We came over to empower athletics after being with Coach Emily previously at another program. In that time my daughter has gained so much confidence and came out of her shell so much. Coach Emily is truly an amazing one of a kind coach. She pours her heart and soul in empowering young kids and helping them become the best athletes they can be both on and off the mats. She has dedicated so much time into these girls and she doesn’t do it because it’s a “job” she does it because it’s her passion. She LOVES what she does and it shows every single day! We could not be more happy where we are and who we have with us. The parents have became our friends and my daughter has gained so many new friends through cheer! If it’s not apparent how much Brooklynn loves Coach Emily, Emily is often times the first person Brooklynn wants to share exciting news with and tell her about a new tooth she lost. Emily has shown so much love and support to my daughter on and off the mat and shown our entire family so much love and support and if that’s not a testament to the type of person she is I don’t know what is. We can’t wait to help grow this gym and be a part of something new and exciting! If you’re on the fence about joining…..my advice is just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

This is my daughter’s first year of elite cheer, and she has fallen in love with it. She was very attached to me and struggled with independence but she has really come out of her shell! After every practice she tells me what skills they’ve worked on. She is a flyer and has had some instances where she was really nervous/scared. She reports to me that her coaches tell her she is “fearless and brave” giving her the confidence she needs to succeed. While winning is desired in all star cheer, as a parent, my daughter’s growth both physically and mentally, along with having FUN, are what is most important, and I have found all of those things to be true with this gym. My daughter truly enjoys going to practice and getting better each time. Thank you to Emily and all of the other coaches who have helped her grow throughout this season. If you are looking for a gym where you child can grow in their skill as well as their mental strength, this is the gym for you!

EMPOWER ATHLETICS IS THE BEST GYM EVER!
If your looking for the best place to go look no further. This gym has it all and my girls are thriving. We came from another gym in which my girls were extremely bullied and found our Cheer Home at Empower. My daughters would cry because they were scared of going to cheer but Empower has changed that. My kids have experienced nothing but love and support! The coaches go beyond what I have ever seen making sure these kids are thriving and falling in love with cheer. It's not about winning is about the kids thriving and becoming thier best self! My girls have learned more in 2 months than in a year at another club... that's because of the amazing coaches who are constantly building them up. I have never met so many great people who are all supporting their kids and wanting what is best for them. THERE IS NO BETTER GYM THEN EMPOWER... MY KIDS LOVE CHEER AGAIN! That's because of the coaches and the culture!
There are always going to be people who want to tear places like this down but this is a place you can't beat! You will see how much fun the kids are having the minute you walk in the door.

My Daughter wanted me to post on her behalf for her! She said she is very saddened by the false reviews and accusations her gym and her coaches are receiving. As someone who struggled with bullying her whole life and now she is in 7th grade and still struggles at school her cheer gym/family is her safe place and she has always received nothing but love and encouragement from her coaches and most of her teammates. Fortunately for her the only one that she has had issues with bullying was the team member that is not at the gym anymore and had been suspended multiple times for misconduct/bullying. She started cheer as an older athlete and so was not as far a long as other kids so she was scared when she started but this gym gave her a chance where others would have placed her with the younger kids because that is what we were told and where she was in another gym. SHe has flourished on this team and has come so far and has so much confidence and love for the sport and her coaches. This is all due the loving encouraging atmosphere that the gym/coaches give especially the owner Emily! I will forever recommend this gym. They have changed my daughters' life!

This place is fantastic! We have been with the owner for almost 6 years. Her dedication, compassion & overall commitment to cheer & the athletes is like no other. The coaches are also dedicated & care deeply for the athletes.

This is a commitment & dedication sport. If you don’t have that, this is not the sport or place for you. One athlete who lacks commitment can ruin it for the whole team. The coaches swiftly jump to action when this happens, to ensure the routines can continue. They do everything in their power to keep the athletes happy & perform as planned.

We LOVE Empower Athletics and everyone there! This is the second cheer gym our daughter has been a part of, and the difference has been unbelievable, in the best way. At her previous gym, we had to practically force her to go because she was treated poorly and constantly singled out by the owner. By the time we left, she didn’t even want to do cheer anymore.

Empower Athletics truly brought her spark back. Between the coaches and the teammates, she has found joy, confidence, and a sense of belonging again. Coach Emily and Coach Taylor both have such strong passion for these kids and genuinely want to see them grow and succeed as athletes. I can message either one and always receive a response within a reasonable timeframe; they’re professional, supportive, and they communicate in the right moments.

Our daughter comes home excited to share what she worked on, what she improved, and what she wants to focus on next. The coaches even help us parents understand how to support them at home; which is extremely helpful, especially for someone like me who was a choir kid!

