Blue Moon Fitness is not your typical health club and we want you to understand that up front. Our goal is to treat each member and guest the way we would want our own mother treated if she was in a gym 500 miles away dealing with strangers. We would want her treated with love, respect, and kindness. That doesnโt mean that she would get her way โjust becauseโ.

This is one of the best values for the money when it comes to gyms. The Equipment is serviceable and there is always enough available to use.
However rating two stars because if you forget your headphones you might as well just go home. The music they blast here is awful for trying to get a workout in. Iโd rather them play no music than being Rick Rolled at 6:40 in the morning.
If you like lifting heavy weights to the likes of ABA, Rick Astley, or The Beach Boys this place is for you!

I joined this gym back in early 2024 and left this year about a few months ago. I did genuinely enjoy the gym atmosphere at first when I first joined and what they had to offer. There were a couple of employees that I liked to get to know and talk with. But once they started going to 24 access things have felt different. There's so many things that have upset me about this place. First, I find it ridiculous that you have to pay more for 24 hour access when Crunch that opened up down the street gives access to even the basic membership throughout the week. Second, the gym equipment has gone down hill. It is clearly very old equipment just by looking at it. Some times there is equipment that will be broken and takes ages to get fixed. Third, I cancelled my membership back in July and was fine with being charged in August due to how their cancellation policy is. Comes September and I was charged twice. I went to the front counter to explain that I got charged, checked to see that they didn't fully cancel my membership and said that they will refund me my money. Come October and still no refund. I had to go in again and was told that they will get me refund and STILL NO REFUND. There is no way to email them which I find ridiculous. I am sick and tired of having to waste my time to go in numerous times to be told the same thing over again. I have bills to pay and need that money. It's sad that it takes for me to write a bad review to see if I can get money back.

Need more handles, something needs to be done about the lack of people here. it's becoming a ghost town not sure if management or the owner cares that they are losing clients left and right. I like this place and would hate to see it go I have 2 memberships one here and one at crunch I prefer to come here I like the staff and the people. Fix your stuff before you have no more clients and advertise online, word of mouth is over. Post on Facebook, instagram, Snapchat do something it's better than nothing at all. Updating the website may also help fresh photos also... feel free to ask me anything else I think would help

Blue moon fitness is ridiculous. It is so hard to cancel this membership. I had to try 4 different times over 2 years to finally get free of this place. While Noelle at the front desk and the manager Miranda were super helpful and did everything they could to help, this place made me call, email, and come into the front desk on multiple occasions to get this complete. Calling them for assistance was almost nonexistent as the first time I got a AI agent who wouldnโt let me speak to anyone at the location about not receiving the email they told me I would get. Then I didnโt receive it a second time as well. The next time I called I couldnโt even get through to the AI agent. Communication is impossible. There are so many better gyms with more integrity that should get your business. (Noelle personally gets 6 out of 5 stars!)

Worst experience with the staff and especially the general manager caleb.
They won't tell you about hidden charges and simply scam you after a while where you can't move backwards.
"The manager is too rude He tried to threaten me that he would send his collection agents to get my cancellation fees.

Please never go to these Gyms!!!! You will regret it!!!! Multiple times attempting to cancel my membership I was told needed to wait for a manager and to come back at a later time. I waited in my car with my neighbor stalking the manger to arive. After days we finally caught the guy and canceled our a memberships at the same time. We were told everything was done and we owed no more money. Months later I get a collection notice for $133. Both of us are really angry and ready to drag this out. We both witnessed what the manager said.

I'm very dissatisfied with the lack of assistance I'm getting from both Blue Moon locally and Blue Moon corporate in canceling my membership. I went in person to cancel and was told it was. However, it is going on over 3 months of attempting to cancel the auto deduction from my bank account and to get a refund back of those funds. I've made several attempts by phone and email and getting no response or resolve. I would strongly advise not conducting any business with them. Go elsewhere for gym services.

