About the Club

Cecile Classical Pilates is a boutique studio dedicated to the principles of Classical Pilates, also known as Contrology, the original method developed by Joseph Pilates. Located in West Omaha, NE we use Gratz apparatus, the premier manufacturer of authentic Pilates equipment since 1940. Our studio welcomes Pilates enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to athletes, and supports those on various wellness journeys, including injury recovery and pre/post-pregnancy. With expert guidance and top-tier equipment, we offer a transformative Pilates experience, setting a high standard of excellence and professionalism.

I can't believe how good I feel after Pilates sessions with Cecile. She is an excellent, attentive instructor who truly understands body mechanics. In the past, I've been prone to injury during exercise. But Cecile truly observes and corrects my form. I feel like I can work hard without hurting myself. I worked with Cecile for approximately one year, doing one on one private lessons. When I moved overseas, I was sad to stop classes, but I am still practicing her Pilates wisdom and techniques even now!

When I started, I was hyper mobile and overly flexible from too many years of yoga. I lacked strength and core stamina, had severe body pain and felt unhealthy and unfit, despite being in my thirties.

Having tried many things to get fit, lose weight and build strength, including personal training and conventional Pilates classes, I finally took a friend’s recommendation to try this specific form of pure Pilates with a one-on-one customized approach.

As an absolute beginner, I found Cecile’s approach to be gentle and professional to meet me where I was and consistently support me to build foundational strength in my body. Her kindness and knowledgeable instruction helped me to grow the discipline and confidence I needed in my body, as well as the immense strength to follow. She never pushed me but always encouraged me to give my best and, over time, my body has transformed under her supervision. Her vast knowledge and the incredible Reformer technologies addressed my body’s unique needs and desires for strength, support, and healing.

I lost weight, feel stronger, am more capable, and all the pains and aches have disappeared!! But most of all, this journey under Cecile’s guidance has helped me find healing in my relationship to my body and empowered me to trust my body again.

Je fais des séances de Pilates avec Cécile depuis quelques semaines maintenant. Je les fais intégralement en visio du fait que plusieurs milliers de kilomètres nous séparent et malgré tout, et je vois une réelle différence sur ma posture, mon bien-être général. Cécile explique très bien. Les explications sont fluides et de qualité. Je n'ai qu'une hâte : venir à son studio pour faire du reformer !! Je suis, de base, assez difficile pour trouver un coach de qualité (il y en a tellement !) et clairement, je recommande Cécile les yeux fermés !