One thing I truly appreciate is how quickly the coaches address attitudes, conflicts, or any hint of bullying. They reinforce that they are a team and that every athlete plays an important role.

I can’t recommend this gym enough; the coaching, the athletes, the parents, the environment… everything is exceptional. The growth in confidence and strength we’ve seen in our daughter in less than a year has been amazing. She’s now doing skills she couldn’t accomplish in three years at her previous gym. I reached out to coach Emily regarding one on one training session. When she responded she was very disrespectful and very unprofessional. She seemed that she was more worried about money than she was anything else. The way that she talks to people makes you feel that you and your child are worthless unless you are already on her team. She is just rude and her communication skills are terrible. I would not waste your time or money on this company. Oh and it is more of a dance company then cheer as they do not cheer for anything.

My daughter has been in Cheer sense she was 4 years old!!! She ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT!!! We moved from Colorado to Omaha and she had to take a break while we found a gym here… I got GREAT FEED BACK about coach Emily from someone I met when we moved here and she said she would be opening her own gym…. I decided to reach out and give it a try.. I’m sooo glad that I did. My daughter has excelled so much sense we have started!!! Her confidence has always been SUPER HIGH but after learning new stuff and moving up she is even more confident!! She has worked so hard to better her self and I’m so proud of her for that and I’m also thankful to Emily and the other coaches for working with her PUSHING her and helping her succeed!!! Competitive cheer is not for everyone It takes dedication love and a lot of work from these kiddos and ESPECIALLY from there coaches. Where do I start with Empower Athletics
My daughter has been with Coach Emily since 2023 with a previous company and the minute we met Emily we instantly fell in love with her not only as a person but as a coach..so when we heard she was opening up her own gym we knew that Empower Athletics would be our forever cheer/tumbling gym. My daughter has loved every minute of every practice. My daughter has very strong ADHD and the coaches have been soo patient with My daughter. Coach Emily and the other coaches are very passionate with what they do. This is my daughter 1st year on our Elite level with 1st year stunting and the coaches really are sooo patient with all the girls.
We love Empower Athletics sooo much I have my bonus daughter in cheer on the Prep level.
I highly recommend checking out our gym. My girls will forever grow up in Empower Athletics.

I just recently started going to Empower athletics and I'm on the senior level 2 Allstar team there. I have had very bad experiences at gyms so when working with the coaches at Empower I feel very seen and understood. I am the oldest on my team and I can see how hard my coaches work to provide a safe bully free and positive environment for everyone. They work hard to make sure they are running fair and constructive practices even though competitive cheerleading is an unapologetically demanding sport. I would recommend this gym as great place to start your Childs or your own cheerleading experience.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this gym! My daughter used to be very shy, and cheer completely changed her world—thanks especially to Coach Emily. We first met her on my daughter’s previous team, and when she left we followed her over to her gym it was truly the best decision we ever made. Emily and the entire coaching staff have impacted her life in such a positive way.

My daughter has grown into a confident, outgoing, happier young lady. I get to see a whole new side of her, and it’s all because of the environment this gym creates. The team bonding is incredible—her teammates feel like family, and the coaches pour so much love into these girls.

The coaches are supportive on and off the mat. They are always available for questions, even outside of practice hours, and they go above and beyond to help the athletes—not just with skills, but with personal challenges too. They truly care about these kids as people.

Another thing I appreciate is how understanding they are with cheer expenses. They offer fundraisers, help families when they can, and genuinely work with you. It makes such a big difference and shows how much they value every athlete and family.

We are so thankful we found this gym. My daughter absolutely loves it here, and watching her confidence grow has been the greatest gift. If you’re looking for a cheer gym that feels like home and truly invests in your child, this is the place! 💙🎀🤍

We have been at Empower for over a year now and couldn't be more thrilled to be apart of this organization. My daughter has learned so much in the last year when it comes to tumbling and cheer. She has gained so much confidence from her coaches and teammates. We have had amazing open communication with the owner and coaches on what is expected and what the policies are. They truly have a passion for cheer and coaching at Empower. Especially having a child with Autism in their tumbling and cheer program they have been understanding and supportive of her needs and have gone above and beyond to support her and all of the members on the team. My daughter was in gymnastics for 4 years with another company. The coaches didn't have any passion for what they were doing. My daughter began to really hate gymnastics because she wasn't excelling (to no fault of her own.) I ended up finding a tumbling program for her. With in one week of the tumbling program, my daughter learned more than she did in the four years she was in gymnastics. Coach Emily mentioned she was starting her own tumbling/cheer gym- empower athletics. We followed her and are so happy we did. All of the coaches work with the girls and show so much passion for what they do. The girls are shown disapline and have really become such a great team. I highly recommend Empower athletics.
