I just signed up last month. The skinny gentleman covered in tattoos was upset that I disturbed his stair stepper workout to ask him to sign me up. I signed up with him and gave him my direct banking information and my debit card that have both been active with ample funds. My grandmother passed out of town and I have been dealing with family matters and grief, I have explained this to Yanna who has continued to harass me regarding late fees telling me that I can only give payment in person and that I am late. Both accounts that made the original payment for membership are ACTIVE. No accountability whatsoever has been given to me regarding why they can not process the payment methods I have given and are active! These people are rude and run a terrible business. I was a member years ago at the Lemon valley location and NEVER had issues like this. I just want to cancel and have them send me a bill. She refuses to do so! Terrible business standards. Reporting to the BBB and corporate if I do not immediately have my account cancelled penalty free.

No one ever, and I do mean ever, answers the phone. Over the past 2 years, I've called them wrll over 20 times. Not one time have they answered and they rarely even return a message you leave within a week's time. Terrible inconsiderate management.
And their parent company is no better. Trying to get my acfount cancelled since I've moved away had been more than a hassle. And now threatening to send my account into collections, when I've tried cancelling my account dozens of times ovet the padt year and a half.
Apparently, the parent company can send me notices to thretaen legal action, but apparently canx't cancel my account or even get in contsct with the office to have my account canceled. It's almost fraudulent how they operate.

I have called, emailed, stopped at the location when the MANAGER said she would be there, and yet, cannot cancel my membership. How convenient the employee working at the time the manager was supposed to be there, can only initiate memberships- not cancel. This is a money hungry franchise. None of the Anytime gyms in Reno have good reviews. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I need to cancel because we are moving away from the location we currently have a membership at. Due to this treatment, I will NEVER have a membership at any anytime fitness.

We have tried cancelling a dormant membership my wife has had (And not used) for years with Anytime Fitness Red Rock. Starting Last October 2024, they aknowledged it would be cancelled inside of 30 days, to this day they are still billing us at $40/mo. Numerous correspondance (With replies aknowledging they received our request and would cancel) have gone incomplete. We are finally at the end and have now disupted these charges with our bank, with proof. The General Manager seems to be pretty general, i.e. non existent and points the finger at *Upper Management*. Last time I checked a General Manager IS Upper Management lol.

This gym has very poor customer service. Ever since the previous owners sold the gym at red rock has gone progressively downhill. They are often out of supplies and the gym is not cleaned. Staff is not present often times when βstaff hoursβ are posted. They donβt care about the people of the community or any customer loyalty. They raised their prices and cut budgets. They charge a club enhancement fee twice a year and still machines and equipment are broken and old.

They had a guy that was just chatting with the staff member close the blinds and simply ignored me. Definitely not a good first impression. A simple I'm busy at the moment can you come another time; would have been good.

Seems like an understaffed establishment, and after reading other reviews, I think Iβll find another place. Itβs never been this complicated to sign up for a gym membership.

Gosh this place is awful the bathrooms are sticky, no toilet paper, no paper towels thank god for the tissue paper i wonder how many people used the sink , a suggested box without a pen, hydro massage cost extra yet it's open but can't be used all the machines are crammed together so there's no space for anything, the showers don't look like they have been cleaned for months, and i'm pretty sure there was a bunch of pee on the floor in the bathroom it's gross and I had to scan my fob three times for it to let me in do better guys this is a disgrace

This place has really fallen off over the last sever months. 5 years ago to is place was clean, the equipment was in great shape and was always presentable⦠now the bathrooms are always dirty, shredded tissues all over, no paper towels to wipe down the equipment and much of the equipment is in need of proper repair or maintenance..

Been wanting to cancel my membership since March, no one EVER answers the phones, i go in to the gym and no one is there. After months of trying i finally got someone today and they said alot of people are canceling for the same reason I was- autopay goes through 1 day before pay day and since payment gets declined they charge a $20 late fee INSTANTLY. They also charge a $40 "annual fee" every 6 months and they charge to cancel membership. Beware.

