I have been practicing Pilates for quite some time and although the studio is newer here in Lincoln, I thoroughly enjoy my classes at the Lincoln South location. Lindsay, Amy, Caitlin, Kate and Jodi are all terrific, challenging and personable. They make every attempt to instruct both beginners and those with more experience knowledgeably and safely. All the instructors do their best to make a wide variety of abilities and personalities feel at home and get a good workout too! Thank you! Things are progressing nicely with new ownership as well!🥳

For my very first time after the free 30 minute session I was not yet familiar with the position terms so that was hard to know what to be doing. Hopefully it gets easier but if there’s a way to educate on the positions before beginning I would find that very helpful!

Im a level 1 groupie. Ive been doing Pilates for over a year, but Ive found I just love the encouraging and supportive vibe of the level one classes. With Jodi, we can laugh at our mistakes and grumble at the challenges but she keeps us going!! Kate is great at helping build bodily awareness, so we understand what each movement does for the body. She never fails to target some muscle I didn’t know I had and it’s always the one that most needs to move!! 🩷Thank you!!

I always look forward to my Pilates class! It’s totally transforming my body and I love the emphasis on core strength. I am such a fan of Pilates. As a PT, core strength and body awareness are incredibly important for overall functional mobility. Also as a person who has had many sports injuries, this is a form of exercise that doesn’t hurt. Actually my low back and hip hurt so much less since starting my pilates journey. All of the instructors are very well trained and give excellent cues and modifications. Highly recommend!

Quite disappointed.

It’s not that being on a reformer wasn’t fun, or that I don’t still hope to get into Pilates. The studio was clean which I appreciate. However, being met at the front with “have you ever done Pilates before?” followed by a very unwelcoming & pretentious “we recommend going to the intro level at least 20 times before attending this one” was comedic considering we left the class cold and dry (in my opinion the last thing you hope for when attending a new workout class). The air was tense and the attendees click-ish and cold, which I imagine starts with the instructor. It felt disrespectful to ask the instructor if there were more progressions considering we were hesitantly handed the no-resistance resistance band at the beginning and assured we didn’t have to use it because it would likely be too challenging. If you wear a hoodie, wool socks, and think about politics you might be able to break a sweat. I appreciate the gesture of having a Pilates studio in Lincoln, but feel sorry for the beautiful reformers with wasted potential.

I am not one to write reviews, but my experience at Club Pilates was really disappointing. I was not told that there was a 3-month agreement to stay, and when I tried to cancel my membership several times after paying 3 months they kept on charging me anyway. There was no sense of community or support, and I hope they can improve for others in the future.
