Where do I begin. Clean functional and professional. This is a place where you train your physique not pose for your Instagram stories. I have been working out for 40 years and I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a gym where each and every person I saw was working out in a specifically functional way, and not just putting on weight and trying to build some unnecessary size. Very impressed. Passing through town this place makes me want to move here just to work out here every day.

MUST is awesome. I've working out here for almost a year now. Great place for any kind of training, especially if you have a difficult time with crowds as it never gets too busy. Courteous members, friendly staff and 24/7 member access is the best!

I had an absolutely amazing experience going in for an assessment and working with Mike. Even for an assessment of an hour I learned so much about ways I can correct my movements, and ways I can continue to build strength. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and very accommodating as both him and V have developed a workout plan that works around my busy travel schedule. I can not recommend training with Mike and V enough! I am so excited to continue working with them, even from afar.

This is the cutest place in the whole damn world and on top of that about a month ago I witnessed some homophobic behavior. I told the staff and then the owner handed it in a way that made me feel comfortable. Everyone here is on their business in a positive way.

Really really solid gym. One of the few places left where the whole gym just cares about getting better and being healthy, not an influencer in sight. Everything you need in stock, perfect for any kind of strength training, CrossFit friendly, cardio machines, etc. great people running the place as well.

No BS, solid gym. Rolled through town as an overnight stop and a short-notice day pass was no hassle (that can be rare sometimes). Clean facility and I will definitely return if I find myself in Missoula again.

I was traveling through Missoula this past summer and dropped into MUST for a couple of days, and it was such a pleasant experience! Not only are all the staff incredibly kind and helpful, but they are also extremely knowledgeable in their craft. This is a very well-equipped gym, and the environment is very inviting. If I lived in Missoula, I would DEFINITELY purchase a membership and continue training there. And if you are traveling through, I would highly recommend MUST for a drop in:)

Meh. It's okay. The positive reviews posted aren't false. They have a range of great equipment. I signed up simply because they have the only reverse hyper extension machine I was able to find here in Missoula. It's great for your lower back. The gym is rarely packed because they have a membership cap. Staff is also friendly & helpful.
Unfortunately the parking is very limited, the membership fee is $50 per month, there's just one bathroom in the facility, the changing stalls in the change room are tiny, & the music is super loud. If I crank my headphones up to max volume I can still hear their music on the speakers, it's so inconvenient. I suggest going as a guest a few times to get a feel of the place before committing to a membership.

As a total novice in the gym, I felt very comfortable working out here. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The MUST Fit training program has changed my life - my mobility and strength have improved far more than I could have ever imagined and I no longer live with neck/shoulder/back and hip pain. This is an excellent gym for all abilities and ages.

Amazing trainers and an incredible community. MUST is hands down the best gym in town. Google asked me to update the original review today (original review being the first two sentences). I'm not entirely sure how since it's so on point. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Attended traditional gyms for 10+ years and this is hands down the better option to go with! Versatile equipment, room to do your own thing and plenty of traditional equipment! Great environment and staff.

Joined this gym as a relative beginner looking for a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I definitely found it. The staff is helpful, friendly and supportive. The facilities are clean and spacious. All of it really makes the gym-going experience something to look forward to.

Side note: I'm currently working with the personal trainer Evan Claxton. He's giving me a solid foundation and the confidence to continue training on my own, which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!

My friend and I dropped in for a day pass - which is valid for 24 hours btw. Everyone here was so nice and friendly, all the equipment is top notch, the facility is super clean and in good condition. Highly recommend dropping by if you’re in town. MUST has almost anything you would need for strength training or strength sports of any kind: powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, cross training, etc

MUST gym is hands down one of the best gyms in town. Mike Scialabba is a pro, definitely the best trainer I have ever had the privilege of working with. My husband and I both have injuries from work and extra curricular activities and Mike worked with us to focus on strengthening and gaining more movement in the injured areas so we could then build up our strength and lean into a healthier lifestyle. He is by far the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever experienced. He needs to write a book. Check out MUST gym if you are serious about your wellness and getting stronger. Highly recommend.