I am so upset right now. This place screwed up my credit. Steer clear. I make all my payments on time for everything. Iβve never had any debt like this. I was severely ill the end of last year and still am. I could not go to the gym at all. I could hardly walk my dog without feeling like I was going to faint. When I signed up, I told them I have a severe illness and some months I feel better than others. They told me it was no problem, all I would need is a doctors note and they would cancel my membership. I mailed them a damn doctors note, didnβt hear a thing from them after that. No calls no nothing. Now I βoweβ $1,382!?!?!?!???! Iβm not sure what card they are playing here but taking advantage of ill people is one of the dirtiest things you can do in my opinion. Oh, and I just found this out today and have been trying to get ahold of someone in the officeβ¦ they donβt answer their phones!
Edit: The response to this review is hilarious! They havenβt done a single thing to make this right! All they have done is argue with me over email LMAO! Pathetic and bad business practice

My girlfriend became chronically ill last year and could no longer work out. She can barely walk She made the gym aware of it and they said to send a doctors note and they would cancel it. We mailed the doctors note to them at the end of last year. Today we find out that they never cancelled her membership and sent her to collections for $1,300+. How is 6mo of unpaid membership $1,300? Why did they not reach out to her again stating they havenβt received payment or a doctors note? They have now tanked her credit because of it. This is absolutely unacceptable and bad business. When reaching out to the club today, it took MULTIPLE calls and a voicemail then they never called and just emailed her stating that there was nothing they could do about it. We did what they requested and sent them the doctors note thinking it was done and taken care of and now we have to deal with this. I was going to be coming to this location as I just moved across the street from it but I will be taking my business somewhere else and will be sharing this with our friends and community advising them to cancel their memberships as well. If theyβd like to correct this and make it right, Iβd be happy to give them our business but in the meantime this is unacceptable and needs to be corrected.

The Gym location is perfect for my commute and always as a plus it's a 24 hour gym. You cannot go anytime after 9am though and you would have to wait until 10pm to go to get a decent workout in. I between those time there are so many many and what look like kids just standing around talking I stead of using what the gyms purpose is. I have heard other people complain about the same issue and have never seen the staff say anything to anybody. I understand you pay a membership but there are limitations to what needs to be controlled and that is definitely one of them. That is my biggest complaint, other than that I think some machines need to be replaced to add different ones but still very usable regardless.

This location is never packed, which is nice. The equipment is nice and a good selection to choose from. It does need to be deep cleaned and cleaned consistently. The walls above the treadmills and ellipticals are covered in heavy dust as well as the elliptical machines. I have not seen anyone sanitize machines, weights, or mats after use as requested by the facility. I always sanitize before use because of this.

Horrible place manager never gives call backs and never answers the phone. Have left over 10 messages and not one call back. Go in during hours she is suppose to be there and nothing. Have extra charges on my account and can't even get it figured out. Club is so small and so busy it's ridiculous. Me and my girl have the key fob both on the same keys pretty sure they hit us with a couple extra fees for the wrong one scanning maybe? But can't get a call back or anything. Guess when she is finally at work will have to go in and cancel the memberships I pay for 6 people to go for the last 6 years. Old managers were atleast there back in the day and would answer the phone. Time to save 250 a month and go to a club that charges 10 a month not 40 a month. Atleast the other clubs you will be able to get to workout. Only problem is charges just hit my accounts with their yearly 40 dollar.

Absolute horrible member service!! I have been trying to get ahold of the membership manager at the club for over two weeks. She was not there when the trainers said she would be and never returned any phone messages I left. Finally, today after calling all morning and no answer, I drove over to the club and she was there. I asked why no calls were returned and her response was "we are really busy". Be advised that the club is no longer locally owned as it previously had been so they really do not care about customer service. Some national investment company out of Texas now owns it. I asked for their phone number and she was unable to provide any point of contact for them. I asked when she was ever there and she said M-W-F from 10 to I think 3. Well I was there Wednesday at 1025 and there wasn't any employee there. When I pointed out she was not there during her "work" hours she said she had something to do and must have been late. Come on, this is your job! The member manager office looked as if a trash truck had exploded inside it. When she told me to follow her to her office there wasn't even a chair to sit in. Rather than put my membership on a freeze, I just decided to terminate my membership seeing they are now jumping the rates almost 50% and find another place to work out. Nobody should have to work this hard to speak to an employee there. AVOID at all costs.

Words canβt describe how thankful I am for my coach Vic. I used to hate going to the gym and trying to figure out what I need to work on. With my personal training I get all the information I need to be successful. I am shown the correct form, the correct amount of calories that I should consume, and how important it is to stretch! Upon trying to cancel a month-to-month membership since February for my husband who is unavailable until November, my bank account is been charged multiple times which is to include fraudulent charges. The so-called
Manager βIsaacβ, Told me I had to prove where my husband was and that told me I had to prove where my husband was and that he was unavailable, and I needed to prove that I had called their multiple times and left messages even though he admittedly said the messages are rarely checked and they delete automatically every 30 days. He is refusing to date to give me any information on his immediate supervisor to contact nor the owner info, stating that he was the only one that I could talk to that he was the manager, and that the owners did not wanna be bothered. he then emailed me and said that I would have to do a 30 day notice, I am infuriated! He is arrogant and he is rude and he has dismissed me and now is refusing to take future calls. The only reason I was able to even get him on the phone yesterday was because another anytime fitness member at another location assisted me. Upon calling my bank to see what I could do about future charges I realize Natalie was I charged again the next day, After my conversation with Isaac, but the bank has filed a full investigation for the entire my husbands been a member. My bank is located multiple charges every month, three in April so far and the bill isnβt even due till the 23rd!