Don't open an account here unless you want it open until you die. I've gone in person to the gym 3 times trying to cancel because we've moved out of town and I'm told every time there's only 1 person able to cancel. I come in when he's "supposed" to be there and conveniently he's not. Don't try calling either, "Luna" is the most unhelpful AI system on the planet and won't transfer you to an actual human being. Steer clear.

I do not recommend this place. I signed up after my surgery to better my recovery journey. I never actually went in to exercise. That same week I signed up, I requested to cancel - in person. The front desk employee told me my membership was canceled and that they would have to charge me the first month which I was fine but then they continued charging my card. I went back to confirm if my membership was canceled and why they were still up charging me but Kaleb, the manager, didnโt give me a cancellation receipt or information on why I was still being charged. Kaleb insisted that I see one of his trainers, but I told him multiple times I wanted to cancel. I left frustrated and felt like I was taken advantage of.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do NOT join this gym!
Iโve been trying to cancel my membership for years after moving, and theyโve made it impossible. You can sign up for the service online, but canceling? Good luck. The only two options they give are: showing up at the location during business hours (which I canโt do) or sending in a certified letter. When I tried to get details on how to send this letter, no one would tell me what it needed to include or where to send it. So, here I am, paying for a membership I havenโt used in years, with NO way to cancel.
I tried contacting the company through their websiteโฆ that was like screaming into the void. I left a message LAST WEEK and only just got a call back today.
The manager who finally called me back, and she was extremely rude. The conversation got heatedโsomething Iโve never experienced with customer service before. Honestly, if she had been helpful or nice, I would have understood that this is not a policy SHE wrote and would have tried a different avenue, but the way she spoke to me says that she has this conversation a lot with people and has had zero training in handling calls.
There are thousands of gyms out there that are nicer, cleaner, and far better managed. Any company that makes canceling a membership this difficult is clearly trying to trap members who want out. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!

Apparently the rude and unprofessional behavior displayed at thier locations is learned behavior from the corporate office.

Went in there on Thursday and was greeted by a nice lady behind the counter told her I was going to get a membership and she walked me through it with out asking me a ton of questions and she was knowledgeable and got me set up and it was not a problem. Some of these gyms are really pushy about signing up for this and that she was very helpful and yes she asked but stopped when I told her not now. Hopefully my visits go well there

For the most part it is a good gym, the staff is friendly and the equipment is good as well, but one guy at the front desk, I don't know if he knows how to work the cash register or not but every time I want to buy something he tells me that the cash register is not working and he says that with an aditud! Went in to cancel my membership in September but the employee Sam did not put it into the system apparently- I received no calls, emails or charges to my account until Thursday 12/14 when Caleb the manager called to let me know my account was not cancelled and I had a balance due and did not tell me the amount- he asked me to come in Friday 12/15 to meet with him, but he left the gym before our meeting with NO NOTICE FOR ME. I then had a $180 charge on my account for a membership I thought I cancelled months ago. Today, a wonderful employee named Ira assisted me with cancelling my membership around 8a, left my contact info for Caleb to get ahold of me in order to get a refund and still have not heard anything back and it is now 10:15. Horrible management with poor communication and employees that donโt file things that should be filed.
Avoid this gym at all costs unless you want your money taken out of the blue!

On Aug 1st I went in person and canceled my membership. Then today Aug 5th I went to check my bank account and they still charged me as if if still a member there. Like I was warned that this is would happen to me, but I was hoping it was not true. I have the email saved and screenshot of the document saying I HAVE fulfilled my 12 month contract! It's a shame i have to leave something like this, but when i had came in looking for a day pass i was told to get a week membership and cancel it before the week end and come in to cancel and do so for the cheapest option. So i did, then a month later, I learn I've been charged several times for a more expensive membership when i was told it was a weekly one that i had already canceled, so i went in and the employee who signed me up either misread or told me wrong to get more commission. i dont know. But the fact that the assistant manager (who was very kind) didn't have access and couldn't help should be a wake-up call to administration to re-look on how complex they make their contracts. I was told one thing and had to go in 3 separate times and not get refunded after i had gone to initially cancel it. Maybe some restructuring needs to happen there, but that's just so much for trying to go in on ONE day. EDIT: Got called by the manager and went in a FOURTH time. It was a nice meeting, but even HE can't issue a refund. I got offered some free membership, but my business was already elsewhere, i was looking for a simple refund. So this review will stay here until that happens. Just being transparent, again, nice manager and assistant manager. They just dont seem to have access to much.

