Great little gym. It has an excellent variety of equipment and the space is utilized extremely well. There are all the standard amenities one would want from their gym plus more, like a body scan analysis machine. Easy 24 hour access, a functional app and super friendly staff. First off I want to say how much I really enjoy going to Anytime fitness downtown ! Very convenient . The best part of the gym is Kalder my trainer who absolutely amazing I recommend him to everyone for training and just overall great conversation . He has taught me so much since I have been training with him and he is very patient with me and all my mishaps and he works with my mishaps which I have never found anywhere else at any other gym . He is overall an amazing man ! I appreciate him more and more Everytime we train . So thank you Kalder for everything . This man definitely deserves good things to come his way through this company. Blake, is also very amazing and very helpful as well and he knows his stuff . Blake also makes funny videos which I love , and they do little competitions from time to time they both are a joy to be around to talk to and to work with .

Went to Anytime Fitness in Downtown Omaha and it was nice. Not too busy, clean, and the usual choices of equipment I've come to expect from AF. I would have liked to purchase a beverage after working out without having to use Venmo. The staff member had just left. It would be nice to have my parking validated. I wish they had a seated row machine. Those are just nice-to-haves not complaining. On the other hand, they did have a Life Fitness stair climber and a nice ab machine. Overall, a well cared for facility with a working water faucet and at least two showers.

With the recent remodel, the downtown Omaha location is amazing! No more orange walls, and with new cardio equipment as well as additional new lifting stations, all are top notch. In addition, at age 65, I began training sessions with AF trainers last fall. The current club manager and trainer is the best. I have trained off and on through the years, and only recently have I felt amazingly strong and seen significant progress, physically as well as mentally! Incorporating strength, muscle stretching, along with breathing techniques has been truly transformational in my progress. Something I thought I would never do, I signed up for a 6 month training package, something I never would have done without seeing and more importantly feeling strong as a result of my current trainer and program! Definitely worth checking out this AF location!

This has been a very reliable gym! I was a member of my old gym for 10 years, but when my work schedule changed I needed something that was open 24 hours. I found my match! This gym is smaller (both in size and number of members) so it might not appeal to people explicitly looking for larger, warehouse size areas with dozens of people. But, it also makes things more focused, and I've never been there with more than 10 other people, so the competition for equipment is always low. This gym is also more training focused, with coaches that are highly knowledgeable and down to Earth, and will customize whatever fitness goals you want into achievable milestones. It's also close to the interstate, making easy access! It has all the main machines, dumbells, racks that a gym should have, and for the price it's a good deal with friendly clientele. Try the week long free trial if you're interested!

The newly renovated facilities are great for your essential gym-needs (and more). Clean building and equipment. The people that are regulars here are pretty friendly which makes coming in extra motivating. Mostly everyone just minds their own business and are focused on getting their workouts done. Not a fan of this small gym, waste of time & money. The app is not accurate with how many people are in the gym, trying to find less busy times. They weigh you & tell you your progress which is nice sales point to rope you in. But they haven't offered this to me in months after missing a weigh in to get my car fixed, life happens right.. Dont sign a contract & waste your money.

I recently joined after being at a larger gym for years. The main concerns I had with my previous were that the times I went, I was competing for a spot to workout or the equipment was not as efficient and they weren’t open when I planned on working out. I really enjoy how “small community” it feels and I can check the app when people are there so I can make sure I’m going at a good time. The staff (Hailee) was super informative and showed that she really cared about my fitness journey. If you’re looking to get away from the “gym bro” or busy environment I highly recommend this gym. It’s 24/7 and you have to key in in order to get into so even if I’m there alone as a woman I feel safe.

I have had an Anytime Fitness membership for years and have been to many facilities in Virginia, Iowa, and Nebraska. This one is by far the best. It's machines are in great working condition, the facility is clean, and it has a cool industrial feel to it (it's located in a brick faced strip). I haven't met the staff because I usually go during later hours but they have reached out time and again. Would absolutely recommend.

The above was my review 9 months ago. As far as the big remodel referenced in the response below, it still isn't completed and it is literally only 1/3 of the gym. The rest looks exactly the same including dumbbells that have seen better days. I do applaud the replacement of the treadmills. One of my beefs is that there is never solution available to wipe down the equipment. See pic. Those are all empty. For $50 a month it's not worth it.

Adding. Today I went to this gym and there were 2 guys screaming and grunting like pigs. They would be thrown out of Planet Fitness. I couldn't tell if they were working out or having rough sex.

This gym is problematic on a number of levels. First, unless you are in walking distance from it, expect to pay for parking, which, depending on your frequency of gymgoing will be higher than the gym membership.

Secondly, while I understand they are doing some renovations to the bathrooms, there was a tangible mist/smell of mortar and drywall dust in the air.

Thirdly, while the new bathrooms don't appear to have showers in them, the one shower was located in a community bathroom. Not ideal, but whatever. While the shower itself had a door, it had no locks so unless your purposely making loud noise while changing, anyone can easily just walk in on you, "accidentally" or otherwise.

Finally, and the most egregious really was the lack of and quality therein of the equipment. The multipurpose room was barren, and the equipment on in the main room was lacking.

