and unnecessary comments so others can hear them while playing about other golfers. Not everyone plays golf every day and can be fast and accurate. Because of those older men who could not act like gentlemen I will probably never play there again or even recommend this course to anyone.

Enjoyed a company outing at Eaglerock. They provided great rates and outstanding service. The staff were very helpful in organizing our event, even with adding an extra player the day of. They had our carts set aside, and our food waiting for us upon arrival. The course itself very fun to play. Lots of challenging shots, yet achievable for beginners. Eaglerock is a favorite for me and my wife on the weekends. After 3 o'clock, 7 days a week, it's only 25 each with a cart, making the price hard to beat.

Will NEVER go back. Dishonest management. Will not honor their own coupons! Now i understand why there is only 3 vehicles in the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. Wouldn't let me rate this place 0stars, that's why the 1star rating

Well I didn't get to play the course. The Richard that runs it threw a fit when we stopped at the clubhouse to by beverages and noticed our little cooler of ice. It is currently in the hi 90's and I'll be darned if I can't have a cold drink while I golf. We got our money back and had a great evening at a far friendlier and nicer course.

Eagle Rock is a course that you need to play a few times to get used to. There are some narrow fairways and challenging drives. A dry June has made the entire course rather firm. Good for roll but hard to hold a green. Lots of incentive to stay away from the lake named Rattlesnake Lake. I have only seen one in the dozen times I have played here. Tuesday morning Senior League is a fun time and reasonably priced.

We had a family party at Eaglerock out on the deck and the sunset was beautiful! We always enjoy the atmosphere out there and the owners are incredible and are always pursuing excellence in customer relations. I'd highly recommend them!