I enjoy training with Nate Gill as he puts together creative and well rounded workouts for the small group training classes. Heโs also very knowledgeable of the equipment in the gym for personal training sessions. You can pretty much tell him anything about what you want to work on and he easily puts together effective workouts on the spot ensuring youโre doing the moves properly to get the most out of personal training time.

Iโm satisfied with how it was handled and am happy to return to Blue Moon and enjoy the same relaxed, positive environment I enjoyed previously.

While I was a member, I did love the gym. I had to edit my review because of the hassle of canceling. I moved out of state in June 2021 and forgot to cancel my membership prior to moving - not the source of my complaint. I contacted them in July to find out what I needed to do to cancel. I was told to send a certified letter & send to Blue Moon Fitness 10930 Emmet St Omaha, NE 68164. He also mentioned that I could avoid the cancellation fee if I canceled after September 2021. That was fine, and I waited to send the letter - much later, as I got busy with life. I had no complaints at this time, other than they really do need a more convenient way to cancel the membership.
I sent the certified letter on 12/20/2021, USPS left a notice on 12/24/21 at the gym informing them that delivery had been attempted and instructions on where to retrieve the letter or reschedule delivery. This is where I have a problem, and it has yet to be resolved. Blue Moon never made arrangements for redelivery. I was charged an annual fee on 1/3/22, as well as club dues on 1/7/22 and 1/21/22. The gym membership should have been canceled in December, and I should not have had any charges in 2022.
I filed a BBB complaint 1/4/2022. Blue Moon responded on 1/5/22 stating that they would refund me if I provided proof that I SENT the certified letter. I PROVIDED THE PROOF IN MY INITIAL COMPLAINT. I provided the receipt that showed it was sent on 12/20/21, and I sent the tracking that showed deliver was attempted on 12/24/21 (the gym was open and it was during their operating hours on 12/24/21). They have not responded again, have not refunded me and continue to charge me.
The membership was canceled on 1/5/22, and I understand that the cancellation policy states they will continue to charge you for the entirety of the month that you cancel in. HOWEVER, I should have never been charged in January and the cancelation should have been taken care of in December. It is beyond ridiculous that this is still ongoing and they have not resolved the issue.

If you're going to train at a public gym this is the best one. It's always clean. The one thing I like about it the most is that all of the people that work out there are friendly. It's without a doubt the best reps per dollar you're going to find in this town. Don't even bother reading the low star reviews these people are cry babies. ๐ข if you want to train and improve your life it's at Blue Moon.

I wrote a review a number of weeks ago. With the Omicron variant now a problem I have to reverse my take on the venue. Depending on the location it can be crowded. The last few times at this gym we were very close to other folks using the equipment. One room in particular was so crowded we had to wait to use some of the machines. While we wiped our own space down it was not the surface that concerned me as much as the air and what I was breathing. I stopped my membership for now. I will say that if it weren't for COVID it is a venue I found to be very condusive to getting fit and remaining fit. This has absolutely no reflection on Dana, my trainer.
In addition please read the agreement very, very carefully - even the "plain English" version they give you. I came in on an anniversary special. I believe I paid something like .40 cents for their 40th anniversary. Don't quote me on this but it was under a dollar. Turns out they then take out $40.00 for the first initial fee after they get your checking account info. I came in on the $21.40 every two weeks deal. Fair enough. But, when I elected to terminate my membership before the year was out due to the new virus variant and the crowded conditions that were increasing I was charged over $50.00 payable immediately. I complied but was not pleased. Today I looked at my checking account and saw three withdrawals for $21.40. I called and asked for a refund. Nope. The rep told me I'm on the biweekly plan and there are three Fridays in December. No refund. And not the twice a month they told me when registering.
They are super friendly, of course, when you are about to join. I was rushed through the process, which is nobody's fault but my own. But that they do rush you through is disappointing. Lesson Learned.
My advice if you wish to join this club - take the free times they offer and take time to review the membership small print. Ask questions.
PS I was wondering how these large fitness clubs stayed in business during the height of the virus. It didn't take too much thinking to realize that a large percentage of members don't bother to stop their membership payments even if they are not using the gym. This happens for a variety of reasons: going to use it again and don't want to lose the special deal they came in on; forgot about it; intimidated by the whole stopping the membership process, etc. So, these clubs continue to collect who knows how much in membership fees from folks who have stopped using their facilities. Take the time to do the cancellation process. There will always be another "special membership offering" down the pike when you do decide to go back to the gym.