I spent about 10 minutes here and then just drive over to the AF in Council Bluff which was a radical improvement.

I've been a member at this location for years, and it continues to go downhill. Nothing is cleaned outside of the floors and bathrooms the cleaning service does, the equipment is 5-10+ years old - new ownership has promised for 2 years to get new equipment in there. The new ownership the last two years has went through multiple managers, countless personal trainers, and is unprofessional to converse with - probably leading to the revolving staff. Up until the last two years, I have loveeedd this gym. The pics seen here are not even of this location, nor is the staff pictured. Also, they now change the same as Genesis and just took out the one amenity they had - being the tanning bed. The AC is broken all summer long the past 2 years as well, so be prepared for hot hot workouts. 2 stars instead of 1 is moreso because I loved it for so many years prior.

As a tenant in Old Market Lofts I’m very frustrated by this Anytime Fitness. There needs to be quiet hours for the battle ropes. They are tied to the building and my 5th floor apartment shakes at all hours of the night when they are used. Very rude and inconsiderate.

Good place to go. Very nice to go to during the day before 3pm, picks up after that. For such a small place they have a very good variety of equipment. Treadmills, bikes, free weights, very good core equipment like trx bands, ropes, an area dedicated to isometric and core work. They do only have 1 squat rack but the do have a separate area for deadlifts. Good assortment of dumbbells, alot of weight machines and a tanning bed too. It's more laid back then Genesis Club and less intimidating. Glad I got a membership. Hope that helps.

It’s a smaller gym, but I NEVER have any issues using equipment. Things are always open for me to use and believe me, I go everyday. The parking is really nice too!! Very close to the front door. This has been My home club for 1.5 years but before that my home club was the NW Omaha location since 2013 Both locations happened to be owned by the same couple. Anyway, it was really hard to leave my original location but I quickly felt just as comfortable at the downtown location. Everyone is friendly. I’ve never been creeped out by anyone. The club is clean and well maintained. It’s also nice to be able to use other clubs when I travel. Thanks for being a great neighborhood gym for us downtown residents!!

I have been a member at this Gym for 6 years when Tanya and her team took over the place was in need of a major remodel by knocking down walls and applying fresh ideas. Tanya took every idea I suggested from the day I met her and made the gym a spacious and comfortable place. The ideas the team had and have applied has made my time at the gym a pleasant one. Chessa operates the office and is a major help when taking care of the gym and is typically the first friendly face you see when walking in. I like to have familiar faces I can count on and trust when I am somewhere for an extended period of time. I will never go to another Gym it has what I need to make a difference in my fitness. Owner & management are understanding, had life events (out of my control) - divorce & cancer. Had zero problems cancelling.
Went back after the dust settled & had no issues beginning again.

After reading reviews, looks like I'm not the only one with issues in cancelling. Was told we can call or text to cancel as we are military. We lived in Old Market Lofts, and prior to moving, we cancelled. We noticed they've been charging our account for these memberships, despite moving and despite cancelling. Haven't used a facility anywhere once because WE THOUGHT IT WAS CANCELLED. The unwillingness to work with us on their mistake and making it "our fault" saying we didn't cancel properly clearly shows the poor customer service and skewed morality of the owner where they feel entitled to our hard earned money despite their wrong doing. I feel like something shady is going on given the amount of reviews stating this issue. A lot of military, like us, including us lived/live in OMLofts and I will strongly advise them NOT to use this location.

Pros: Plenty of equipment, location is great for downtown, and staff are friendly. Cons: Parking is always a struggle so if you live downtown and can walk great.
The reason for 3 stars is in regards to the gyms membership/cancelation policy. Like several others I've recently moved out of state. I gave ample verbal notice but didn't realize till after I left, they wanted it in writing despite me not using the gym in over 2 months. Maybe I was partially spoiled from my last Anytime location. As an out of state student they fully understood my needs and were very kind in working with me, including canceling over the phone. My last Anytime also charged very fair market value prices for their fitness drinks, and foods. This gym does take about a 30% markup over your general retail or even gas station prices. I understand the need to run a profitable business but for those who join this gym be prepared, they will squeeze out every penny. I do however still recommend as good option for those who live in downtown Omaha.

I've checked out this Anytime with a friend a couple of times and it has all of the basic machines, free weights and cardio equipment you'd expect but not much more. There is a small recreation room equipped with some equipment for more dynamic exercises such as a TRX suspension system and some jumping boxes. Overall four stars just because the place is a little small so I could imagine it being kind of annoying when it gets crowded.

I joined Anytime Fitness at the beginning of February and I am loving it so far. The 24 hour access is awesome, the equipment is great, and the atmosphere is nice. I never have to wait for the equipment I need, and they have almost every machine and equipment I want. (Except a stair stepper) I looked around at many gyms before joining here and this was by far the best option for cost, quality, and offerings. I'm excited to check out the other locations as well.

Facility is good. Unfortunately canceling a long term membership (5-years) met with a bad experience that left a bad taste. Not only did I need to appear in person, but because of business travel that delayed my appearance for 3 weeks the price of cancellation was $120.00. Additionally the, "key fob," deposit did not get refunded.

The new management should consider how they treat their customers, especially in this day and age of internet reviews. Based on how I was treated I would have given 0 stars if possible.
