The Northeast YMCA has really upped their game. The front desk staff were extremely helpful in explaining many things. Also I no longer see unsupervised kids in the gym. The staff are always looking out for others.

We just got kicked out of a school playground by Northeast YMCA staff as it was "reserved"! Your seriously going to tell kids they can't play at a park! A park really & with everything going on in this world turning away a kid to play. Not the YMCA I grew up with!

Staff needs better customer service . Place is filthy… you would think having a lot of people come and go you would have a clean place but no. My child went there and when getting picked up they didn’t even acknowledge that I got her!!!!!!! Stay away if you love your child and want proper care! My friend had her kid at the kindercare next to it and saw one an older kid from the ymca throw a ball to this little girls head and to make matters worse he laughed! And of course the staff did nothing!!!!!!

It's definitely the old run down small YMCA of the bunch, like if you have the option you should go to one of the South Lincoln locations. But they're trying, it's clean, they recently did a lot of repainting it looks like.

I'm not from Lincoln but have YMCA membership in my hometown. I travel and use my membership all over. Tessa at the front desk questioned my integrity and had me fill out a membership application. After trying to tell her I have a.memebership already, she wanted my personal info because "she needed to know who I was and who is in her facility". She was very rude and inconsiderate. Her behavior and disposition as a whole was very insulting. Being a first responder and civil servant I found this experience rather unnecessary. At least I know I will not be returning to this location. Weight room did have a good variety of gear once I got past her ignorant behavior.

Have to go in to cancel membership instead of online. Did that months ago and still not cancelled. That needs changed. Been charged monthly and haven't been in once in the year 2024. Such a hassle.

Absolute trash company. We canceled THREE months ago, and every month they keep charging us, so we go in, they say it's taken care of, we never see the money go back to out account of course, and when we go back it's a new incompetent person at the desk saying the same thing - rinse and repeat. Would have actually stayed with the gym but it's very dirty and rundown. Management obviously isn't great ether. Consider going to another gym in town. So much money wasted.

My daughter went to preschool and had bad allergy rashes even though she was getting treated she was on medication and the school called police and sent them over my house to check my daughter and check where we live even though police told me I don’t know why I came here. So we had bad experience with this preschool!

Locker rooms are disgusting, smells like urine, lockers aren't ever cleaned and little kids got to shower in one big shower with old men and no dividers. Absolutely gross. From now on I will be identifying as a female and using the women's locker room.

I’m so glad that I joined the Northeast “Y” in September. Sebastian was a great and knowledgeable help at the front desk. Swimming laps two-three times a week, I appreciate the professional swimming and lifeguarding skills of: Tabitha, Quinn, Bri, and Tana. They are personable and helpful. The pool (excellent), showers, and locker room work well. Good job!

This YMCA has one of the best-equipped weight rooms in Lincoln, constantly cleaned and maintained by staff. There is a sauna next to the Olympic-sized pool. Recently pickleball lines have been added to the gym floor, making it an excellent venue for the indoor game.

This is the smallest YMCA weightlifting gym in Lincoln but it does have everything you need for a good workout. I go to all the YMCA facilities throughout Lincoln and like all of them. I enjoy coming to the Northeast Y because I grew up in this area. The people are friendly and they keep it clean.

The pool has no slides for my kids! Even stuff and it's small and I don't like it like my kid one time went to the pool and like while my 6 year old Aubergine said I don't like it and I agreed and my child was bored and didn't like the pool we went to then we just never went there

Went swimming during the open hours and was told I couldn't use a float board for my 5 year old but then a man walks right out of the pool and puts one away after using it, why could he use one but we couldn't? Also there was some lifeguard training class going on on the deep end and we weren't allowed on half of the pools right side because of it and the schedule didn't say there was a class. Just frustrating

The girl at the front desk was kinda useless when I asked her questions about getting a membership and how much it would be for the year. She was being odd to me when I said I wanted to just go swim. And I'm trying to loss weight and it felt like the kids for life guards gave you judging looks. I'm kinda to nervous to go back. And the reviews are not helping.

Been coming here my entire life but today I was treated very poorly by the manager. I believe she thought I was lying to her about being the guardian to my special needs sister.
I asked if we could get a pass for the day since the paperwork in the system apparently was not up to date but she refused and we had to leave.
I have used passes for many friends who are not special needs. This has got me rethinking my decision on my gym.
Luckily we went home and got the paperwork....the manager I talked with earlier had gone home and we had no problem getting in!!!
Maybe they should reconsider how they treat ALL people.

I visited the pool to do my off-season triathlon training. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when I asked where the pool was located. The lap pool was clean and water warm and clear. Overall, nice pool. Might not be the most up to date facility, but the pool is in good shape.

I usually use Fallbrook Y which is fantastic but I used this one on 70th st today and the font desk staff are the worst! Nick who was at the front desk was looking at us and counting us and asked is everybody here? I think this is inappropriate! I will never use this in future after this experience and it is not convenient either!

The staff at this location is excellent and friendly, unfortunately every other Y in the city has better facilities and is handicap accessible. I understand the northeast section of town is generally an afterthought in just about every regard but the membership cost is the same so it stands to reason the accommodations would be similar, which they are not and haven't been for several years.

Nice enough place but certainly not the nicest Y in Lincoln. Really shows how much updates it needs when. You visit any of the newer ones. Weights area is extremely cramped. You essentially need to walk around the outside of the whole facility to get in/out of your row.

I have been going to this Y for three years now. It is the best place to workout, be fit, build relationships with other members and have fun. The people who work there are dedicated and honestly care about your success. The atmosphere and spirit of personal growth and community spirit make it the best place to be to train for a marathon, dance away stress in Zumba or to reach any level of fitness goal.

I must say as a resident of the city of Lincoln, This YMCA is horrible. Out of the 4 YMCA in Lincoln, this would rank 3rd because the Downtown YMCA is even worse but this one isn't good at all. Very Small and really the best way to describe it is old. Old basketball gym, Old weight room which is extremely unimpressive. Pool isn't appealing one bit. Staff was nice to me the few times I've been there but because of the horrible quality and equipment, I would definitely never recommend it.