I have been going to this gym for months. I moved towns but forgot to cancel my membership before I left so I called and they said I wouldnโt be able to cancel over the phone I had to come in person and cancel it but thatโs a problem because I live in another state. I tried to have one of my friends cancel it but now have just been getting charged for months because they wonโt let me cancel it. Finally I got a whole new checking out just to finally be able to cancel my membership. I'm unsure how the equipment is calibrated but some of the equipment are uneven such as the converting chest press and the fly machine the community is friendly if engaged and no one shames new comers if the machines get balanced the rating would be a five star gym.

I can't speak to the quality of this facility, but the customer service is very poor. I called in to do some price checking, as I just moved the area. The person at the front desk invited me to come in for a tour. As a father of a new baby, I don't have any time to waste, so I informed her that all I needed was price levels. She refused, said have a nice day and hung-up on me. This is not a business to trust.

Blue Moon on 108th and Maple is a great location! Friendly staff, quality equipment and it's never overly crowded. There is always someone there cleaning. They also offer the Styku body scan so you can check results with accuracy.

I have to change my review for Blue Moon. I have been a member for 6 or 7 years. Blue Moon does not even come close to keeping customers safe from Covid. Zero enforcement of mask mandate. Many customers walk around freely without masks. While working out is one thing. Science has proven a mask needs to be worn. Especially a gym where everyone is breathing heavy and sweating. I've seen minimal detail cleaning. Partons can do their job too, however this gym is a Covid spreader

I love the people- both the employees and my fellow gym attendees. I always receive a friendly greeting from the staff. There is also lots of support from those I work out with. Blue Moon offers a variety of work out experiences - small group training, group fitness classes, weight machines and free weights, cardio machines. The gym is open every day at hours to accommodate everyoneโs schedule.

I have been a Blue Moon Fitness member for over 30 years. I started when it was Gold's Gym with Joel Potter being the proprietor and he still is today. He keeps his gym in tip-top condition. The equipment is always clean and maintained. If something doesn't work he replaces it right away. The employees are always very pleasant and professional. He honors women for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day in his gym with roses. He doesn't allow "meat heads" who drop weights to work out there. He also doesn't tolerate foul language. He makes coming to Blue Moon a positive experience. It is also very affordable to stay healthy because of his promotions. Blue Moon Fitness is never too crowded and there is always enough equipment for everyone especially now due to COVID restrictions. There is a Ladies workout room and many aerobic classes to choose from. I can't think of one negative thing to say about Blue Moon Fitness. All I can say is, "Try it You'll like it"!

If you're looking for a gym with many options of weight lifting equipment and cardio you need to check out BM!
They have a few different membership options and definitely can fit your budget! Whether you want the platinum membership or the basic, either way you get an awesome gym. Bluemoon north is definitely my go-to gym.
Bluemoon has now updated alot of stuff and have done many renovations throughout the past couple years.
New massage chairs, water massage chairs, new weight lifting equipment, body fat 3d scanner, power plate exercise machine, heart rate bands and more!
Again you can't beat this gym for the price!
Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Love the gym. It is close to home and the equipment is decent. I have been there since 5-19 and for much of that time the 80lb dumbbells have been missing.
