Great place for Honey Locust Sangha which is in the Plum Village tradition in the lineage of Thich Nahn Hanh Vietnamese Thien (Zen) Buddhism

I started taking classes with Mark at the Yoga Path in Spring of 2021. I was struggling with general aches and pains from working on a computer all day and my stress levels were not helping. Mark's lessons at yoga path have been transformational, not only for my body but for my mind and soul. I wish I would have known about this earlier. But this is hands-down the best gift I have given myself.

Technical details:
🌻 The classes are 90 minutes long and Mark helps his students tweak poses based on their comfort and skill level.
🌻 There are changing facilities at the yoga class
🌻 Props are used generously which has personally helped me prevent injuries
🌻 Fellow students are very kind and supportive and I have felt a great sense of community at the yoga path
🌻 Mark has helped me with learning about mindfulness which has helped me manage anxious situations better
🌻 Mark's lessons are beginner friendly, I am not flexible enough but I always feel great after my lessons

This is the real deal. Not gym yoga, this is a study of yoga as a way of life through asanas and meditation.

The times on Google mean nothing!
I’ve never done yoga before. I’m out of my element, yet interested. I read through their websites, but wanted more information before I commit to the “8 lessons” package. I drive there during the hours posted on google. The door is locked.
So now I’m looking through the window to see if I’m actually at a yoga studio. No one is there. Sitting down in front of tYP; I regoogle this place and call the number listed. A guy answers
Guy: “Hello?
Me: Hey, are you guys open today?
Guy:*long pause..... oh, the Yoga Path?
Me:yeah, I’m hoping to get some literature
Guy:uh,yeah, but no one is t‪here now. Someone will be there after 6.
Me: *as the last of my carpe-diem-lets-try-yoga enthusiasm dies... okay, never mind

Was that the owner or an instructor’s cellphone I called? Why did he not know I was trying to reach the yoga path at first?
I still want to try yoga... but my first impression of this place is lackluster.

Mark is an amazing yoga teacher! I also love using the ropes hanging from the walls to deepen and allow for new poses.

Mark Watson's yoga classes have literally restored me to health. I had been going to the chiropractor weekly when I started Mark's class in 2009. After a few weeks, I dropped the chiropractor altogether because yoga produced better, more lasting results.

I work at a computer all day long which used to cause chronic neck pain. I also had been diagnosed with bursitis in my right shoulder. Amazingly, yoga cured both for me.

Another benefit... Mark's yoga class is grounded in mindfulness and intention which improves my ability to find joy in the present moment.

And believe me, you don't have to be a great athlete or practice all the time to feel a real difference in your life.

Oh, and best of all... Mark is wise, kind, and funny. A real mensch.

Mark Watson is the real deal. His study began as a student of Margaret Hahn's and has always honored traditional classical yoga. The studio is beautiful. Here you will find that which endures.

I have known several Yoga Path instructors since 1993 (before yoga was cool!) and they were into it way before that. Go to the school for authentic teaching from caring, knowledgeable instructors who will share The Yoga Path with you.

Been going to the Yoga Path for a couple years and really love the place. I am not an expert at it and that is okay! I don't feel like I'm on display or am in competition with the rest of the class. I also enjoy the tea and after practice discussion. Definitely a 5 star recommendation.

Mark Watson, lead teacher and owner, sets the tone for this real-deal yoga studio. I have sent many students there; I take classes there. A great place to start or expand your yoga horizons. Recommended without reservations.