3 olympic platforms
1 rack
1 deadlift platform
2 benching stations
2 dumbbell sections
plenty of machines
cardio stuff
a member cap to keep it from overcrowding
spacious warehouse floor plan
This place is perfect if you want to lift weights and not have to wait or feel pressured to get off them quickly.

I was a MUST member for several years and loved it both at its original location and it’s current spot. Due to life, I took a few years off from gyms but now that it’s time to get back to it there’s no other gym I’d rejoin. In the years I’ve been away the vibe has stayed the same and the space has just gotten more excellent. Tons of space, great staff, plenty of equipment. Glad to be back and really appreciate their work to make an environment that really makes it easy to achieve my fitness goals.

One of the best gyms I’ve ever been. This gym set up is very much like the THOR gyms set ups that the Army Special Forces have. The equipment is great for Power lifting, Olympic lifting and Body Building. The environment in there is very family like. The hospitality is great. Mike and Jane are the heart and icons of the gym for sure!!

The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, and awesome people to be around while you train. This gym is 24 hour access and great to interact with the staff when speaking to them about scheduling. I will be making my third trip back to Missoula to train again as I cant say enough good things about owner Mike as he will take the time to speak to you. No matter if your goal is to simply stay fit during vacation, to train like a athlete, or to meet Paul and learn more about USAW this is the gym that you're looking for!

I've been a member at the Source and Fuel, and been to a few others in town, and for me this gym is absolutely the best. It's not over crowded, you'll start to recognize most people there and feel like more of a community than in a bigger gym. They have 5 squat racks and 7 deadlift/Olympic platforms, (3 alone, 4 as part of the racks) and even a glute ham raise machine and two heavy bags. They don't have very many machines, (which is fine by me) but if strength training is your thing, this is where you belong.

It's all business here. Great lifting gym. Tons of equipment, plenty of room, and 24 hour access. Never have to wait for a squat rack to open up since there's 4 of them. Good community. If I got to design my own gym from scratch, it'd look a lot like this.

Mike does an excellent job of running this place. Happy to be a member!

If I could design my own gym, the layout would look something like this. No fancy weight machines and little cardio equipment. Lots of empty turn, lifting for platforms, kettlebells, punching bags. Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

I have been a member of many different gyms in Missoula as I continued my fitness journey. I've gone to Gold's, the Y, the peak, and snap fitness. I needed a place to train that would complement my newfound jistu training. I walked in to MUST off the street, curious about a place I've not heard much. First, what MUST isn't...if your idea of a gym is pretty cardio machines with tootsie rolls on the counter, this isn't for you. If you're more interested in your phone than your set, MUST is probably not for you. However, if you want results, and you're willing to put in the time and effort, MUST is the place to be. MUST is where you go when you get serious. Just about every type of equipment that matters is here. And the SPACE. SO MUCH SPACE. ALL THE SPACE. I've rarely seen a gym with elbow room. But the best part? The people. Respectful. Knowledgeable. Friendly. I feel like I belong and I feel like a valuable part of something good. The knowledge that is available is top notch, and I recommend this gym to everyone. Snap fitness will always hold a special place in my heart, but right now I'm right where i need to be.

The best gym/gym community I have ever been a part of... and I have lived all over the country and have had memberships at many gyms. When I moved to Missoula, I didn't know many people. I joined MUST because of the professional trainers, the space, and the variety of exercise equipment to use. Shortly after joining I realized how warm and friendly the members of the gym are as well. I made friends quickly and felt at home in a town that was until recently very foreign to me.

This is a gym for all levels of fitness, and the folks here are very supportive. I would suggest any one interested in fitness to join MUST.

I have been a member for the last 3 months and I couldn't be more pleased. My experience has far exceeded my expectations. The committment Mike, John, Holly and the rest of the trainers show to me and all of the members is unbelievable. I have and continue to refer my patients to MUST as I feel the program they have there is vital to one's health and quality of life. Thanks so much, keep up the good work!!!