The gym was nice, after 7 months of being there I decided to move out of state, I asked to cancel my membership but they notified me of my year contract so I waited until my year was up. After the year I sent in a cancelation form which was never seen so I kept paying for the membership. After a few months of trying to get into contact with someone I finally get a hold of a manager who was very rude to me and told me it was completely my fault that my membership has not been canceled and that I need to send in another cancelation form which i did. After another year and a half of no response from anyone i finally sent in another cancelation letter today and someone finally responded telling me that I cannot send a cancelation letter over email anymore and i need to come into the office to personally sign it and not only that, I have to come into the office in reno so I have to drive 10 hours to a office to cancel my membership that I am now in collections for. terrible place do not start a membership there unless you plan on signing a different contract.

In stead of maintaining the cable tension if the equipment, the manager elects to spend her time being rude over the phone when someone wants to sign up but does not have availablity during operational hours.
A facility managed by children will always have issues, which is why I train at the ufc gym in Reno. Both facilities have new equipment but anytime fitness had several machines that were unusable due to easily correctable maintenance.

Joined almost a month ago. Staff say hi and ask how your doing. Met with the trainer a couple of days after I joined to do a body analysis to see what my baseline is. We discussed my why's and what my goals are and how to meet them. They follow up with phone calls to schedule meeting with the trainer. I'm impressed.

I like the fact that I can use the gym at any time versus 24 hour fitness which is not actually open at 2 a.m. if I need to. Also it's usually not crowded even if it looks like a lot of cars in the parking lot.

Smaller, but better equipped than Planet Fitness.
But Planet Fitness is only $15 a month, which works with my schedule. As a trucker, most days I'm working 12 to 14 hours, and I don't have time or the energy to go to the gym. So if I miss a couple days, $15 a month isn't going to break me. But paying $45 for just me is a bit ridiculous.
If you can adjust the price point, you'd have 2 more members.
50 a month for a couple works for me.

This gym is really nice and the price is affordable. I like that it's not super busy and the equipment is state of the art. The machines count your reps, they keep track of your set and rest time, and they also have heart monitors in their sessions. I really like the massage room too!

What a great gym! I must admit that my impression of a Anytime Fitness gym was not what I experienced today. It's a 24/7 facility that is the most clean and up to date that I've seen. Other big box gyms would kill to have a place this nice. We met Tanner and the owner Mark who were very professional and thorough with our tour of their gym. It was obvious they were proud of their place and took extra pride in keeping it clean and up to date. We look forward to working out with you guys!

Well originally it was set up for individuals to work out on equipment on their own schedule literally anytime. Now they're gearing more towards a group fitness. They've even REMOVED equipment to accommodate the space needed for group fitness. Apparently SOME of their members were already members of group fitness gyms and Anytime Fitness wants to CASH in on that market by offering group fitness classes for a fee and "so members won't need gym memberships at two different types of gyms" ππ The only unfortunate thing about that is that Anytime Fitness was never marketed as a "GROUP FITNESS" gym. Now individuals who signed up under the old premise of INDIVIDUAL fitness concept are losing gym equipment that was valuable to them to accommodate the space needed for this group fitness.

We wanted to address the 1 star review from Theresa regarding her dog being in a crate when she came in. We love pets and service animals are always welcome. This pet was not yet a licensed service dog according to the person in question. Our security footage clearly shows the dog running freely across the lobby floor. This individual has embellished her story and must not have know we have security cameras.

Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place , every member of the staff is approachable and so willing to help. I am sure equipment breaks but I have NEVER seen a piece of equipment broken or not useable. I have worked out all over town at different gyms , this isn't what you think of when you think of a gym. The pride the members have in this place shows. Also there are great people who workout here. Like I said I cannot say enough positive things about this place.

As I walked in the door I was immediately confronted with "What are you doing with that?" My 4lb Yorkie, well behaved quiet in a crate, was not welcomed. My dog is in process of receiving a service certificate. That didn't matter the woman said no. Not very nice. My husband and I were turned away, we have been members for 4 1/2 years.

We are very impressed with this gym. The staff and trainers are amazing!! The facility is always immaculate and the equipment is state of the art. I love this gym!
